Power Wash Simulator VR is good too if you want something less stimulating. My kid absolutely loves the spongebob and shrek add on packs. Controls are easy- waaay easier for little kids than the regular PC version. There is a story to it but if you're kid can't read they're not really missing out on anything. It also has co-op.😊
My son and I have been playing No More Rainbows for hours all week and got so worn out today that I could hardly lift my arms and was drenched in sweat. It is so much better than them sitting on their tablets or switch on the couch. What a wonderful time to be alive.
Great video/list! It's great to see Journey of the Gods and Ghost Giant be mentioned as they aren't talked about nearly enough. It blows my mind that Fujii, a chill garbening sim and Light Brigade, a excellent shooter, are made by the same devs. Both are great but wow, what a difference.
Hey Korvorn! Thanks! And totally agree! Journey of the Gods and Ghost Giant are super underrated. And yeah, Fujii and Light Brigade are like night and day, right?
Hope you had a fab xmas guys! I recently gave my old Q2 to a friend and set up app sharing, but unfortunately most of my game library is not suitable for his kids- too violent, scary etc. I'll send him your list for some good family-friendly recommendations!
Thanks, Lord Val :) Retro will always be cool :) And when they’re old enough for VR, maybe you’ll have this to fall back on, at least until we update it again :)

@@6DOFReviews Which age do you consider old enough for VR? I see there's no clear scientific research on the potential damages to their visual development, and on the other side, there's such a big opportunity to learn new skills on VR, that I'm in doubt at which age my daughter (actually 8) could start with short sessions.
Thank you :) As parents ourselves, we take great care in choosing which games to expose our children to in VR! We hope you and your kids have a great time with some of the titles on this list :)
Great list, but here's a very important note: Journey of the Gods was delisted from the Meta Horizon Store some time ago and is no longer available for purchase. The reasons for this are unknown and other games from Turtle Rock Studios have also been delisted.
Thanks! And good observation! We're lucky we put it in honorable mentions, then! It's odd because I checked all titles while editing the video, and Journey of the Gods does still have a page in the legacy URL system: www.meta.com/experiences/journey-of-the-gods/1853479764707533/ But I didn't realize you can no longer buy it! Shame, it was a really good game!
Ah, that’s great to hear. None of these games have to be for kids, so cool to hear the list is helping. May I suggest Startender, Clash of Chefs and Spacefolk City as some very nice games that are pretty wholesome and really great fun. You could also check out Racket Club or Racket Nx if you want a fun racket sport to play. They all have full reviews on the channel if you’re interested

Salutations and merriment to you all folks 👍👏
A good video, and the only one like this I think ive seen with regards to catering for children.
Haha :) Salutations and merriments to you too, Stuart! Thanks! We made a similar video a couple of years ago, but figured it was time to update it!

Iam cat is cool too! You get to be a cat and explore
Yeah! It’s on the list :)
No more rainbows? Yeah I'd give my child that game IF I WANT TO RAISE A PSYCHOPATH lol 😂
C'mon! It's hilarious and all in good fun!
Nice video and nice idea.
Unfortunately, my kids are still far too young for VR, but they are just getting into the retro corner.

Thank you for this. Too many parents just blindly buy games for their kids.

Thank you, I'm looking for myself, to many negative and gory games.

Do you have an opinion on Stilt multiplayer with a kid?
I haven’t actually tried that one yet, sorry. @6dofreviews, have you?
Downloaded to try :)
Another great game that just came out is Volara. Is amazing and pretty unique family fun, and phenomenal as a introduction for VR. Check it out
We’ll check it out! Thanks!
