do you know the difference between undiscounted price and "value"?? in this case the first is a lot bigger than the second, closer to triple than double
You have 20 years until Ethiopia converts the Jewish provinces. I got lucky and the diet gave me a claim on sofala so I could declare on Kilwa day one, I merc'd up and full annexed them, then just kept spies ahead of my conquests to always ensure I had a cb on the next nation. Basically once you beat Kilwa it shouldn't be too hard. You have loads of time to clean up borders while waiting to finish your gov reforms and convert. Pre-converting provinces via rebels helps your religious unity once you do reform. I also then continued conquering north so I could get Shemot as Not by converting Egypt.
I tried 3 times but everytime i would get to ethiopia just to discover it had converted the jewish provinces, guess i was to slow (~1470). The other way to get this achievement would be to wait for the ottomans to get the event to convert selanik to jewish, but doesn t happen everytime and it would take to much time to find out
@@Total2Gamerz yeah that's something kind of nice about this achievement, you know pretty quickly that you need to restart. Took me a fair few tries before I got it.
@@Total2GamerzThe -100% conversion modifier from Ethiopias mission event (which the AI always takes) lasts 25 years, so assuming Ethiopia beats up their rebels by Jan 1445, you have until Jan 1470 until Ethiopia will start converting the provinces.
Recently I played Butua and conquered all of Africa by 1600. Was a great campaign but dude wars were so annoying because the AI of european powers landed their troops everywhere.
@5:15 I saw Hawk make the same comment on the Mutapa Guide, and I just want to clarify - taking that first mission doesn't just increase development in the province of Zimbabwe, but every province you own where you build or upgrade the building!
Hey man, I'm quite new to the channel, but I just wanted to say, I really enjoy your content! I'm following both A-Z and releasables, great series. Thanks for the heads up for the humble bundle deal; obviously adjusted the donation all the way in your favor! Cheers
@10:15 thats a strong Ethiopia, flip Catholic and PU them quick! Then you can take advantage of their mission tree to add trade centers and increase development!
@6:00 Hawk, to avoid being overpowered by Kilwa and their advanced tech, you need to declare on them quickly! 3 vs 2 is not that great of an advantage, so get some merc companies off the bat and overcome them with numbers before they get a big alliance network!
When you said "I tried and can't do the achievement" I felt like I surpassed my master. I bought the game long ago but I started playing for real in 1.33. And I learned that Byzantium is some kind of rookie eliminator. I watched your guide step by step and ended forming roman empire that run. Now I do Oirat wc for fun but hearing that I did something you couldn't made me happy. Thanks for the good work and contents
I love playing as Mutapa. The fact that they have so many nearby gold mines and potential gold mines and each building adds development to the province is huge! Plus they can flip Catholic and PU pretty much every colonial empire easily, it's insane!
I've been considering trying to make a world conquest run with them, might be possible. I can pretty much subjugate all of Africa and get some bug PUs by 1600, so it could be possible.
For Mysore there can be some anticolonial stuff as it was the last Indian state to be subjugated by GB(and also the first to be made into a princely state). Maybe do the achievement when you form the Indian nation and then conquer a bunch of British cities? Might take too long though
@@carl4889I very rarely see GB (or any European nation for that matter) in India. So he would probably have to no cb GB unless he’s lucky and they colonize something close.
Zulu is actually a formable nation, and can be done uniquely by Mutapa through recruiting the Nguni where it creates a flag. You do need admin 15 and certain provinces at 8 mil dev
As mutapa you should attack kilwa as soon as you recruit all mercs you can go into debt and tgan conquer all of kilwa and sofala and get your money back via gold mines
You could start at a year where Zulu exists as its own tag and then try to release the other Z nations as vassals; idk how well it would translate into a video tho lol
I feel like a cool challenge for letter z would be to play as a custom nation in the province of zanzibar and try to conquer oman and england. The interesting part would be how op can you make your national ideas to achieve those goals as fast as possible
i mean technically you can play Zulu in 1444 due to a bug... go to the year 1816 when Zulu shows up then go back to 1444 for what ever reason 'Zulu' stays and a native America tribe 'Chisca' gets a second province
As Mainz, who starts out as both an elector and a Theocracy, band together with former prince-bishops Cologne and Trier (alliance or vassalization), disband the HRE and divide all (modern-day German or german cultured) provinces between these theocracies - have everyone live in a Theocracy, so to say, for a TRULY Holy Empire. Bonus points for making Rome your new capital to make it a TRULY Holy ROMAN Empire. Cursed Version: Change your religion midway, extra cursed if you turn Anglican.

The DLCs are only maybe half of what's available for City Skylines, but it's still a really good deal.

As a final nation in A-Z,you NEED TO CONQUER THE WORLD
what is the final nation tho? zulu?
Nah, he's doing that as Ryukyu. If the comment section doesn't riot telling him to TTM, I'll eat my hat.

Go to 1821 from the choose date screen
Select Zulu
Return to 1444 and enjoy ( but most likely suffer )

For the last nation, you should do a world conquest.
