Thumbs up if you still love your 9th gen Accord and think it's the best looking and best driving Accord ever! You either have one or looking to get one soon. I do urge you to test drive one before jumping on the Camry bandwagon. The Accord will win you over without a doubt.
Friends of mine have one of these. Aesthetically, it's attractive and pleasing. Quality is top-notch. They're beautiful cars. However, where it loses points is in the hard front seating area and limited legroom for front passengers. Technology is intuitive, though. Honda designers and engineers put a great deal of work into making the 2013 Accord a well-rounded, solid value proposition against its competition.
I wanted the Camry but not anymore and my mom’s boyfriend has a specked out 2017 accord and it was nice but I think ima just get a Lexus es 350🤷🏽 do you think I’m going with a good choice? If not lmk what car to get before June 9th 😂
***** Thanks for the reply! My brother bought a 2013 Accord Sport and overall likes the car but is a bit disappointed in the handling but said nothing about any CVT issues. One RUclips person said that CVT transmissions are VERY expensive to repair over other transmissions and not sure how true that is. And I was considering either a 2016 Mazda 6 or a Honda Accord EX-L but someone else said online to avoid getting first-year redesign cars since they may have bugs needed to be worked out by the car companies and that made sense. And Dave Erickson from "Everyman Driver" just reviewed the new Mazda 6 and had his pro and con comments about the car.
+nickelwindow53 You should have waited until the 2016 refresh came out. In 2016, the EX model will come with LED fog lights, tail lights, and DRL's, HD radio, Sirius/XM radio, forward collision warning, lanekeeping assist, remote start, etc.
my first car was a dark grey metallic 1990 accord exr sedan that i drove until 2005, with 210,000kms. the thing was a beast. looked sharp, was kinda sporty, super reliable, great sound system, and comfy as hell. got me through more than a few muddy fields, logging roads, snow storms and even a mild flood. i beat the living crap out of that car for 15 years and it would just dust it off like it wasn't no thang. i'd consider buying another if i wasn't so into german cars...
This will actually make a great 1st car I like the styling it looks better than the 8th generation looks more stylish mean, up-to-date and it will last me for years to come yeah I’m definitely getting this model & of course good on ⛽️!
I've had my 2013 since 2017. Bought it used with 20k.mi. I seriously love this car. Fit and finish is excellent, and it's still one of the most stylish sedans on the road. No wonder you see them everywhere!
This is, without question, the best all-around missile sedan. The new Mazda6 drives a bit better, and the Ford Fusion might have a few mor options, but none are as well-thought out as this!
Lol the 2013 Ford fusion had like 18 safety recalls. Just a crappy engineered designed car. I owned the 2014 and it wasn't much better. Worst years for that model.
All I know the 2013 Accord 6 speed manual goes from 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds!!! That's V6 territory out of a 4 cylinder. Plus Honda makes some of the best manuals out there. If you want a fun FWD manual car for only around 22K... then the Accord is a no brainier.
The Accord is a very handsome sedan. Very competitive-ly priced for what you get (standard alloys if I remember correctly?!), great resale value, drives well, and actually gets the EPA estimates *cough*HyundaiKiaFord*cough*...It is a no brainer.
I had a 03 7th gen v6 sedan for 5 years and was disappointed with the 8th gen. The 9th is a step in the right direction but I'm happy with my current car.
You are correct, but this new accord has a few qualities my 05 doesn't as well. For example, it is way quieter (a serious issue I have with my car is the road and wind noise, for which there is no good solution).
Think again. The new Accord's CVT acts like a normal automatic, and is very responsive. Drive one if you don't believe me. You get the fuel economy of a CVT with the responsiveness of a normal 6-speed automatic.
People who think the CVT transmission is so great, just hope and pray you never have to pay to get that transmission fixed. The bill will give you a heart attack, no joke. And all these other cars coming out with eight and nine speed transmissions are in for a HUGE surprise if they ever have to pay to get any of those fixed. If you think I'm kidding ask your local transmission expert.
As soon as he said "CVT" i stopped the video. It may be more efficient or even faster, but I just cannot get over the sound of the engine being stuck at 6500 rpm. It's just weird.
The person meant that it's dumb to have the speedometer display speeds in equal increments to 140, which is useless considering most drivers won't be going much more than 80MPH at any given time.
if you think spending extra 10K on a name brand is money worth spent, go ahead. at the end of the day, Honda holds its resale value better than others.
I get it! People with "NO BRAIN" buy Accords. ;). Get it, NO BRAINER? No, oh well. Always enjoy Micah's take on transportation. And I am always side swiping bus's. I never see those Huge Yellow Long Tall things with flashing lights. I think you're the first reviewer that didn't criticize the center stack being over kill with screens. I think it's ok. Thanks Micah
no man, i have a 2004 V6 and i honestly think no accord has been that good in handling since 04-05...they have gotten bigger, bloated and duller. New ones looks more subdued. the 04 look like the sportiest accord ever.
It's a very optimistic speedometer that goes up to 160 mph, even though the Accord's top speed should be no higher than 120-130. It's useless to EVERYONE.
Just got mine Honda Accord 2013 Ex model....I love it so much
Thumbs up if you still love your 9th gen Accord and think it's the best looking and best driving Accord ever!

just bought this car in silver its amazing!
***** Any jerking issues with the CVT when the engine is cold????
Doug Celeste i will say its kinda a slugish start at times iv noticed during cold weather no that you mentioned it but thats all. lol

Doug Celeste omg you should get the 2016 its amazing! Even with it being first redesign i would take my chances. Its a HOT CAR!

Best looking accord yet

This is actually the color of the 2015 Honda Accord I just bought for myself in May 2021- "Champagne Frost"! This is the color I preferred! 🚘

Guess theres no camrys at ur location..

it is but the features you get at 30K is still far better looking than a TL at 43K.
and Acura gives you a feeling that its still a Honda at heart.

Whoa that hybrid version is OOGLAY.

Still a great car. 👍
nice video, thank you for the effort.
please get a 2013 accord CVT for long team review. People wonder how reliable is the new CVT.
Great review. I like the new KBB for
Going to be my next car
People who don't like Accord's either haven't driven one or drive luxury cars. I love my 05. This one is better.

Charles Domanski, no transmission repair is cheap.
Most times you don’t “repair” cvt you “replace” cvt. Typical cost shop charge $4000. And expect higher prices if you go to a Honda dealer.
No need, BTB warranties are a beautiful thing.
LOL that troll face he made at 3:40. Good review.

@renewer Way to drudge up the past man. This vid is like 7 years old now. If this is what you do in your free time you must live a sad pathetic life.

If I was to buy a used one how much would it cost.
What is useless to you, isn't useless to everyone.
I don't think you'll be tracking your Accord anytime soon. Perhaps you will your Polestar Volvo.
no trip to ikea with that back seat crap but otherwise damn near perfect car...oh and adaptive cruise control
no way man, the 2003-05 were the best looking hands down.
opsonization2 nah

Micah, I don't like these voice over reviews as much as the ones where you talk as you review through the car :(
This dude is cool, but I miss looking at the the KBB girl. Anyone remember her?
WoW
No way. I hated the kia optima i rented. It was total junk
i will stick with my acura tsx i got it for $1500
I like the accord but the problem is that i feel like a factory worker in one. yes there everywhere but thats the problem for someone like me
Great. That's why there are so many different shapes, sizes and classes of vehicles to choose from.
How much does this cost in 2023
15-16K
*midsize (silly autocorrect)
no man, i have a 2004 V6 and i honestly think no accord has been that good in handling since 04-05...they have gotten bigger, bloated and duller. New ones looks more subdued. the 04 look like the sportiest accord ever.
I like the taillights on the 06-07 more, but that’s personal preference
@@spearmintlatios9047 lol bro that's a 7 year old comment....i got rid of the accord 5 years ago. now im married w/ kids and got an odyssey :-/
@@opsonization2 I know, suprised to see a response. Odyssey’s are troopers honestly
can you do the dodge challenger?
30k for full packafe?? WOW honda is getting greedy
old & cvt

Honda is still way behind to European cars. My S60 is miles ahead of this car
Just wait until it breaks
+Matthew Hurtado Volvo and break don't mix, volvos don't break
Omarfrom711 oh they do
Difficult to read? How blind are you? If that's the case, should you even be driving in the first place?
ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㄲ
I don't like accord because of the mazda 6.
Uninspiring inside and out. Materials, drive, and looks. E
We used to drive machines which inspire adventure and wonder. No longer the case.
Great editing. In the credits it says Micah does the music too. I recall seeing that in most- if not all of the reviews. Pretty cool.
