They are really strong right now, but unfortunately, Pariah Nexus hit us hard with the missions. If our opponents are taking Assassinate and Bring it down - we give up 30-40 points in secondaries almost all the time (It's not that hard to take down bigger deamons). Hard to play around that, so if we really want to be competetive we really need to think about bringing more lesser deamons. It's a somewhat balancing factor. In our last RTT I won 2 games and had one draw with my deamons but because people knew about assassinate and bring it down - all of my opponents took it as fixed. They were able to score it in basicly every game and that really hurt my scores and placing in the big picture. Because of those secondaries, I was like 12:8, 11:9, 10:10. It wasn't such a big deal before Pariah Nexus.
You can still infiltrate with Blue Horrors and do Actions with Flamers and many other really fast options like screamers and hounds. Nurglings are dead thou
I thought the update was amazing, I now have options around Bel'akor. I don't need to take him everytime so I've swapped him out for Skarbrand who hits harder AND has the aura.
Have Daemons just materialised into the top tiers with these changes?!
I'm not afraid of assassinate or BiD. I run 7 greater daemons. Fite me.

I’ve been playing them and the problem is with the loss of nurglings doing actions we have to pay nearly double for a similar unit

This constant tampering is one of the main reasons I've given up on 40k and just play old editions
