Awesome vid! I shoot at airshows and currently have an SL3 which isn't great at all especially for focusing on the fast subject... I saw the R7 as well and was wondering if you would choose a r7 or a 90d better for video or another canon camera that would go with my 70-300 usm II ( don't mind buying an adapter)

I just saw this video, and I gotta say I just got a 5dm4 less than the 90d price. Plus, 90d built like a tank means weather proof? Just asking
5Dmk4 has better weather sealing and has a magnesium alloy body. The 90D does not come with an alloy body.
Weather sealing in general is kind of a farce as there is no official IP rating. Only a few brands such as Pentax do that.
Best value for money is 2nd hand PRO gear, I recently bought a 1DX in good condition, its an AMAZING camera still as long as video is not primary purpose. You can get a good copy for under 500 EUR and I still happily shoot paid jobs with this and clients never complained even once... its fabulous still (and if it breaks for some reason I will get another one without hesitation)

Not exactly the same sensor though. The 90D and M6ii share the exact same one.
Keep in mind that the R7 has a faster readout speed and somewhat better dynamic range and less noise, although negligible.

Can be found for a similar price as the 90D if you look in the right places.
