Love the London vibes too, nice to have a touch of home in a game
I was also in love with this game from the first trailer I saw. From the music, the setting, the artstyle, the gameplay. It just gives me the feeling that the devs know how you make a good game in VR and not just paste a game into VR. Glad to see you enjoy it and that it looks so polished.
It’s really a great game. Solid foundation, great mechanics, music, and art style. Loads of fun, and physically intense!

If you don't like Roguelikes that's one thing, but it's my favorite genre when it's done right so I'm buying for sure.
I think at this point we need to consider roguelike a game system, not a genre per se, since we have shooter roguelikes, melee roguelikes, mech roguelikes, and all kind of games from various genres that use the roguelikes structure to squeeze more game-length :)

Glad this hasn't disappointed because it looks very slick. You played on Q3 so maybe those extra shadows and details aren't on Q2 or is it pretty close?

Not a review! When we review we’re somewhat more organized with our thoughts and always give a score :) But we wanted to make sure we showed off the game cause it’s great fun :)
Great video! Looks amazingly fun! Mech stuff usually seems slow but this looks really physical and quick. Bashing enemies seems way more fun than launching rockets from 1000 feet away, like ordinary mech stuff. Question about the voice in the background, is it your mech talking, enemies, or ambiance from the crowd? It seems distracting but then again I'm just watching a video and not playing the game.
The voice is actually really great. It’s your brother, King, and amongst other things he calls out helpful things during the fight like enemies that have circled around you.
It’s about 30% functionality and 70% character and world building. I love it, I think the voice actor is brilliant.
(But then I’m a Londoner and hearing the local accent in a game in a nice novelty)
You always can turn it off if it gets annoying for you
It really is fun, and I’m glad Pete did the impressions video cause he shows it off a lot more than I could have!
I'm loving the game. 3 days in so far. I know there are 100+ items, but do you know how many weapons there are?

It is already, yes! Absolutely :)
Ot looks absolutely fantastic, but there are too many red flags for me: Rogue like, the music, the talking...
But now I have to try it out.😅
The voice over and soundtrack are outstanding! Such huge components of why the game is so immersive.

All the bad VR tropes, Rogue-like, Arena wave combat, waggle movement. A shame because visually it looks great
I mean the focus is using a mech....
I think your prejudices against some tropes might be causing you to miss out on a great game :) I’d suggest you try it within the refund window and see if it changes your mind!

My experience was that is was the exact opposite of boring. In fact, I got completely addicted to it
@peteaustin5472 Yeah, I can only go by what's in this video... and the way it plays out in this video is just boring.
This might be an example of a great VR game just not looking good to you on a flat screen. I can vouch for Pete’s praise of the game, it’s a lot of fun, and the mechanics feel fantastic. Very immersive, loads of fun, and great style visually and sonically :)

The art direction looks fantastic. The gameplay looks like fun, for a very short while then boredom would set in and I’d be cursing myself for getting lured into wasting more money on yet another roguelike with a pretty face.
To date the only roguelikes that have kept me playing more than a couple of days were The Light Brigade and Sweet Surrender, and I wouldn’t have played Sweet Surrender as long as I did were it not for its excellent bHaptics integration.
