While the suicide squad are just a secret group of expendables meant to die after every mission. Also the thunderbolts are a lot more powerful, especially when they have Sentry (Bob). The Thunderbolts are actually a formidable team on the same level of power as the Avengers.

Stormtroopers actually have very good aim. In A New Hope, the Empire LET THEM get away. They put a tracker on the Falcon and it led them back to the rebel base on Yavin-4. Leia even points it out to Han they could be tracked and she was right! To say those soldiers have stormtrooper aim would be a compliment.
Bucky was good in the show, i actually prefer bucky have a mix of silent badass moments and somewhat vulnerable moments, it actually makes him more enjoyable

I really like how this trailer depicts the "heroes" as kind of bored and tired. In their universe, super heroes are such old news and so many iconic ones have come and gone before that they seem to know they will never have any meaningful reward or recognition, especially since they all already have black marks against them. Whatever they do to save the world is seen more as procedure and redemption than actual selfless heroics. If they lean more into that browbeaten theme and less into the 2016 Suicide Squad theme of "Isn't it ironic and fun that we are bad guys being forced into playing heroes" then this could work
I think it's less that they're forced into playing heroes and more realizing that they can be heroes without totally changing who they are. All of them have a dark past, but they don't have to be Steve Rogers, just better versions of themselves. Apparently they meet Bob pretty early, so I'm guessing the plot will revolve around them keeping him out of government hands (while keeping him from killing everybody), because ALL of them know what it's like to have someone else have nigh complete control over you.

@@Dechozy - There’s a fan theory that the reason there’s an asterisk in the title is because, besides the fact that NONE of the characters were Thunderbolts in the comics, is that we’re going to find out they’re meant to be the Dark Avengers. But, that’s just a theory.
That's what everyone is so concerned about. If Taskmaster was a lot more comic accurate, than we wouldn't mind too much. But the fact that they supposedly have to fight Sentry, this is sad. They're super soldiers but they're not super enough. In the comics, Moonstone, Green Goblin, the Punisher, Beetle, Venom, a Hawkeye, and I think Ghost Rider are also a part of the team. So they're a lot more intimidating. This team is definitely cool but it feels powerless at the end of the day.

Stormtroopers actually have very good aim. In A New Hope, the Empire LET THEM get away. They put a tracker on the Falcon and it led them back to the rebel base on Yavin-4. Leia even points it out to Han they could be tracked and she was right!
To say those soldiers have stormtrooper aim would be a compliment.

I really like how this trailer depicts the "heroes" as kind of bored and tired. In their universe, super heroes are such old news and so many iconic ones have come and gone before that they seem to know they will never have any meaningful reward or recognition, especially since they all already have black marks against them. Whatever they do to save the world is seen more as procedure and redemption than actual selfless heroics.
If they lean more into that browbeaten theme and less into the 2016 Suicide Squad theme of "Isn't it ironic and fun that we are bad guys being forced into playing heroes" then this could work
I think it's less that they're forced into playing heroes and more realizing that they can be heroes without totally changing who they are. All of them have a dark past, but they don't have to be Steve Rogers, just better versions of themselves.
Apparently they meet Bob pretty early, so I'm guessing the plot will revolve around them keeping him out of government hands (while keeping him from killing everybody), because ALL of them know what it's like to have someone else have nigh complete control over you.

Yes. Like when Yelena was making comments about Natasha's superhero landing poses and calling them unnecessary in Black Widow movie. I got a good laugh when she did the pose later and shook it off with visible disgust.

Because rumors are the next phase won’t involve saving the universe or multiverse, it’s gonna be a bit more grounded. Maybe bring in Norman Osborn and his team of Dark Avengers. Makes sense now that Iron Man is dead.

That's what everyone is so concerned about. If Taskmaster was a lot more comic accurate, than we wouldn't mind too much. But the fact that they supposedly have to fight Sentry, this is sad. They're super soldiers but they're not super enough. In the comics, Moonstone, Green Goblin, the Punisher, Beetle, Venom, a Hawkeye, and I think Ghost Rider are also a part of the team. So they're a lot more intimidating. This team is definitely cool but it feels powerless at the end of the day.
