Whenever I see videos about strategy games I like to imagine how the historians of the game's universe would explain all the weird stuff that happen: for this my head cannon is that Rajupatana went through a crisis akin to the fall of the Tang dynasty and this resulted in some generals trying to take, every time a general will take over he will give the empire a new name based on where he was born only for another general to overthrow him later.
As the lombards originally were german and they invaded italy so do a reverse gothic invasion as milan and form germany. Edit: also try to play with the military dictatorship to make it more real. Edit 2: or you can unite germany as forming it requires admin tech.
Based Redhawk actually conquering an entire subcontinent for an impressive thumbnail versus cringe laith exaggerating in every thumbnail by a comical degree
Almost made it to absolutism. Not surprising. Uniting India is a tall task, but it's a nice change of pace from the usual Europe gameplay. Your borders look better than the mess I've got going on now.
Great job Red Hawk. One of your best campaigns yet. Really enjoyed the video. Also... No core revoking=PAIN Speaking of "PAIN", as Ming, purposefully blow up then try to reunite China. 😂
I reckon you couldn't release Bijapur from more provinces because those are not their primary culture. That's usually why some nations can't be released.
23:48 A little sad you didn't choose the Rajput's unique reform there, but great video. Love seeing you play seriously from time to time, I still remember the speedruns or records you used to make! Edit: I think you for-gor to change your main trade node after Kannauj became the new capital, so you lost out on that sweet Gujarati trade moola 😂 7 formations still very good tho, cheers!
I actually enjoyed this a LOT. Big part of it is the fact that we got to see you play more aggressively, I think; it seemed like this is closer to how you normally play the game. I normally play more slowly without the truce juggling, so this was nice to watch and probably something I should practice more!
there is a new achi for ming, "Copium Wars", i think you could try to go for it, trying to sneak from ming to scandinavia, then naval invade the british isles i guess, also this ep was lit
Mysore - Miss-our Bengal - Bang-All Jarkand - Jerk-And 😅 I love your accent! ❤ And your videos as well! I learned most about the game from them! Thank you!🙂
Surprised to not see too many Ming suggestions down here, but I think you should try to intentionally collapse and try to reform China to its modern day borders. (Imagine the amount of rebel stacks you’d be fighting!) bonus points for getting Taiwan, Korea or Japan
As Milan, honor the legacy of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and conquer the provinces of Manchester, barcelona, Turin, Amsterdam, Paris and malmo (you can ignore Los angeles)
The beauty of begging cores back like in this Orissa case, is, it weakens their power base relative to yours, so you generate even more favours for being "allies".
I know you got a lot of work to do with a to z and releasables, but once you said you did speed runs, so it would be fun to do speed achievement guides
Going over governing capacity reduces admin efficiency, which will SIGNIFICANTLY increase the war score cost for provinces, and the ae gained from taking them. courthouses and the land rights privileges are way more important now for that reason
Future historians: "At the end of the 16th century, the Indian subcontinent experienced some insanity." Future cartographers: "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU..."
The family in charge of Milan in 1444 is the "Visconti". BUT. In no time it can change to "Sforza" with the ruler of "Francesco Sforza". "Sforza" (or "sforzarsi") in Italian can roughly translate to "to struggle", "to endeavor" or "to endure pain". So as Milan you can conquest the whole south of the HRE and form the nation of Franconia, in honor to Franc-esco Sforza!
Until this year, Milan was the only city in Europe with two teams having won Champions League, so the goal is easy: recreate the 10 CL won by two Milan teams by owning and coring all provinces where they won the cup or from which their opponents came, that are: Amsterdam Athens Barcelona Chester Giurgiu Lisboa Madrid Milan Munchen Torino Wien As you can see, absolutely zero pain at all!
no, he made a mistake. when a hindu nation occupes hindu provinces from a muslim nation, the religious map shows the provinces as controlled by a hindu nation. they were still sunni in reality.
As Milan, save Italy from meddlesome foreign monarchs by locking them up. Make France, Austria and Aragon not exist, except as your OPM vassals in North Italy. ie: Own North Italy and have OPM France, Austria and Aragon own Pavia, Novara and Cremona.
In an old video you said you were an AC Milan fan (rare RedHawk L), so you should core all the winning cities of UCL, the disgust of such bordergore would be a great way of roleplaying to be milanista
He sad he will not do the Mewar Never Changes achivement. First thing he does is the achivement. (Rajputana missiontree is the same and counts for the achivement)
@@TheRedHawk I just found it funny that you said you will not do it this time and before the half of the video you already had all its requirements by "accident".
Francois the First tried to conquer Milan and it was his objective for all his life, so your objective as Milan should be to get modern day (or the 1515 borders) France as a vassal or PU.

as Milan you should flip to Golden Ambrosian Republic and own a gold province
Form Italy while being military dictatorship.
P. S. I hope you know how you need to name your ruler.
Take revenge about last champions league final between Inter Milan x Manchester City and own the Manchester Pronvince!
Conquer Gaul. Oops, I mean France.
The Edict of Milan gave official tolerance to all religion in the Roman Empire. Try to max out your tolerance of heretics.
I had my suspicions but this video definitely confirms it. RedHawk is a masochist.
Explains why he is doing A to Z
The safeword is Pain.
Redhawk is more of ISP in EU4 more than ISP himself
this one looked like a really fun campaign though ngl
Red Hawk forces his people into constant warfare
"I wonder why I've been getting so many good generals"
Stalin should take notes 😂

@@Cyclonixs technically it wasn't a military dictatorship, but it's the closest thing to that you have in eu4
More real? Military dictatorship during the Lombard time period or during the EU4 timeline? Didn't the Sforza dyansty rule Milan?

Love this honouree episode of Nation Formation. Glad you brought this series back :D

yes. he took a marathi province while bijapur is primarily kannada.

You should do a series where you get every eu4 achievement
Didn't he compete with Laith doing that?
He announced that like the ending of last month.
Fun to see a game got later into the timeline. Probably only worth it with a powerful nation like Mewar. Powerful Persia and Ethiopia as well.
As the ming, you should totally get the "Copium war" achievement

The best A2Z video so far! Glory to Red Hawk!
This has been my favorite video so far!
Not doing the last few years in the rewind/recap/timeline view is criminal

Hawk confirmed european. He starts counting with his thumb not his index finger
Damn, guess I'm not European then...
9:28 - how on Earth does that guy have both decreased and increased construction costs, unless that is a new special trait that uses the same icon?

I love the episodes where you do this much conquest
It is a bonus that the capital changes so many times, when doing Mewar Always Changes 😂

I find the hardest part about playing Mewar is finding your first target amongst the massive blob of alliance blocks that always exists in India.
Red, a really powerful shift you should try is Bohemia > Austria > Poland > Commonwealth (> HRE).
Nine rings were gifted to the race of Men, who above all else desire power
Best A-Z ever.
Part of a Mewar playthrough is to constantly maintain a Mewing streak
In the middle of a Mewar - Rajh - Bharat run.
Huge power base/econ base in the gujharat node and expansion from the mission tree.
The video said Ming but I think Milan is next? When you do do Ming I would love to see you do the start date exploit to become HRE emperor as Ming :)

You can only release a nation if it has a core on a province with their primary culture if I remember correctly.
