He felt real more real than any other. Farcy 2 had a real one as well just not as good as a Vaas. But he was real. A close competitor is Pagan Min. While least realistic he was the most rational of them all he actually made sense even more than the hero factions.

i love vaas because in the end he made you just as insane as him. he tried to kill you multiple times and everytime he though he did. you then think you kill him only for him to return to fight you again. i was pissed he dissappeared halfway thru the game. it would be cool he appeared in the last 15% and his men waged war against the mercs with vaas being the one to kill his boss. you would have a final fight that still leads to this idea if he really dead or not. the tinge of insanity where everyone thinks he is but you know he is still alive because your still alive. have the orignal ending then walla better game then the original.
The fact that Vaas wasn't even in the original script for the game, but they enjoyed Mando's audition so much, they made Vaas for him... that's how amazing this character is and Mando's acting skills are.
Which makes me question, if it was true, what was the original plan for the game then? Like is the theme of insanity would still be in the original story?

Oh, it's my uncle's story : When the Vaas Actor showed up in Ubisoft Montréal, he was in the cast for a emotionless insane dude, this guy just did the reverse card (also he did the french voice too). It really is my uncle's story (Serge, the EX-Creative Director in Ubisoft Montréal)
