Not too exciting for me. The Z8 is still better than all prospective models. I am waiting for all these models to hit the market so that I can buy another Z8 at a lower price than today.
Which camera ? The one you didn't mentioned, a very compact ZF with NO video capabilities , NO PASAM , No BS programs , NO zillions burst rate etc.......a true camera in fact !
Interesting if it s not only dreams… the z90 is probably the most expected … but dedicated Zlenses for apsc is lacking a lot. Fornunately Viltrox, sigma are filling this gap. A Z7iii with 61mpix would be a good concurrent to A7r5 but will be very expensive. Finally an double évolution of the z9 to z9ii and z9 h would be a good response to Sony. The only issue is that to protect a little the new and expensive Z6iii these new models risk to be very expensive… but if this means a lot of z8 on the second market… I love this :).

DX is Nikon's red-headed stepchild in the mirrorless realm. There are so few DX Z lenses (and no good ones) that to stay Nikon native you'd have to use the Z FX lenses anyway, which defeats much of the purpose of shooting with the smaller DX bodies to begin with.
@@paulmckenna5224 That's exactly I would like to have a Z90. All my Nikkor Glasses will be used on it including the amazing F mount glasses and it will be "magnified" to 1.5X. Who cares about purchasing DX glasses for DX bodies. I have the D6, D850, D500, Z9 and Z6. Now, a Z90 with a new 33Mp sensor would be great!
Meanwhile, those of us oldies who've spent a lot of money on Nikon DSLRs and lenses over the past few decades are now not only neglected but ignored. Worth keeping and using our old gear or should we trade it all in?
Traded my D750 and D7500 plus all lenses for a Z6ii and some lenses. The Z Nikon glass is just on another level. Don't regret that decision, especially with more and more lenses coming out almost every month. (Third party included) Lighter and smaller is a bonus too.
Too late for Z90. I have replaced my D500 by Z8 year ago. I just wish FW update for Z8 for RAW pre-shot and some AF performance update specially for bird AF. It's good but it can be even better.. Any rummors regarding Z8 II with 60 Mpix Sony sensor? That's not a benefit for me now but I'm just courious..
It sounds like you're quite invested in your Z8! As of now, there haven't been any official announcements regarding a Z8 II or details about a 60 MP sensor. Rumors in the camera community often circulate, but they can vary widely in credibility. Regarding firmware updates for the Z8, camera manufacturers frequently release updates to improve features like autofocus performance and additional functionalities. Keeping an eye on Nikon’s official website or following photography news outlets can help you stay updated on any new releases or firmware updates for your camera. If bird AF performance is a priority, it may be worthwhile to experiment with settings or techniques to optimize its current capabilities until any official updates are released.
@@paulmckenna5224 Maybe, but I think they need at least a flagship DX to fill an important sales gap in the brand's positioning at the market. Let's hope for the better!
Well.. Many "what-moments" watching this video. There will be Z9H and Z9ll with like 20 megapixels??I will not be surprised if these specs are not true. Nice to watch Nikon cameras anyways. Hopefully next Z9 is Z9X and not Z9H🤔 Z9X as a name just looks cool but Z9H does not.
Ummm…no. Nikon themselves many times in their own videos say “nai-con” or “nih-con”. In the U.S. it’s usually pronounced Nai-con, and in Europe or Japan nih-con. I’ve never heard anyone say nee-con.
@@w9fcc The pronunciation "Nih-con", as you said, or "Neekoan" as I said before, are both correct as it's the same. That's the way the company is titled. "Nai-kon" is if somebody called John like "Yokhn" because he used to read "j" like short "i" (yot) in his country. Why does Nikon use that pronunciation like "Naikon" in the movies made for the US - obviously just to be recognizable among the auditory used to call the name incorrectly.

ok
Z90 and Z50 II., Aps-C bodies first please!!!
Bring on the Z5II
I have been waiting for the Z7 III. I was an early buyer of the Z7 and still love it, but if the Z7 III brings enough upgrades I’ll be a buyer.
sure tip man z7III are not worst for buying
It's the one I'm waiting for.... even if still 45MP, I'd be happy.
60 minopalopee, cant wait
Yapp
Phantasy video
Thank you
ZFii !!!!!!! Please!!!!
It’s not so much the bodies, it’s the lenses that make the most difference. Hope they don’t kill the F mount series of lenses.
It depends on what you shoot, for Action and Wildlife, body also adds to the difference.

Z 7 III
But as I just bought Z 6 III, may think of an upgrade after may be couple of years, i.e. may be in 2027.
Maybe the Z7III, but I think that the current Z8 is quite better😌
there are no doubt z8 is better 😊

a D900? FTZ adaper cannot use Screwdriver AF lenses
Z 7 III
Nikon should apply more effort in the Apsc market!!!!
Yes, but I don't think Nikon cares anymore about DX. They seem to do as little as possible in that area.

Woah, that's a cool wishlist🥶
Pick a pronunciation for "Nikon" you keep switching with each camera.
Z9 II with less resolution than the Z9? This does not seem credible.
Z9 is incredible
Wrong. 😂

Neekon? 😂 robot voice not good.
This is the correct pronunciation. Nikon (read Neekoan, not Naikon)

Sometimes the robot gets confused and opts for Ny-kon instead.
