It's actually not super cursed to form France as England imo. In real life, France and England were in a personal union together as the Angevin Kingdom, and for a very long time even after the 100 Years War, French was the de-facto language of the English royalty and much of mainland Europe's royalty as well. Not to mention William the Conqueror was Norman French and he brought the language with him
I think it was Ed boy V who first used English predominantly in his government laying the foundation for English nationalism. And yes there worst thing to happen to the English language was the French.
The angevin kings didnt have a personal union over the kingdom of france they only held the duchies of normandy and aquitaine which technically made them a vassal of the french kings
The "disaster" is always very much worth it unless you are lucky enough to have your king immediately die. Getting an heir is not good, I think the war of the roses is even more optimal than a 6/6/6 heir because of the time you spend with your 0/0/0 (unless you are planning to bird or something alike).

Given that seizing the crown of the kingdom of France was always the ambition of Angevin monarchs, this isn't really all that cursed, just the natural result of what would have happened if England had won the hundred years war.
@Immortal Science of Hauntology Yeah, this makes more sense given the historical example of on and off unions between the crowns of Bohemia, Poland and Hungary or the kalmar union. However, given that at the time the french crown was the more prestigious one, it's also not unlikely that initially, just like the Habsburgs domains were initially just referred to as the Austrian Empire, the Angevin domain would probably just be colloquially named the French Empire. Although the English, just like the Hungarians in real life, would've strove to become independent from such an arrangement if it had happened, or at the very least for a dual monarchy type of deal.
@Immortal Science of Hauntology Now I just had the image appear in my mind of a Irish Gavrilo Princip killing the Dauphin of the Franco-English Empire and starting WW1.

The double mission trees means both Mongolia mission tree (use Mongolian as primary culture) and Qing mission tree (use QNG as the tag). The double religion is something I am also confused. My recommendation for England: 1. sell Maine to Provence 2. ally Castile, Aragon and Austria. Curry 10 favors for each country. 3. Deal with the War of the Roses - get the Henry Tudor as a heir for the +1 stability 4. Attack France - Take back only your core but after sieging down Paris, take the PU mission just before you make peace. 5. Declare war on Brittany and and annex them after the war with France. 6. It is likely that Provence will be excommunicated. Use the CB and make them your vassal, ideally after they lost the war with Burgundy and/or the Papal State. Provence will have juicy cores to be returned. 7. Once the peace is over with France, declare the last war with them and make them a junior partner to England. 8. You ought to declare war on Burgundy and cancel her rivalry with you, maybe return provinces back to Provence and then just improve relations up until they become friendly. Ally her and as her strongest ally, you'll get Burgundy under your PU. 9. Deal with Scotland and the Irish islands by your mission tree. You can one-click integrate Scotland by turning into the UK so don't integrate them regularly. While you wage wars with different kingdoms, make sure you make your heir and king generals. Ideally, you wanna a Trastamara on your throne! After subjecting France and once you have a Trastamara on the English Iron Throne, you should focus on PU-ing Castile and Aragon, maybe Naples too! Curry favors with Portugal and put your Trastamara heir on their throne and use the PU CB later on them as well!
