@@GreentopLandscapes credit where credit is due👍 been thinking of trying to get into landscaping, where did you get all your knowledge from? Working for people or? Thanks
Hello Johnny. I've got a porcelain patio where there's starting to be a bit of green algae growing in the grouting. What would you recommend to clean, a bit of dish soap and warm water or something a bit stronger? Cheers
I'd read in a catalogues installation guide that porcelain should never be laid to more than quarter bond (I know your not laying this patio to a bond). I assumed this is because of crowned porcelain paving slabs causing drainage (water run off) problems, have you ever ran into trouble laying half bond porcelain? If a customer insisted they wanted half bond how would you go about it (with minimum fall) to avoid pooling or would the customer have to accept there could be pooling on the surface? Some great content in your videos. Well done.
I know mate it’s their opinion and that’s all it is. Just need to explain the pros and cons it’s just a small amount of limping in place depending on the paving thank you so much for watching
What would be your dream patio in your own garden? I like the contemporary look of porcelain but I think sawn/honed sandstone is better. You can still create great straight lines with consistent jointing but the sandstone offers much more variety in every slab.
I’m the owner of Manchester gardens and landscapes and I’ve laid hundreds of porcelain patios both wet beds and semi dry and Johhnys way is definitely the correct way the only reason you would use wet mix is in my opinion speed but for a stronger more compacted bed definitely johnnys way is best
I've been tiling 40 years for all the biggest tiling company's in uk I don't know how you manage to do it that way ,at least you've got the semi dry correct ,please learn to screed then serate the back with tile adhesive
I get you Oliver, the thing is porcelain out side is not tiling inside and it’s not flagging, but we need to apply tiling methods but there are many landscapers infact thousands that won’t listen to know one, but i do I think the tiling way is a better way to be honest
True craftsmanship as always
cheers amigo

Try some fairy liquid soft brush work it in and leave, it’s got sodium hypochlorite in it,
I'll give that a go, cheers
