Glad you enjoyed it! Some of the audio levels weren't even because we were trying to mute out some of the bad wind noise as it was a windy day yesterday during filming
I just bought a honda accord coupe 2.4 2013 It's great !! Fuel economy Speed Styling Excellent Rear seat space Love the two screen design ( just beautiful ) Feels rich plus it's japenese And good value for money
I'm a previous owner of a 2005 Honda Civic VP which I absolutely LOVED, I sold it and now have a 2013 Honda Accord LX coupe and a 2014 Honda Civic SI sedan, love them both but I get much better gas mileage on my Accord. The drive is so smooth on my accord it's an absolute quiet ride and is sooooo roomie. Regardless of whatever reviews Honda gets I am a Honda owner for life.
Only two things I don’t like are the front seats (a little to wide) & the infotainment system has a super delay to it when my phone is connected... besides that I’m getting the same mileage with ecomode turned on then I am on my 2015 4 cylinder optima on ecomode...
There are a lot of people in the world who simply just need a vehicle to drive from point A to B which is why Honda's and Toyota's sell soo strongly bc of their "reputation" for reliability. The Accord may still look conservative but you have to look beyond that to see just how good this car really is. Every manufacturer can build great cars but we notice which of them is more consistent. It doesn't mean it's biased when that is pointed out. You sound like you show a lot of preference toward GM.
It started really well, the first 3 we had sold in a few days. We now have 4 in stock and with winter quickly approaching they will prob just sit. Out here in Chicago its a spring and summer seller.
Thumbs up on your review! It was in depth, you were very knowledgeable, and to top it off you showed us from a windshield and speedometer review an actual test drive of the vehicle! Most car experts are so busy blurting off at the mouth they forget that we would actually like to see an actual test drive of the car ( One where we get a windshield view of the road as the car is moving.)
We'll only be in Detroit for the press preview days :( Next year we plan to be there for the entire week of the show and we'll be happy to do some meet and greets then. Also, we are planning several public appearances throughout the course of 2013 and we'll be keeping everyone up to date on those.
You've come a long way. So many small things have improved over the years, but you've always had a great of presenting cars, cool that you've kept that through all the change.
EX-L is the trim that includes the HondaLink which is the touch screen audio. It could just be a typo on Honda's website. All models have the 8 inch i-MID display.
Just took delivery of the V6 Coupe with a stick. You really need to test drive this. Its incredible. Not as playful as my wifes SI, but in terms of speed and driving experience, its really something else relative to previous Accords.
Wow. This was great, and I learned so much more about the car I just bought 3 days ago (Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6), so THANKS! I love it so far, and am extremely pleased with the features, the performance, the style and how cute I look in it! Loved your thoroughness in this video. You captured everything, and gave a very unbiased review. Keep up the good work!
Your new videos just keep getting better and better in quality. Just make sure during the test drive portion to shut off one of the mice because it echoes. Keep the great videos coming!
We don't do any bashing, drive the two transmission back to back and you will see that Honda has tuned it better. As for the V6, we simply notice a fact about it, and acknowledge that some people like that and that's ok.
***** much much better than the 2011 exl coupe in gray that I had. the last generation accord was a freakin' tank, too damn heavy. didn't even feel like a Honda at all. I kind of regretted not getting a 2011 civic coupe because of that. This gen accord is much better, much lighter. so far I love the car. the only knocks on the car that I have is that the shifter is hollow plastic and that plastic on the side of the door where you rest your elbow... didn't expect that. modern steel looks good but I wanted the two tone interior so I went with white. I was very close to leasing a brz but suburb financial wont deal on that car for a lease. once the lease is up on this car I think im going to buy a used 350z with a stick. I used to have an s2000 and I miss the rear wheel drive. how's the nav system? is it better than the old Honda nav systems?
hbk1012 i dunno its not as bad as the last gens. i hate cvts with a passion in general. no rubber band effect anymore though so thats nice.and yea the 2012 civic was pretty shitty. i missed out on the 2011 civic. last remnants of the rsx
I LOVE the review too, glad you finally got the chance to do this car. Nice that you did the coupe first, since most other reviewers did the sedan, and neglected the coupe by not bothering to review it. Keep up the good work!
We have yet to drive the V6 model yet, although we have driven a FWD TL with basically the same power-train, The difference is pretty noticeable. We should be looking to test the V6 Accord sometime soon.
If you do not want the two screens, get an EX or LX model as they will not have it. If you do not want the CVT get the 6MT that is also available and cheaper. The V6 upgrade does not cost $8,000, maybe if you are comparing an LX to an EX-L V6 but if you compare EX-L to a V6 model it is roughly $2,000.
I live in South California. Just about the center of Los Angeles. Yes I was told about the Accord's drivability in the snow or slick roads. But since you being an owner and all with the experience of these weather conditions, its good to know. Thank you brother.
Our only issue is we already have a coupe in our long term fleet. Another coupe just doesn't make sense. At the moment, we are looking to trade the fit and lease a new car in the spring. We are looking to find a car that effectively blends sporty performance with room for 4 people. We also want it to have a more civilized ride and lower noise levels. A 2013 Jetta GLI is at the top of the list at the moment since VW has good lease deals.
You are correct, we saw a Canadian model Touring and it has a lighter finish of the rims from the Sport. It really should be the same here in the US, we aren't sure why...
actually I find it heavenly for someone who is a tech nerd but I see how techphobes or old people might find it crazily overwhelming. Having the nav at eye level, yet still have a touchscreen panel in the middle reach, plus to be able to have physical buttons on top of it all is exactly what I wanted as you don't compromise on anything.
We have yet to test the 2013 Malibu with the 2.5 and 2.0T engines. We've only driven the Eco model and that was just a disappointment. We should be adding a Malibu and 2014 Impala to our list to test soon.
One SMALL criticism about the introduction of the video where you stand in front of the car and talk about it: your hands do look a little awkward. You should put them in a different position or have more hand motion. Other than that, fantastic review! You have a lot of enthusiasm that other reviewers don't provide in their videos.
It feels much lighter than last year because Honda switched to an electric power steering this year. It still feels playful and responsive, but we think the Fusion has slightly better steering feel
I just bought one today! I was looking at the genesis coupe also. What sold me was the reliability of a honda. Also, the ride is MUCH better. Still very fun to drive too! Back seat is also very generous for a coupe model.
This is the way to go! excellent review, cool style, just work a little on the audio since sometimes the levels weren't even, but other than that congratulations!
I believe the base EX model has the dual screen also. This is from the base EX model listed on the Honda site: - i-MID with 8-Inch WQVGA (480x320) Screen and Customizable Feature Settings - Audio Touch Screen
Actually, AUX is on every trim level; however, the AUX port is up by your hard key radio presets on EX and below. Once you reach EXL, the touch radio is added and thus AUX is moved
I've got an 08 Acura RL and i'm considering trading it for a new accord coupe V6! I really don't need such a big luxury sedan and want something smaller and sporty! I'm absolutely in love with this new accord coupe!!
i know the manual color on stick offerings are conservative but... at least they are still offering an old school honda gearbox on their renowned 4 cylinder engines. this car is on par, if not EXCEEDED the quality my grandmas old 03 ex-l v6 had, offers all this standard tech and a really stylish design that will age wonderfully. excellent improvement across the line
Those are two very different vehicles. The Charger is a RWD sport sedan with a gas guzzling V8. The Accord is a FWD family sedan. You need to ask yourself, what is more important to you? Also consider how much more money the SRT-8 Charger will cost you up front, on insurance, gas, and speeding tickets.
Haha no problem. When my friend purchased her Accord, we test drove every trim level before settling on the EXL. Got to know each of them quite well haha. Even the LX has an impressive array of features.
Although it may be tempting to compare the two vehicles. Most consumers looking for a new commuter car will not cross shop the two. The Accord is FWD vs RWD. It will be much more comfortable, fuel efficient, and have more standard tech features than a genesis coupe. Most consumer who buy an Accord coupe are just looking for a daily driver that is more stylish. The Genesis coupe will be too harsh and loud and the RWD is a deal breaker for most normal consumers.
I have the 2008 Accord Coupe V6 Ivtec VCM and would not trade mine for this Model, they totally murdered the front of the car Again not even for a straight exchange!!! Mine came with the full body skirt , 19 " wheels, Dual exhaust.
Another feature on the EXL and above models is Forward Collision Warning (as noted by the orange dots at the base of the dash and windshield, in front of the gauges.) I am truly impressed by all that Honda gives you for your money.
Dual exhaust raises weight, cost and long term maintenance. It provides a tiny increase in full throttle horsepower. It primarily appeals to people buying to impress their neighbors-not the Accord's typical customer. You should check out the other brands.
Excellent Excellent review, I absolutely love that car and I like the new intro you should keep it. I test drove that car at the dealership where I first got my 2012 Civic Coupe EX, and I wanted to buy it. I'm going to still pay my Civic off and buy this as either a birthday or christmas present but I'd get it in black with the black & ivory leather. Thanks for the video review of my dream car.
all magazines praised honda's CVT, they promised the best CVT in the market and they delivered!, while nissan's new CVT got praised, magazines classified honda's CVT on top of it... so it is worthy the praise!
Accord Coupe. Just sat in both of them today at their dealerships. The interior for Honda is 20x better & the exterior is just as nice - although different.
There is actually an AUX port on EX, Sport, and LX models. It's just located on the center stack next to the present buttons rather than down below or in the center console.
What most people don't understand is CVT's are much more durable and easier to repair compared to regular automatic transmissions. Yes the power delivery is rubber band like but its something I would deal with.
I swear I love your channel and you're the only one I subbed to and have trust in so can you do a review of the 2013 Honda Accord Sport Sedan? I'm looking for a brand new car and I'm stuck between the sedan and the coupe?
My only wish is that they made the 9th gen look more different than its predecessor. Look at sides of the coupe and sedan and it looks like the last gen. I guess you can't have everything. I'm really glad they improved their tech and quality!
Thank you very much for all the information. Test drove both this past week. Loved both. Is the Genesis your daily driver? No problems so far? I'm getting a mixed bag of pros and cons for this car. But the argument of Hyundai quality/reliability is getting much better than before is winning me over. Honestly I smiled more in the Genesis run than I did in the Accord. Thanks again brother.
A very thorough and informative video, hopefully I'll get to see your Accord coupe V6 review before I get my. I have a 09 Camry se V6 and was thinking of getting the 2012 Se, but decided not to when I went to the local dealer to take a look at it, it's hideous and so, I went down a block to the Honda dealer to browse and like what I saw. I'll be getting the 2013 Accord EX-L coupe V6 in March or April.
Test drove the new accord sport cvt the second day it was on my dealers lot. I fell in love. I wish it had a sunroof but that's about it, it handled very well it has a different tuned suspension, you really don't need much more than a ex with sport rims and dual exhaust in my opinion
Glad you enjoyed it! Some of the audio levels weren't even because we were trying to mute out some of the bad wind noise as it was a windy day yesterday during filming
I just bought a honda accord coupe 2.4 2013
It's great !!
Fuel economy
Speed
Styling
Excellent Rear seat space
Love the two screen design ( just beautiful )
Feels rich plus it's japenese
And good value for money
How do you feel about it today?
Got mine 4 years ago and still love it...if I wasnt starting a family I'd buy another tmrw but sadly they got rid of the coupe model
How’s the screen are they cheap or they look good ?
this dude was walking in front of the car like a serial killer slowing going after its victim
Christian Badillo 6🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😅😆
lol 4real tho😂
7 yrs ago.. he has up his game now.. my Veloster turbo on my channel
😹
Why do you keep talking about the sedan. It's a review on THE COUPE.
Just picked one up over the weekend & so far so good....
Only two things I don’t like are the front seats (a little to wide) & the infotainment system has a super delay to it when my phone is connected... besides that I’m getting the same mileage with ecomode turned on then I am on my 2015 4 cylinder optima on ecomode...
Good job guys, I love the new editing and the opening is very cool. Plenty of info and as always I like your personal point of view in your videos
We were actually mistaken, the AUX port on lower trims is just located in the dash as opposed to that little cubby on this EX-L model.
There are a lot of people in the world who simply just need a vehicle to drive from point A to B which is why Honda's and Toyota's sell soo strongly bc of their "reputation" for reliability. I adore that Accord coupe. My favorite Honda for sure!
Thumbs up on your review! It was in depth, you were very knowledgeable, and to top it off you showed us from a windshield and speedometer review an actual test drive of the vehicle! +1
The best reviewer so far. Because I'm planning to buy a car choosing between Fusion and Accord. This review actually helped me. Thanks.
I love the two screens. It prevents you from switching screens back and forth. Beautiful car.
Just wanted to let you all know before the comments get bombarded you guys are awesome! Love your reviews, keep up the great work!
a 6MT is available, just not on the 4 cyl EX-L models. We wanted to focus on the CVT for this review since it is a first for the Accord.
EX-L is the trim that includes the HondaLink which is the touch screen audio. It could just be a typo on Honda's website. All models have the 8 inch i-MID display.
The Accord Sport Sedan is available with a 6MT and CVT with paddles.
Just took delivery of the V6 Coupe with a stick. You really need to test drive this. Its incredible. Not as playful as my wifes SI, but in terms of speed and driving experience, its really something else relative to previous Accords.
Glad you enjoyed it sir, we are planning to get a video of the 2013 Civic soon :)
Listen to his FART at 9:13 haha! Epic-ly human!
Wow. This was great, and I learned so much more about the car I just bought 3 days ago (Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6), so THANKS! Best car reviews . Always check if you have reviewed a car before I consider purchasing.
I have a 2014 Honda Accord Coupe two-door and I had to say I love the car it's a good looking car and I love everything about the car Honda you rule
this car looks amazing! i love the coupe accord
Better then the new one imo
Your new videos just keep getting better and better in quality. Just make sure during the test drive portion to shut off one of the mice because it echoes. Keep the great videos coming!
I'm addicted to your reviews man.
We don't do any bashing, drive the two transmission back to back and you will see that Honda has tuned it better. As for the V6, we simply notice a fact about it, and acknowledge that some people like that and that's ok.
getting this exact model/color in 3 weeks can't wait

I love how you guys are moving with this channel. Very professional!
I LOVE the review too, glad you finally got the chance to do this car. Nice that you did the coupe first, since most other reviewers did the sedan, and neglected the coupe by not bothering to review it. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! We are planning to get footage of the 2013 Civic as soon as it arrives, hopefully by next month :)

Everything that Honda/Acura does is a winner with the presenter. Honda can do no wrong with him.
This is my first car❤ love this beast
I just picked up a CHERRY 2013 Accord V6MT with 58K miles in San Marino Red. Needless to say, I am freaking STOKED!
You are correct, we saw a Canadian model Touring and it has a lighter finish of the rims from the Sport. It really should be the same here in the US, we aren't sure why...
Black and Tan leather combo is surprisingly AWESOME
actually I find it heavenly for someone who is a tech nerd but I see how techphobes or old people might find it crazily overwhelming. Sometime next month. Its a tad too windy and cold in the area for the rest of this month to film properly, we'll keep you guys posted :)
We have yet to test the 2013 Malibu with the 2.5 and 2.0T engines. We've only driven the Eco model and that was just a disappointment. We should be adding a Malibu and 2014 Impala to our list to test soon.

This is your best review yet!!!!!!
This is the way to go! excellent review, cool style, just work a little on the audio since sometimes the levels weren't even, but other than that congratulations!
Lol never thought i'd see Sofyan praise a CVT. This video layout is nice! little longer than normal but I enjoyed the new camera shots and what not.
I believe the base EX model has the dual screen also. This is from the base EX model listed on the Honda site:
- i-MID with 8-Inch WQVGA (480x320) Screen and Customizable Feature Settings

We will try and get a hold of a Sport 6MT

Yes, the mirrors do fold
finally you guys have it, i've been waiting.
Not on the coupe. Only the Touring sedan in the US has LED headlights with HIDs.
Thank you very much! An update video of the Fit will be coming up soon for its one year review!
Haha no problem. When my friend purchased her Accord, we test drove every trim level before settling on the EXL. Got to know each of them quite well haha. Even the LX has an impressive array of features.
Thank you very much sir! How is this model doing sales wise soo far?

it still has i-Vtec, it just has direct injection as well.
LOVE THE INTRO GUYS!! and the location!! very professional!
the 2013 model still does not have push button start
did Sofyan fart at 9:16
Zuhayr Ali lmaoo
I have the 2008 Accord Coupe V6 Ivtec VCM and would not trade mine for this Model, they totally murdered the front of the car
Again not even for a straight exchange!!!
Mine came with the full body skirt , 19 " wheels, Dual exhaust.
Yes it can, it's just Ford make those features a stand alone option while Honda just includes all of it on the EX-L trim level.

Still rockin' my 4th gen, gotta love hondas
all magazines praised honda's CVT, they promised the best CVT in the market and they delivered!, while nissan's new CVT got praised, magazines classified honda's CVT on top of it... so it is worthy the praise!
Another great video guys :-)
In my opinion, I think the 8th gen coupe looks nicer than the 9th. With the 9th gen, I think the sedan looks nicer than the coupe.
MrChris2Fur totally agree with you on that one
Yes you're right
lol the 8th interior looks like crap.compared to this
Yeah, I saw the inside of the 9th Gen Accord sport and I love the interior. Not sure if its the same for the EX or EX-L model
You completely read my mind! I like the sedan more than the coupe 9th gen but I'm not a big fan of the sedan 8th gen
Have you driven both models yet? And which Jetta are you considering?
Mostly anything in the compact car class makes a great first car for a first time driver
Accord Coupe. Just sat in both of them today at their dealerships. The interior for Honda is 20x better & the exterior is just as nice - although different.
Didn't know that. I never bothered equipping one with those features. Good to know.
One of the best reviewers on RUclips! Clear and detailed. Literally everything I want from a review. Keep it up!
How is steering feel is it better than last year and does it really bring the spirit of classic hondas and great vid
What a shame, our editor in chief would buy that model too
All the trims have the aux port! The input is next to the radio preset buttons on the models with buttons instead of the touch screen.
Excellent review guys. By far your best, and love the car as well.
i have a 99 accord. sofyan you're right. always the go to honda model. wouldn't trade it for anything! well besides another accord
Who cares? All that matters is that he's a great car reviewer.
Hell yah! Been waiting for this! HONDaAA
There is actually an AUX port on EX, Sport, and LX models. It's just located on the center stack next to the present buttons rather than down below or in the center console.

EX-L has a 3 view back-up camera (wide, normal, and top-down). And trajectory is standard in every model, bro!
