Power Wash Simulator VR is good too if you want something less stimulating. My kid absolutely loves the spongebob and shrek add on packs. Controls are easy- waaay easier for little kids than the regular PC version. There is a story to it but if you're kid can't read they're not really missing out on anything. It also has co-op.😊

I've never played this game and I would like to pick it up and try it but from everything everyone is telling me I feel like I am too stupid to enjoy this game and will just get frustrated

The bat battle was amazing. I wish there was more of that. Otherwise, I enjoyed my time with it. And i wish it would've been released with a Q3 specific build. Edit- I will say the only time I died was on the behemoth battle. The combat was fun, but super easy on medium against humans.

Spot on Review.

I was enjoying the game quite a bit up until the first behemoth fight. The whole encounter was very anti-climactic: a lot of running back and forth while the behemoth sat there patiently waiting for me to find its next weakpoint, or just standing around waiting for the behemoth to stop shuffling back and forth and trigger its attack so I could do the next scripted sequence. It was hugely disappointing after all the cool foreshadowing earlier in the game. Considering the game's price and the fact that you fight the first behemoth before the 2 hour mark, I assumed there must be at least half a dozen more behemoths in the game. But then almost immediately the game tells you there are only 3 more, and unfortunately this review confirmed my fear that they suffer from the same flaws as the first one. On top of the disappointing quantity and quality of behemoths, hearing that the last third of the game is unpolished (which also seems to be frustratingly common in VR games) pretty much guarantees I won't be hurrying back to finish it any time soon. I respect what Skydance tried to do here but, like far too many "AAA" VR releases, it feels undercooked. It probably could have used another year (or more) in development. I simply can't fathom that the Skydance QA team played through all the behemoth fights - the namesake of the entire game and arguably what most players are here for - and said "yeah we're happy with these." But I think what's most disappointing is that this makes 2 games in a row now that Skydance seems to have shoved out the door before they were ready; I haven't played Saints & Sinners Chapter 2, but I've heard it was very unpolished compared to the first one. It's a concerning pattern for one of the most well-regarded studios in the VR space.

am i the only one that absolutely hated the endboss? you have multiple really easy phases (as long as they dont bug..) and after each phase they make you do more platforming nonsense. everytime they teleported me into another platforming area i could feel myself getting more and more mad at the game.

It doesn’t seem you quite know how the combat works in this game, it’s all about parrying

I actually like the fact that the third behemoth fight is less stressful so as to give me more opportunities to enjoy the views.

Absolutely love this game. It’s even better on my second playthrough. Also the combat is fantastic, just like classic Skydance. It has a learning curve. I give it a solid 8/10. Only gripe is that I wish there were more behemoths.

This game has been a blast to me. Stuck on the first behemoth. So ive just been going crazy on arena mode! So fun.

It's not a bad game. It's not a great one either. But alot better than most jank on the headset.

I’m so glad I’ve still held off on purchasing this. Seems like it needs another patch or 2 to get it up to release standard. Not only will I wait for a patch but a substantial sale price before I get my moth eaten wallet out.

While i bought the game and am enjoying it, i am a bit disappointed that skydance went from making the fun immersive but not so easy combat of saints and sinners to the absolutely OP combat of behemoth…

Ive put the game on hold just before second boss to see what patches and updates come out...its way better after last big patch but gonna wait a bit before returning..fair review✌️

I strongly disliked it. Floaty combat, janky movement, underwhelming bosses, nothingburger level design... I don't know about this one. S&S felt and worked much better.

My son and I have been playing No More Rainbows for hours all week and got so worn out today that I could hardly lift my arms and was drenched in sweat. It is so much better than them sitting on their tablets or switch on the couch. What a wonderful time to be alive.

Great review. I spent the last few days playing through this on PSVR2 and finished it about an hour ago. Definitely frustrating at times but I really enjoyed it. It's damn challenging too in a few spots. In spite of all its flaws, I find the game as a whole to be really impressive in its own right. Ambitious is definitely the right word.

Do you have an opinion on Stilt multiplayer with a kid?

Seems a bit wonky on the Quest, but I'll probably get it on Steam.

I just grabbed a Quest 3S, and I'm probably going to grab this one.

Another great game that just came out is Volara. Is amazing and pretty unique family fun, and phenomenal as a introduction for VR. Check it out

Great video/list! It's great to see Journey of the Gods and Ghost Giant be mentioned as they aren't talked about nearly enough. It blows my mind that Fujii, a chill garbening sim and Light Brigade, a excellent shooter, are made by the same devs. Both are great but wow, what a difference.

Great list, but here's a very important note: Journey of the Gods was delisted from the Meta Horizon Store some time ago and is no longer available for purchase. The reasons for this are unknown and other games from Turtle Rock Studios have also been delisted.

I absolutely loved superhot vr and waited forever for a sequel that never came. I played the demo for this and it scratches that itch magnificently.

The visual quality of this video is awful. If the game looks like this in VR on the Quest 3 then it's a definite pass for me.

Unfortunately I don't own a PSVR2, but a friend of mine and we couldn't stop playing this game last night. The game is perfect for what it is and wants to be. It's completely in the style of Aliens and so the action predominates, which I really welcome.

Speaking of Orion drift, did you try it out during the open alpha?

Did you have it casting whilst recording Omar? Some weird audio feedback or echo?

Shame it wasnt quest version..hopefully it'll be fully patched up in release in February✌️
