For me, value Casio can’t be beat. I had the early ones, pre g-shock; but in 83 I got a rather physical job and I broke 2-3 watches. I bought a g-shock and what a game changer for me. I wore g-shocks from 84-2018. I still have them, I just just can’t get myself to throw any of them away. They are beat to hell, but they just keep going. I did try and buy the Ironman timex and it broke in a week at work, never again. I have a bunch of Invicta watches, nice looking and feels so nice and you can buy so many at a reasonable price. I’m a bigger guy and I like bigger watches. I stopped wearing watches when I retired. I’m glad to see your list since 95% if not 100% of my watch brands made your list. Casio, Invicta, Swatch and Seiko.

One of the nicest watches I've purchased at under $100 is a Wenger field watch. Victorinox's value brand watch company. They have several models in that range and for the money you get Swiss quartz, sapphire coated glass, and a decent strap.

I just picked up an SNKK27 on a whim (A blue and yellow "Speed Racer" Seiko 5) off Amazon because the price dropped to $65 for a bit and have been blown away by it. The dial finishing and quality match some much, much more expensive watches I have. It's got so much personality. I have 3 duro’s: $35 for blue, $15 for black & gold & $15 for classic black. The black is my favorite-seconds hand hitting the marks perfectly & rotating bezel having no play whatsoever. I put an orange silicone band on for awhile, but went back to the black resin strap for the diver look instead of looking more like a fashion watch. I don’t see why so many people have a problem with the stock resin band? I find it perfectly comfortable & I feel a diver watch should be on this type of band since it’s supposed to be exposed to water. 🔥

Awesome video as always. One of my favorite Casio's that is routinely overlooked is the MTP-S120L-3AVCF. It's a solar field watch for under $100 bucks. Stainless steel case and screw down case back, 100m WR, 42mm case with 22mm lugs. Beautiful, brushed, fixed bezel that reflects light quite elegantly. The strap it comes with is garbage but the watch itself looks stellar on Nato straps. I love it.

Part of the beauty of the 40mm Invicta Pro Diver is that is available in easily 40+ color combinations. There's at least 25 dial colors. Case & bracelet combinations include Stainless Steel, Two-tone, Gold tone, Black, IP Blue and Iridescent. They're now available with color matching canvas straps.
These watches are accurate and reliable. At one point in time I had 18 in my collection; all different.
Here's a tidbit a lot of people don't know: If the model# ends with "ob", it has a coin-edge bezel. If not, the bezel is scalloped.

Festina is probably a bit harder for Americans to acquire, but if you like smaller, classic and dressier watches, I think you should consider one of them. The Festina Extra 1948 looks a bit like a cheap Chinese 5$ watch at first glance, but it's a really well made beauty once you got it in your hands. Add 50$ if it was another brand. If you like tank style, they have the F20464 from the Classics series. This one is also a really well made beauty and it has a proper two hands movement too. No cheating here.

Robert Lewandowski was wearing a casio f91w gold plated for about £50. And made more of a statement than a different footballer who might have been wearing an Uber Complication with bells and whistles, with an alert to tell you to stop wiping.

I've sold my omegas and an iwc but keeping those cheaperv watches.... they're light, affordable, beautifully thin (OK maybe not the g shock) and have never lost me huge money and given guilt and regrets like the expensive watches I've bought and sold

Amazing choices! The F-91W is an unbeatable classic as well as the 5600 and Duro, although Casio should offer a smaller Duro since Columbus. That Bertucci caught my attention positively. About the Orient 3 Stars, they are extremely famous in Brazil; they dominate the mechanical niche and the market for vintage pieces - most of them in very unique shapes and bold dials - remains very healthy and very attainable too. Regarding Swatch, i would love to see these retro-80s-90s Swatches inundating the watch world.

Hi both I have recently come across the American brand Armitron after watching a review on the Armitron 'Rubik' digital watch compared with the Casio F91 which cost under £50 on Amazon US. As I live in the UK this brand is unknown as they only produce watches for the US market. It's amazing that the "Rubik' is fully stainless steel when a Casio stainless steel watch in the A1000 series costs over £100 unless you are lucky enough to get one for less in a sale brand new.
I looked into other watches in the Armitron range and came across the Armitron 'Ridgemont' model No.20/5453NVSV which is an analogue/digital watch for under £50. I ordered this watch from Amazon Global Store and the watch is truly a wonderful value for money one.and similar to the Casio one I already own except the Armitron has a fully stainless steel case and strap with increased water resistance of 50M instead of the Casio with 30M. The bracelet even though it is a cheap similar to a Casio at this price point is more comfortable then any of my Casio's in my collection. It would be great to hear a review on the Ridgemont or some of their other watches from the brand. Thanks for your review of the watches you chose in this video and I look forward to seeing more like this. Regards to you both from here in the UK.

Perfect video for me! I just started to look to buy my first "casual" everyday watch that does not break the bank! (I do own a Garmin Fenix for hiking and sports, and that one broke the bank lol)

It's crazy to see SNK809s go for like $100-150 now when they were just $70-80 a year or two ago. Great lil watches. The Orient Tri Stars are also decent for automatics though they've got that lil tick to em and don't always come well tuned but c'est la vie. I do love my Casio F-91WC and calculator watch.

Who made the watch that Ted Danson wore on Cheers? I’ve seen that question asked before, but no one seems to know what brand and model it is. The white dial, rose gold wristwatch with the large clasp just on the top. Very unique but an eye catcher.

Fantastic episode many people think that only expensive watches are any good. l've got expensive watches, but l'm obsessed with wearing my GShock 7900 s. l've the white one and the rescue red. I just love wearing them each cost me about £60. The white is 6 years old and still on the original battery. The red was used off eBay but mint condition. I'd dearly love to be able to get a mint / new yellow one. Re release Casio please.

Thank you for sharing your appreciation for the Dw290. I bought mine when they first came out, without having viewed..🤔never noticed it being on mission impossible. It's my "head out to the bush" watch.
    My other favorites are:
    -(wearing) seiko snk809
    -swiss quartz tritium "carnival"
-homage submariner "deep sea" made by Pagani Design.

I have the original Timex Ironman with Indiglo. I believe I bought it new in 1991. The watch has bee on my regular rotation for 30 years and is in mint condition. Last year I saw a guy wearing a new version with "SHOCK" printed on it. After a little bit of research on the interwebs I found the Timex T5K195 Full-Size Ironman Endure 30 Shock Watch. I bought mine on Amazon for $45.00. In my opinion; this watch has a much easier digital display to read than anything else on the market. If your in the market for a G-Shock, I suggest you check out the new SHOCK resistant Timex line.

A few years ago I had the SNK809 on the bracelet. I don't recall if it was a video by Marc but, someone posted a video featuring the 809 & the 3 other colors on straps. I posted a comment that the 809 was available on a bracelet as I had one and provided the part #.

Hi: I have a Orient Three Star Vega. And, yes can order direct from Orient USA. I've been very impressed with the quality for a watch that is just a tick over 100 bucks. Orient will give you a list of authorized sites to order from to keep the warranty in place. Ordering from sites other than these will have no warranty in the USA.

Marc, the Bertucci will work with other straps. I took an exacto knife to an Islander EWB to get the stitches out, looped it through my Bertucci lugs and sewed it back together by hand. It’s great. I have every watch on the list except an actual swatch and the invicta. I have been watching too many of you guys’ videos.
