Being able to post from your Facebook page to your Instagram page at the same time is a great way to save time and also share your message across both platforms.
But for most people trying to work out how to do this has been a bit tricky. Now posting from your Instagram page to your Facebook page is really easy to do via our smart phones but not the other way,
So that's what I take you through step by step in this video how to post from your Facebook page to your Instagram page at the same time

This was great. I have 2 questions for you. 1. This tool automatically makes you format the image for Instagram so the pics get cropped. Which is irritating since Facebook allows any size. Do you know if there is a way to leave the Facebook images normal (as is) and only Instagram images get cropped? 2. This is just feed back. Might be good to go straight from Facebook page to "Business Suite" because when I clicked on publishing tool, it took me to creator. Also, since you loos all your tagging and text and practically restart the post, there is no reason to go from the "Post" to "Business Suite". Great job on your video though because it was short and very helpful.
you are correct INDTV USA with the image size getting cropped for IG so its not a perfect way to be posting and I'm not aware how to fix that, and also as you mention you lose tagging and text options too. thx for your support
@@markwarncken thank you. After automating few posts, we went back to individual posting for IG and FB for 3 reasons. 1. Tagging - You really have to use different tags for IG vs FB. 2. Image Size - We did not want FB followers suffer from IG image sizes. 3. Limited Images - IG limits images to 10. Sometimes we want to share more and we can on FB.
Nevertheless, your video was amazingly helpful and gave us a chance to try it out. So a big Thank You for you.

Hi there Mapia, unfortunately it only works on business page to business page and not our own personal Fb and Ig profiles

yes great for pages but unfortunately we cant do it on our own profiles

if you run an ad from the Facebook business manager(create ad section ) and you set the placement Facebook and Instagram and you start running this ad it won't be published neither on Facebook or Instagram cause it's a dark post
if you wanna publish it you need to go Page posts in the business manager and Ads then posts and hit publish to this ad
my question is will this ad be published on both Facebook and Instagram? or just it will be published on Facebook page ? and will this post have the same ID on both Facebook and Instagram ?

that's a good question Yu Ri, the ad should get published on both Fb & Ig but I'm not sure about having the ID on both. Let me see if I can find out for you

Thank you! Now my question is....will this post to Instagram every single time now that I post on Facebook? Or do I have to go through this entire process each time? Reason I ask...I have a company that makes my posts for me but they only do Google and Facebook posts. I wanted to see if every time they make a Facebook post, it also goes to my Instagram as well as I don't have the time really to mess with it.
if you link you Facebook Page with your Insta page then posting to both at the same time becomes as easy as clicking the box as how I show in the video

indeed it is and I only did it yesterday a few times when uploading and scheduling a few more videos. Your have to do it using creator studio though

@@markwarncken I’m not sure why my business page won’t let me do promotion. It says restricted. Couple years ago I did have a business page linked with my personal fb but I don’t use it anymore. yes a Facebook page it has to be Emphatictitan and as far as I know we can't do it with our own Facebook profile

That’s a good question and I believe scheduling is only available on business page etc and not from out won profiles 😊

Is this only from FB (business) Page and not personal profile page? When I go to "create post" on my FB personal profile page, there is not option for "publishing tools" like yours. I would like to know how I can cross post my FB post to Instagram.

When I'm uploading 3 minutes above video Facebook business page, but there are Instagram in just 59 seconds
So are you saying things load to Instagram more quickly ?
Can you link a Facebook and Instagram account that have different emails? i sent my facebook account up which my Business page is linked to, a long time ago so have one email for that and a business email for insta.
hhmm thats a good question Louise and Im going to take a guess and say no. I'm think Fb will want to be syncing logins etc to the same email address

Thx Man, But before on Page posts on facebook business when I click on create post, I find fb & insta icons to show me that this post will be on both! now I don't see these two icon !! WHY?

So you can't do it from the regular "Create a Post" menu. You have to click and go to Publishing Tools and the click and go to Business Suit JUST TO CLICK AGAIN A BOX!! in order to publish in both sites. I do not remember something more winding and stupid than that. I imagine doing something similar to start your car or to open the front door of your house. Amazing!
yes your 100% corect it can only be done like i show using the publishing tool. Fb are funneling everyone to use the P tool and have have deleted some old ways we all could post and publish in the past

By selecting a "send message via whatsapp" button on FB it won't share the post to Insta. Is it some kind of bug or they are soo dumb that they can't even automatically remove the button when posting on Insta?

I just can't work out why mine won't work. I click on the reconnect, but it still won't allow me to tick the box. My accounts are linked. Is there any other reason why it won't allow me to do it?
hmm okay that sounds not right Andrea um um are the log in passwords and emails the same for your Ig and Fb
@@markwarncken Oh thanks I'll change my login details for FB as I used a very old email originally and FB didn't allow you to change it in the past. I didn't realise they had to be the same. I thought I just had to link the account. Thanks so much!!
