So is that insulation at the back of the opening? Some critter could just push it aside. Why not put a backing on it to prevent animals from entering the building where their waste and dead bodies will create a mess?

@Striker885 bats are good for pollinating plants dispersing seeds getting rid of bugs I was told they have been in decline for the last 70 years So uk residents are encouraged to put bat boxes or bricks in

@Striker885 rabies yes they can carry it in the UK but very slim chance of catching it in the UK Vampire bats, I'm sure that's America, definitely not the UK
