- TAS on BIT.TRIP FLUX Epiphany (Tool Assisted Superplay/Speedrun (some call it superplay, some call it speedrun... so there's both xD))
This is for those who want to see perfect on every BIT.TRIP level, because it's somewhat irritating for me when it's not perfect.
I c u but u no c me. :D - Игры

@@user-mp4xd4tn8l I was making Mario reference But that works too

Never mind I forgot I was on my alt
I keep telling myself EPIPHANY, PERCEPTION and CATHARSIS when I feel broken down... But now I see that the world is mean but nice and has meaning at the same time. These bit.trip series all taught me something and filled me with such determination to stay strong and make a few changes. I used to be depreesed. Thinking of commander video always helps me. I know this is just a game but to me... This means so much more. Now I'm fine cause of the bit.trip series. And plus... THEY ADDED BIT.TRIP RUNNER 2 AND 3!!! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Honestly, BIT.TRIP feels more like an alternate reality stuck inside of you. Each game comes into play in the real world for your life. Each game of the saga is related to all of us, our main reality, our normal lives, it’s what makes BIT.TRIP more than a series of rhythm games, it shows each step in life from a new perspective.
I could go on and on about BIT.TRIP being connected to us or how we are Commander Videos but we’re all seen as humans much like how everyone sees blood as red when it’s actually blue.
Overall, I have to say that BIT.TRIP is the closest saga of games and other media to be related to reality. It’s safe to say that BIT.TRIP is our world from a new perspective, a new point of view, hence the reason why I feel attached to it more than any other piece of gaming history.
@@TheGoldNShadow Dude I can totally relate to this

Very cool. Love the violin part!

Dawn Neegan Bass or Launchpad.
You Meant The Whole Meta Mode?
META
9:36 I just realize that this part is like the melody of Transition's Boss from Bit Trip Beat on his fight
am i glad the TAS beat this level. the PC version of EPIPHANY cannot be beaten. like no bullshit it literally is unbeatable. i beat the game on 3DS and Wii but not on PC since theres a stupid error that makes the boss pixel fucking perfect in denying you. good luck trying the GROWTH tactic people.
Great job on the perfect run. Before my Wii decided to not be able to read any discs anymore, I would play FLUX in the hard difficulty because I find it easy to play, and I was aiming to be as near perfect as I could be (without the bonus beats) but some of the harder patterns made me miss some no matter what I did.
2 wiis and one Wii U had the same problem. NETHER
However the Wii U couldn’t read discs because of me putting a sd card in it (I was little at the time) HYPER
But the 2 wiis were unable to read discs expect an EXTRA one which was a white wii in my sisters room. GIGA
And now I have a red Wii which turns into META.
Stage 4 reminds me of Christmas
I know everything about him... And I've been through all that. I understand Everything
Me too.
LIFE IS SIMPLY.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! welcome back, and goodbye soon
Just waiting on my internet's very slow upload speed. ^-^
Me when quarantine: k just some time and i can go outside [EXTRA]
Me when virtual class: fine not too much difficulty [Ultra]
me when 2021: i want my friends and im too lazy for homework, i need to talk to my crush [nether]
I didn’t know that bits were a drug
Lmao yep! Brings you on one hell of a trip
This game also gives me Rez vibes for some ungodly reason
Ohh, I’ve never heard of that game
@@zorgot6956 i see the BEAT here...
I only just realized, but Bit trip Beat and Flux look a lot like ez2catch as well
So I have only played runner, beat and... dang it I forgot the name. The one with the plus and the laser beams.
Is this just the same as beat but mirrored?
And with some new added features?
Kraken King CORE.
Gameplay wise, yeah. Pretty much the same as BEAT, but mirrored.
its CORE
I wonder what the instrument’s for each mode’s when the paddle hit the beats are.
NETHER: Monotone 8 bit beep
HYPER: Soft digital beep
MEGA: Somewhat of an airy banjo sound
SUPER: Glockenspiel like
ULTRA: Electronic flute
EXTRA: Electronic keyboard
GIGA: Acoustic guitar
META: Violin
@@spootymaniacs I think Megas octave piano but muffled or some sort
Do you have an explanation for how this was possible? Like a write up of how you did this? It’s so fucking cool!
@@user-mp4xd4tn8l No, this is a TAS. It's in the title.
@@user-mp4xd4tn8l I like how confident you look despite being horribly wrong.
Nice...
What Goes After Meta?
*TERA*
@@user-mp4xd4tn8l well shit I never noticed that before
@@user-mp4xd4tn8l So basically, the design of the ending "level" is some kind of malformed Nether? Because that would make sense, since after you fail in Nether on the normal levels all it does is restart you from the checkpoint with no sign of death or anything. But this form, everything eventually goes blinding white, and after that, there's a Game Over screen shown, but instead of the loud colorful screen from the previous games, it's black over a white background, so basically that signifies CV's soul being put up to freedom, as he is dead, what caused his death is gone, and he has finished his journey, so he's finished and going to his afterlife. Finishing his timeline, and this story, and ending every last piece of what happened in the previous games. This can also signify that it's possible that when Cartharsis ends, that's CV boosting up past all of the other possible to hit levels, and he is at the level that can only be hit at true freedom, which is Game Over, and this is where his story ends.
S____ G___ Damn, still learning little subtle things that I’ve never thought about before. This game series really is amazing.
OMG YES
@@user-mp4xd4tn8l oh my god this is so true!
Did you have any issues when hitting Giga mode? I was giving this a spin the other day and once I hit GIGA the paddle just disappeared... the trailing effects on certain beats and the borders of the HUD on the top and bottom are also missing. Haven't been able to figure out how to get them to appear.
Yikes, were you playing on the Steam version?
No, on dolphin ver 5.0. Been messing around to determine the unlockables criteria and had a theory that needs confirmation, requiring a perfect score on a level in FLUX. I've got a save state sitting right before I hit GIGA mode, and have tweaked just about every setting trying to get that missing texture to load to no avail.
Damn.. that's weird, no I've never had that problem. I'm also a giant dolphin noob, I have no idea what would be causing it
I’ve got a different computer now after not having one for a month, I download Dolphin and got this game’s ISO again, and I still don’t have a problem with the Giga mode on Flux. If you’re still having that problem, what is your settings?
I do too, but the paddle is normal, trails on beats don't vanish, and the letters for modes have a magenta to white gradient and only tilt to the left.
I hate that there is a sound desync at the start
same like wtf 💀
Yyeeeesss
:D
steam version on mac is bugged but the boss is beatable. i wonder, is it still not fixed yet?
Not just mac, steam version in general is bugged. I remember sitting at the boss for an hour and had no luck xD
@@zorgot6956 on the mac version the only bug there is, is the beats that enlarge and shrink. the hitbox on them also enlarges and shrinks, giving you far more points on the mac version. the boss is easier to beat on the mac version as it's not as harsh with how fast it tracks the beat that comes back to them.
Ohhh, oof. I’m sad that they never really got around to fixing these bugs.
Why do you sit in the title screen for so long not judging just asking
Just to let the music play out for whoever wanted to listen to it, like me at the time I guess, and I think I continue it after it loops. I think I wanted to do that because it was part of the “experience” for me and this was supposed to like “set the mood” I guess for me

Zorgot Like what did you use to make the paddle so still and moving perfectly.
The Wiimote TAS input option within Dolphin
These levels are wayyy looong
I would imagine that that's the point of a challenging game.
@Jonathan Perez That makes me want to play the bit trip series again, but sadly my Wii refuses to read discs and I'm thinking of fixing it eventually. Right now I don't have the proper tools to do so.
