Such a great car , I regret not buying an Accord 6-6 Coupe sooner. Better late then never, no regrets at at going and buying a 2017 Coupe 6-6 even if it’s 5 yrs old w/ low miles, all is solid as a rock. These car’s definitely hold their value and seeing as though the no longer make the Coupe then buying the last year’s model with extremely low mileage, you can’t go wrong. Seeing where cars are headed with all these small 4 cyl turbos, hybrids & EV’s , this car down the road kept in beautiful shape will be a gem to have.
congrats bro that is a really rare find! my 2 favorite accords ever made are the 9th gen v6 coupe 6 speed & my other favorite the 10th gen 2.0t 6 speed. i just picked mine up and man the 6speed 2.0t is also crazy rare to find. i know it's a small 4cyl turbo but it's the legendary k20 with a turbo so it is highly respected platform. i've never driven a manual 9th gen v6 coupe i really want to see how much different they feel. but i don't think it gets much better driving either one as a daily.
Honda builds a quality product, much better than Hyundai. Sure the Genesis has more power but that's it. My Accord Sport drives like a dream and my 2001 Accord has 373,000 miles on it. Hyundai nor Kia make nothing that will last that long.
your wrong hyundai and Kia build quality products with a good long warranty and looks better than honda. Honda (Acura) can't even claim a rear wheel drive luxury car with a v8 or much less, a rear wheel drive sports car like kia and hyundai can. There's articles online that kia and hyundai are beating Japanese car in initial quality.
kia and hyundai cars do last long Ive seen them used online with well over 200,000 miles and still running great. why do u think they don't last?? I have know ppl that have kia hyundai and took care of them and they had the car for several years.
Thank God Honda gives us a much better alternative to the civic si. An LSD would be a nice addition to this perfect package, and if the accord ever came in rwd or awd configuration, it would seriously hurt its competition. This Accord coupe with a 6 speed manual is the only few handlful fwd I'd make an effort to seriously buy and keep. Good for u Honda !
Huss Ali LOL can't help it. Love cars too much and being a Mechanical Engineer doesn't help either :P I just love the niche amount of enthusiasts and enthusiast cars we have catered towards us, so I comment under every car video I find has an attractive car for me. Have yourself a good day mate !!
I thought you did an outstanding review on the 2014 Honda Accord. I bought the same exact one in El Paso. Really learned a few things about my new car from your review. Keep up the great work!!!
I always enjoy your reviews, man, as a car enthusiast myself. I'm currently using a V6 Accord Coupe as my daily, while my weekend cars are an Audi S4 and a Nissan 350z Anniversary Edition.
G37 is better then the Honda exl, I test drove a 13 v6 6 speed Accord coupe and I liked it. Then I test drove a 13 G37 sedan and didn't look back, got the G37
Just bought a 2015 Accord EX-L V6 6-Speed to replace my 2003 Accord EX V6 6-Speed. The 2003 was a great car and it's fun to drive. So, I had to have another one just like it. My 2003 has 159,850ish miles on it. I would say I enjoyed its best miles. Now I'm gonna sell it outright. The 2015 is my 4th Accord (also had 1992 and 1998 models) and including two early Acura's it's my 6th Honda. Honda makes excellent long lasting products. Go out and get one!!
I just bought one yesterday. This car isn't really marketed for those who would buy a genesis or some of the other cars in that class. Its target are those of us who want the best of both worlds. Good ride and some fun. There are cars that are faster and have more power and if that's what you car about go for it. But me, this is the perfect sleeper. And yeah...its fun and affordable. I don't have hundreds of dollars to drop on mandatory maintenance. This car has hit Honda's target audience.
I bought a '14 Accord EX-L Auto a little more than a year ago. I've had Hondas before this one and never had any problems with them, but this car has given me mixed emotions. The quality and MPG are great... as to be expected with Honda. I averaged 34 MPG on a long drive to San Antonio and felt like I could drive all the way to El Paso on one tank. The one major disappointment I have with this car is the ride quality. As I was watching the video I could see that the car was shaking stiffly on bumpy surfaces. While it might not see so bad during a test drive, its a whole different experience driving it for 12 months. Honda went overboard in trying to stiffen up the ride in this car and seriously compromised driver/passenger comfort and safety. In other words, this ride is the most painful ride I have every experienced. I've driven sports cars before and none of them were this shocky but actually out-handled the Accord in tight corners. I understand the need for tight handling but when it causes the occupants pain then something just isn't right with the engineering of the suspension and wheels/tires. If I could go back to when I bought this car I would have chosen one with a better ride like the 4 door with 16 or 17 inch wheels. Considering how bad the ride is I am surprised that Honda would offer 19" wheels... something that would degrade ride quality even further. btw the Lane Departure Warning system can be turned off with the LDW button on the left hand panel near the driver's door. On models without Navi there is a second knob to the right of the radio screen that controls the menus as well as tuning stations. The models without Navi are obviously missing the Navi controls but have a storage pocket with door instead. In two full-tank tests, one with Eco on and one with Eco off, I averaged about the same MPG either way. This is to be expected as it takes a given amount of HP to maintain 60 MPH for example, so with Eco on 3 cylinders would take twice as much fuel as the same 3 cylinders would with Eco off, so I leave my Eco off all the time.
This dude predicted quite a bit! Adding led taillights standard, adding led headlights as an option, better infotainment (all of this for 2016) and completely getting rid of the coupe for 2018, damn. Glad I just picked up a 2017 coupe accord.
A bit stuck right now, looking to upgrade between, this v6 accord, g37/370z, 3.8 genesis, or a lexus is350.. college student, want lower repair costs coming from a BMW, that is why I have included the accord
I am a college student, and I was picking very similar cars to what you were thinking about. I ended up buying a 2013 Honda Accord V6 Coupe just because I am in college and I cannot afford to have the car break down on me.
Javier Delgado It has been 6 days and gas is decent (mainly because its my first V6 and I occasionally rip it lol) but on the 50km commute to school I average around 8.5L/100km. Other than that, winter tires are a MUST if it snows where you're at, and I'm looking into them right now. Easily going to cost me $1000. Those are the only two things that are rough, they're not really problems though. But the car is very smooth, comfortable, and the features such as the right side camera are amazing.
Such a rad car in this config! I was lucky to find a CHERRY condition, one owner 2013 V6MT with 58k miles in San Marino red. I LOVE THIS FREAKING CAR!!!
Mr_Rhymes how do you like it so far? I’m also looking at the same exact one, only it’s a 2013. 70k miles for 16k CAD which is 14k U.S. how did you get such a great deal?
One of my friends has one of these and it's always a good giggle whenever we ride together in it especially when VTEC hits. I'm hoping to join him in an 06-07 V6 6MT sedan.
Great, thorough review. I drove the EX-L V6 sedan and 6-speed coupe back to back. Coupe had a much choppier ride, no VCM and less utility so I bought the sedan. LDW can be defeated, BTW. It falses constantly driving through PA's ubiquitous road construction/ lane shifts since the system relies on the painted lines on the road.
Interesting that you said the manual shaves a second off of the 0-60 time over the automatic. Most of the "big car mag" reviews I've read rate the automatic at about the same in 0-60, and some rate it (perhaps inexplicably?) faster by about .1. FWIW the automatic has a slightly higher compression ratio (10.5:1) than the manual (10.0:1).
Two different car classes bro, they each address different needs. Accord is really a two door sedan. If u want straight up performance get the civic si. But it's a compact. But for drive and handling that's what u need. Not a larger, heavier sedanish car
+Josh Remnant i think hes talking about what you buy an si for. mostly for upgrading. this accord is impressive. and so will my 2014 si once i get my plr turbokit system
Not so good Gamer the price is almost within my sights 5 years later. Haha new to me , possibly. I have also considered the Chevy SS with manual, Cadillac variant as well. The SHO doesn’t catch me. The Chrysler 300 is interesting. As is the Challenger . Also the Genesis line is nice. They don’t do many manual transmission much. This is a nice car , it is a Red line and has the Honda rattle. I hear the dash or something shaking. It’s not a Accra . Still nice
imo the 8th gen accord coupe looked better, I like the big car and call me crazy but I absolutly fell in love with the 8th gen button cluster rather than the 9th gen touchscreen, dont get me wrong it looks cleaner but the 8th gen interior had so much more character
I always beat myself up for not getting a manual. I do almost all city driving and I had an S-10 manual and got tired of getting in and out of gear for the 1.5 hr I spend driving a day. My S-10 didn't scoot like this Accord though! In the end I'm happy with my V6 couple AT. The automatic feels very very nice shifting and I can't even tell when i does shift. I get almost zero engine vibration and gives me somewhat of a luxury feel. The paddle shifters are just silly lol. Nice video, and thanks for making me feel like a doop for not getting the stick haha jk
So, I had a 3g 2008 Acura TL (Not a type s), and I just got in a bad accident and it was tboned, I have a strong feeling they are gonna total it out and I am seeing what car is next to consider. I am an Acura guy but i want a coupe, so I really am considering this model. Would I be satisfied with a v6 automatic accord coupe?
+BrandonWilliams510 I have one dude they come with padle shifting! its sweet and its pretty fast, it sure puts me in my seat! Btw Honda and Acura are the same so you will not be disappointed in the quality of the v6 coupe.
+John Navarro whats up bro. So My Acura was totaled out. So I did listen man and I bought a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe. Man I am in love with this thing!
Spoke to a Honda engineer not too long ago and told him I wanted an Accord V6 6MT. He said its referred to around his office as "The best car we currently make"
Hey Sofyan, Great video! You actually inspired me to buy one. My EXL v6 manual coupe has a factory installed mod package called HFP (Honda Factory Performance) which adds different mouldings, a special spoiler and 19" rims. They also modify the suspension and lower the car a bit. This is all done at the dealer as an accessory option for about $5k. For your next Honda review, could you ask the dealer to provide an HFP model? I'd be interested to hear your opinion on its value and effect on performance. Thanks again for great reviews! -Matt
Think id chose a 2013 genesis coupe over the accord coupe. Accord v6 is nice but not 30k nice. The 3.8 genesis is roughly the same price with about 50more hp. I guess the accord wins for mpg.
That 70 horsepower difference in the Genesis coupe doesn't make it that much faster. The Hyundai hits 60 mph in 5.2 secs versus 5.4 in the Honda. This Accord is also able to keep up with a G37 coupe (or Q60). Only a 435i or S5 will outrun this "sleeper" 6-speed Accord.
2theRedline "flies back down" i never ever doubted the accord V6 was capable i know its a wolf in sheep skin butt, and yes thats a big a$$ butt, its just the price. i know finding one use around 24-26k would not be too difficult or even cheaper, but new 30-33k i mean the 3.8 new is around 29k new (now that they discontinued the 2.0T)
TVinmyEye Well to be fair, the Accord coupe looks miles better than the Genesis coupe. The Genesis may have power but after having test driven both cars, i would pick a FWD Accord over a RWD Genesis coupe because the manual transmission in the GC feels like crap. Its a horrible and laggy manual transmission for someone who is very good at driving standard. We all know Honda makes the best manual transmissions so I won't go into detail on that. The Vtec engine feels more peppy and is more emotional and rev-happy than the GC's 3.8, which btw feels like a lazy V8 (almost) and the GC drives much heavier than when equipped with the 2.0T. The 2.0T would be the engine I would go for just for mods sake and lightweight. I know looks are subjective but seriously, how many people ACTUALLY think the 1st or the 2nd gen GC coupe (which looks even worse) is better looking than its competition? So with all the test driving and my personal preferences, i'd declare the Accord's price tag of 33K as valid. My money will go to the better looking and more fun to drive car, and besides I live in Canada, and we get all the goodies on the Accord coupe. I will say though, that the RWD GC is more fun if you like sliding all over the place and want a "somewhat" better handling car than the Accord, and the GC has nicer steering feel. Maybe Sofyan can chime in as well on this, but i wasn't too happy with my GC test drive of both the 2.0T and 3.8 in R-spec trims.
647killa well considering that the genesis has only been in the market for 5 years and has gain a sizable popularity and aftermarket is pretty remarkable. Given that it's hyundai 1st attempt at making a "sporty" vehicle is admirable. so given that, of course the genesis would need a fair amount of work. i reckon the 3rd generation or i guess (2nd since the 13 were merely a refresh) well be something more substantial. honestly i like the accord, it was actually one of my considerations when looking for a coupe, along with the frs, but hey i guess im all for the underdog here. :raises hand:, i thought the genesis is an extremely attractive car, definitely has presence on the road.
Honda accord coupes are the most under rater gorgeous looking cars you can buy. the body style is so sleek and looks so nice.it also has endless number of aftermarket parts for it! its a shame the coupes were stopped being made. that's why i treat mine like gold, I love my 2012 accord coupe its deff. my favorite car I have ever driven it is such a nice looking car and is so reliable day in and day out, #8thgenaccordcoupe !
It's annoying in heavy traffic. My current car has dash and mirror lights that I refer to as needed. The beeping just creates a distracted environment if you're used to using visual indicators. I would be very surprised if there's not a way to get into the settings and turn the beeps off.
***** Then stay in your lane and maybe you wouldn't be hearing too much of the beeping These things were not built to annoy people; it's to keep stupid drivers focused.
I almost bought one but where my elbows rest wasn’t comfortable at all. The left goes into the door handle and the right I have to reach back to touch the armrest. Still a really fun car to drive.
Probably already mentioned somewhere in the comments but you can turn off the Lane Departure warning system - there's a button to do so on the left hand side, underneath the "ECON" button.
maybe it can, but in the long run, i'm pretty sure that turbo is going to get coked up with gunk. We have some horrible gasoline in the west here, so even if my car took regular, i'd at least put in 91 octane for reliability sake.
I have the 2013 2.0t for a year now and I use regular gas and the only downside is that I lose around 15 hp. Hyundai says it's ok to use either and the car has 5 year warranty so I'm not even worried if anything happens to my engine.
I don't want to be rude, but I really wish you would go back to the way you were reviewing before. The talking for 5 mins is just kind of boring. I liked the very in depth reviews you did previously.
Didn't say it wasn't... Just liked when he would go through all of the small details ie unlocking, keyless go, etc, while talking instead of talking for 5 mins and showing pictures of the car.
Because you can keep the criticism's for yourself. He is the only person that I have come across who said what he's said which means he the only that wants something changed. I hate it when people act like critics when I bet they couldn't do better, and why do you need to defend a grown man?
I never comment back to people like you who seems to have no time other than scroll down the comments page and argue with people, but it's called feedback. Most people like it when doing things like this. To reiterate my point again, all I was saying was that I liked the way he was reviewing previously. No harshness, being as polite as possible, which is why I added "not trying to be rude"
Very informative...I'd probably go for the 6-speed manual over the auto but not totally for sure yet. I have 3 much older Accords--2 are 5-speeds and the one I daily drive is an automatic. I miss the sportier feeling of the 5-speed but don't miss the constant dealing w/ a manual like you'd encounter in stop and go city driving.
I like your review but damn lol.. i wish you would slow down a tad! Speedy Gonzalez with the talking... anyway i bought the 14' pearl white V6, couldn't be happier... but, like he said, no 6spd in that color config.. who cares though, love it the same... plus auto gets VCM, manual doesn't.
They are pretty much the same speed. If your a bad ass shifter on a course or something the manual would obviously edge you but for everyday street driving quarter miles and stuff like that they are virtually the same speed. The automatic has an option sport mode which acts as a manual and you have paddle shifters to up shift or down shift.
no idea. According to zerto60times.com the 2006 is the fastest. they have on record. Except for the mugen which they show is 0.1 second faster. It could be a number of things. Driver. Gearing. Weight.

congrats bro that is a really rare find! my 2 favorite accords ever made are the 9th gen v6 coupe 6 speed & my other favorite the 10th gen 2.0t 6 speed. i just picked mine up and man the 6speed 2.0t is also crazy rare to find. i know it's a small 4cyl turbo but it's the legendary k20 with a turbo so it is highly respected platform. i've never driven a manual 9th gen v6 coupe i really want to see how much different they feel. but i don't think it gets much better driving either one as a daily.
Buying one in 2021 and this review is still awesome
I have know ppl that have kia hyundai and took care of them and they had the car for several years.
ewjomega agreed! Thank you for saying that!
Alex Razmjookhah sure Kia and Hyundai now makes good cars however most people still prefer Honda and Honda still holds their place in motorsports
@@alexrazmjookhah6195 maybe kia needs the warranty. Those things fall apart. Newer ones are better but not honda quality
Awesome review. Just bought this car in automatic for my son turning 16. Got it with 50k miles. Thanks
Bought one a year ago, absolutely fantastic!
Bruh you are everywhere
Huss Ali LOL can't help it. Love cars too much and being a Mechanical Engineer doesn't help either :P I just love the niche amount of enthusiasts and enthusiast cars we have catered towards us, so I comment under every car video I find has an attractive car for me. Have yourself a good day mate !!
No worries man I am a MEC engineer too so ya I get ya! Nice day to you as well lol

WELL SAID!!
I thought you did an outstanding review on the 2014 Honda Accord. I bought the same exact one in El Paso. Really learned a few things about my new car from your review. Keep up the great work!!!
Really appreciate the knowledge of Honda/Acura vehicles from current and past times that you incorporate in your video.
actually sounds pretty good!!!! I'm tired of my '08 Civic and NO POWER.... looking at a 15' Accord V6 Cpe
Did you get the 15’ V6?? I’m getting mine a week from today and I can’t wait!!
@@Samuel-H nice I'm getting my 16 coupe v6 on two weeks, waiting on delivery
I always enjoy your reviews, man, as a car enthusiast myself. I'm currently using a V6 Accord Coupe as my daily, while my weekend cars are an Audi S4 and a Nissan 350z Anniversary Edition.
Very cool, nice choice of cars
@@dairtobefalco52 my accord got totaled :( but now using a G37 in its place lol
@@GregDZ33 Infinities are cool, did u also get the coupe model ?
@@dairtobefalco52 ended up with the sedan. It’s lighter, which is cool!
Mine with 200k miles still running very good.
Great car for an affordable price. Lots of fun from that V6 and Manual transmission
That look at 11:49 had you in the zone when you switched gears. I laughed pretty good. You're videos are all great man, keep it up!
exactly what i thought! lmao
It’s because This Accord v6 manual is pretty aggressive that’s why his face , I own one of this amazing machine
This would be my first choice for a daily driver
16:52 From what I've read the manual and automatic V6 Accords have the same 0-60 times.
just bought a 14 with auto trans. san marino red. came with a rocker and front facia kit. just spot on
On the left hand side near the ECON button, there's a button that turns off Lane Departure warning *****
I've watched them all. This is definitely your best car review to date. Keep it up! 👍
Best review I have seen for this car, very detailed and thought out. Thank you!!!!
Yes you can shut off the LDW! Check at 4:28 you see the LDW button under the green econ ? ;) Great video but a little mistake here.
Javier Delgado either v6 accord or 3.8 genesis ☺
I am a college student, and I was picking very similar cars to what you were thinking about. I ended up buying a 2013 Honda Accord V6 Coupe just because I am in college and I cannot afford to have the car break down on me.
how has it been?
good choice Hondas are pretty reliable cars !
I LOVE THIS FREAKING CAR!!!
still have my 05 EX Accord coupe v6. I wish they still made them. I’m keeping mine till it dies
Is it still alive
tito neo ...nope. The timing belt broke in February this year. If I would have changed it it would still be running. 😢
I have a 2015 accord v6 coupe and many of my friends or family are shocked when they see how quick it is
it's a sleeper bro!!
You can turn off the FCW and LDW in the Canadian models so I'm pretty sure you can in the us models too.
This should be my very first car in 12th grade.
just pick up this exact model for like 12 grand with 70k miles. Not too bad and its my 1st car :D
I have one also...be aware they have starter issues...tsb:16-002
Mr_Rhymes how do you like it so far? I’m also looking at the same exact one, only it’s a 2013. 70k miles for 16k CAD which is 14k U.S. how did you get such a great deal?
i got mine 2 years ago at 30k miles for 19k. im loving it more every day!
area859 it’s only $80 a starter 😂 easy to replace your self...
How could you afford that? Lol not shaming, just curious.
One of my friends has one of these and it's always a good giggle whenever we ride together in it especially when VTEC hits. I'm hoping to join him in an 06-07 V6 6MT sedan.
The Accord Coupe, 6-speed manual, V6 engine...gone :( this was the last year for exciting Accords!
The manual transmission isn't dead yet.
ATX-CVPI obviously, it’s just the V6 that has unfortunately been removed.
aaand now no more accord manuals
even though the 02 accord isnt in the same ballpark as this car, I absolutely loved the heavier feeling steering wheel, nice firm wheel
I lusted over this car for the past year or so but the Mustang V6 is now calling my name...
BasedNeel The mustang is also 10grand cheaper, plus its rear wheel drive.
Gay
The mustang is also gonna start breaking down after a week
eg sedan > this accord. LOL
@@robertlopez9393 boom, roasted
The accord has a very nice design for a family sedan, great with the gunmetal grey color too, it's pretty sporty looking and aggressive, awesome car!
LOL i just bought one today. I love it
If I had to buy a FWD car brand new this is the exact car I would get! Right down to the gearbox and color
Is that a sound of Nissan GTR in the beginning? Whatever that is, it sounds AWESOME!
I want one for my first car, but they're so darn hard to find!
Honda , no matter what is the most reliable car in a manual. Even if you take care of them or you don't , they are strong. Honda for life !
Interesting that you said the manual shaves a second off of the 0-60 time over the automatic. Most of the "big car mag" reviews I've read rate the automatic at about the same in 0-60, and some rate it (perhaps inexplicably?) faster by about .1. FWIW the automatic has a slightly higher compression ratio (10.5:1) than the manual (10.0:1).
yeah not sure where he got that info from. the new 6 spd autos in the accord are much improved
Great to hear the old school Honda Starter in this Accord Coupe
i love your reviews! do you recommend this over the civic si? and which is easier to drive for a new manual driver
Two different car classes bro, they each address different needs. Accord is really a two door sedan. If u want straight up performance get the civic si. But it's a compact. But for drive and handling that's what u need. Not a larger, heavier sedanish car
+poloblueboy the accord v6 is faster in a straight line than the civic si. si does 0-60 in 6.2 and accord v6 6mt does 0-60 in 5.4
+Josh Remnant i think hes talking about what you buy an si for. mostly for upgrading. this accord is impressive. and so will my 2014 si once i get my plr turbokit system
Wow that V6 sound is pure love...
Would this be a good first car? Having trouble on what car to pick😅😅😅
Ruben Monroy hell yea
Best first car you cam possibly get if you're an enthusiast
Im looking for first car too its not too expensive. It will last unil o need a new one
Please review the 2015 STi!!
I love your reviews. Best on the Internet easily.
The starter sounds nearly old school. +1 for that. Love that sound.
Please review the 4th Generation Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 6MT!
I would love to have one of these new Accord Coupes. Looking to get a 7th gen Accord V6 Coupe 6MT in a few months though.
+John Navarro im going to post a video of it on my youtube soon
BrandonWilliams510 sweet dude! good for you! I told you its worth it lol
Spoke to a Honda engineer not too long ago and told him I wanted an Accord V6 6MT. He said its referred to around his office as "The best car we currently make"
Honda accord coupe or VW GTI?
That was my choice in 2014. Chose the Accord for reliability.
Hey Sofyan,
Great video!
Make that 70hp more :flies away:
This car can handle anything.
Does this accord come with an lsd transmission?
Nope :(
Honda accord coupes are the most under rater gorgeous looking cars you can buy. the body style is so sleek and looks so nice.it also has endless number of aftermarket parts for it! its a shame the coupes were stopped being made. that's why i treat mine like gold, I love my 2012 accord coupe its deff. my favorite car I have ever driven it is such a nice looking car and is so reliable day in and day out, #8thgenaccordcoupe !
You can't turn the beeping off for the collision and lane departure systems?
Seriously, Honda? WTF?
***** well who else will alert you before side swiping a passing driver? lol
You can turn of LDW but not FCW
+Ed Biscane What's wrong with FCW? It's warned me of a rear end collision a few times when I wasn't paying attention
It's annoying in heavy traffic. My current car has dash and mirror lights that I refer to as needed. The beeping just creates a distracted environment if you're used to using visual indicators.
I would be very surprised if there's not a way to get into the settings and turn the beeps off.
***** Then stay in your lane and maybe you wouldn't be hearing too much of the beeping
These things were not built to annoy people; it's to keep stupid drivers focused.
I almost bought one but where my elbows rest wasn’t comfortable at all. The left goes into the door handle and the right I have to reach back to touch the armrest. Still a really fun car to drive.
Shit your clutch dumps are brutal haha. Love it.
Just bought this exact model today. I'm looking forward to what type of mods I'm going to do to it.. I'm super excited 😊
The auto is actually 0.1 seconds faster according to most websites
The 2013 auto v6 is what I have. I prefer the MT, but the auto is faster, gets over 32 mpg easily. I love it.
Probably already mentioned somewhere in the comments but you can turn off the Lane Departure warning system - there's a button to do so on the left hand side, underneath the "ECON" button.
genesis coupe can use both regular and premium gas.
maybe it can, but in the long run, i'm pretty sure that turbo is going to get coked up with gunk. We have some horrible gasoline in the west here, so even if my car took regular, i'd at least put in 91 octane for reliability sake.
647killa genesis coupe can come in a v6 as well..not just a turbo
647killa The turbo needs premium. The V6 is fine on regular. Thats what I use.
I have the 2013 2.0t for a year now and I use regular gas and the only downside is that I lose around 15 hp. Hyundai says it's ok to use either and the car has 5 year warranty so I'm not even worried if anything happens to my engine.
KILLERDOWN7 wow, wait a go buddy !! Gotta love them warranties lol.
This car looks good to boot. Good review on a great car.
Rip J35. Hate the 4cyl turbo in the new accord
The car is beautiful. Never go wrong with Honda
Good luck finding one . 1% of all accord v6 were 6mt
As always, another excellent review!
I don't want to be rude, but I really wish you would go back to the way you were reviewing before. The talking for 5 mins is just kind of boring. I liked the very in depth reviews you did previously.
Its called a reviewing the car moron, and this a really good REVIEW!!!
Didn't say it wasn't... Just liked when he would go through all of the small details ie unlocking, keyless go, etc, while talking instead of talking for 5 mins and showing pictures of the car.
OKC FAN The guy was polite. What's wrong with you emotionally that you feel the need to call him a moron?
These are getting very expensive now
I’m going to go look at one soon 154,000 miles this hopefully will be my first car I purchase by myself at 19
I like your review but damn lol.. i wish you would slow down a tad! Speedy Gonzalez with the talking... anyway i bought the 14' pearl white V6, couldn't be happier... but, like he said, no 6spd in that color config.. who cares though, love it the same... plus auto gets VCM, manual doesn't.
I wish they would've put a v6 in the accord sport sedan becuz I would get that with the manual over this
From what I gather, the manuel is not much if at all faster than the auto
They are pretty much the same speed. If your a bad ass shifter on a course or something the manual would obviously edge you but for everyday street driving quarter miles and stuff like that they are virtually the same speed. The automatic has an option sport mode which acts as a manual and you have paddle shifters to up shift or down shift.
Excellent review as always sofyan! Keep it up bud.
If this is the sportiest car Honda builds now then what happened to Honda?
+pontiacGXPfan Well the S2000 wasn't even as fast. Except the Mugen edition is 0.1 seconds faster. Other than that only the 2006 s2000 matches it.
+Gregory Kanniard It is Honda's fastest 4cyl car ;)
+Gregory Kanniard Why just the 2006 Honda s2k 2004 and up all had the same hp and tq
no idea. According to zerto60times.com the 2006 is the fastest. they have on record. Except for the mugen which they show is 0.1 second faster. It could be a number of things. Driver. Gearing. Weight.
yea. Acura was better....now it's a joke
Man, that motor sounds INCREDIBLE! Never get sick of that. 11:41
