- How to post on Instagram?
Instagram just made it a lot easier to post on the Instagram feed, Instagram Stories, Story highlights, IGTV, and Instagram Reels.
Before, you had to go to each section to upload a photo or video. But the all-in-one button allows you to post to all parts of Instagram from one place.
Instagram really has 5 different apps in one. Instagram feed, the original Instagram has been around since 2010 and was acquired by Facebook in 2012.
Instagram Stories was the second major update and was released in 2016 to compete with Snapchat.
Instagram added Story highlights, so you can show off your favorite Instagram stories posts permanently on your profile.
Instagram then release IGTV in 2018, which was a place for longer video content between 1 minute to 15 minutes and a way to compete with RUclips.
In 2020, Instagram Reels was released. This was Instagram's answer to TikTok and a place to share 15-second video clips in vertical format.

There is no more plus sign. Can't figure out to do do a post that's not a story,

They also fixed the issue where when you scrolled down a page clicked on an image hit the back button & it bringing you back to the top of the page,That was very very annoying.
Yeah it even changed sharing posts when I am making a qna on stories

The expand video feature does not work now. It expands it in the process of posting but it zooms in when being played after posting. Am i doing something wrong?

I need help … I must of accidentally done something because on one of my accounts I would press plus sign and then the window would open with ‘post’ and by pressing I would be able to access photos and post. BUT NOW the plus sign opens and there are two icons overlapping one another and it says post but when I click on that it opens my photos in a story shape and i for the life of me cant get out to be able to just post photos to my feed… can you help? When I go to upload one of my own photos, the only options coming up is “Next”. . Then there’s filter options that I don’t need. But there’s absolutely no button such as “post” or “Done.” And I cannot scroll up or down., side to side to look for any. I’m stuck there and it won’t let me post at all. I can bring up the picture I want from my device, but I cannot post it. If anybody can explain why that is please do. Otherwise, I am going to delete Instagram.

All photos must be taken thru the app in order for you to post it if take a photo with your regular camera app your photo can’t be posted on Instagram Keep that in mind
How about a "note to self"? Is that considered a news feed post?

Yea there is no text only post. It’s not like Facebook. You can only post pictures or videos with text descriptions

Unfortunately i don't have the update for this yet. had an instagram update 4 hours ago but my screen doesn't look like yours. no + top left.
It should be out soon to everyone. I think they are redesigning the bottom menu and getting rid of the plus sign there
@@Howfinity ok i'll keep an eye out for it then. You do great instructional videos and watch alot of them even if i am not using the particular thing the video is showing as i might in the future and would have a heads up on it. I finally got the update so that i can add pictures to a post from the stickers. there is a camara icon on it what wasn't there before

Then RUclips showed you the wrong video. You just need to open the Instagram app, press plus and post a pic. But there is almost no point to it if you don’t understand all the other ways to post to Instagram from stories to feed to reel to IGTV.

So ... I am on my computer (not my cellphone) and noen of this expalins to me how I can load a photo to my account. I guess I am getting old :(
It’s not possible easily on the computer. This is an app designed for the phone only. It’s viewable on the computer but you can load photos that way. Only on the phone
@@Howfinity - So I am learning. I don't like it. I have already had my proile changed now by Instagram (I had to change it back). So far I don't like this app. I will try to make it work.

Okay, but here's my question that I can't find the answer to ANYWHERE! I see posts that are obviously NOT photos but instead are graphics. These were NOT created on a phone but on a computer. How do I put those kinds of posts on my page?????? I just need to be shown once, then I'll fly alone, but I can't find the answer to this ANYWHERE and it's making me NUTS!!!
Lot of people send the videos or animated graphics to their phone using google drive, Dropbox or airdrop. Then still post from their phone. Other option is posting directly to instagram from a computer ruclips.net/video/_ORGIRs9VDs/видео.html
