I tried tuning the car a bit more after this, and I managed to get within 1.7 seconds of the top spot! I reckon have a bit more in me! I would love to get a world record. I know it probably won't last long when the Aliens try this stage but it would be nice to achieve it
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this spin in the Hillman Avenger.

Sidenote: I heard the British Touring Car Championship game got cancelled as TOCA is not satisfied with Motorsport Games so they terminated their licensing agreement, which is disappointing while Le Mans Ultimate (Another game from Motorsport Games) is delayed until 2024.
Cheers man 🙂👊 I decided after making having a shot at this stage and seeing how close I was to the world record that I might aswel have a shot at trying to get it. I'm 1.7 secs slower than the world record using the Hillman Avenger...do close. I reckon I can get it but I need to try and fine tune the car to really scrape every bit of performance out of it.
That's awful news about the BTCC game 😢 They were years into development of that too!
I love your videos mate, but i cant really see everything of that wheel camera, if you woudlve fixed that it would've been perfect, other than that everything is great, keep it up!
Ah, thank you, my friend. I'm glad you like the videos. Sorry about the camera angle in this one. I know its pretty bad. The seat takes up most of the screen. I appreciate you taking the time to give me tips on how to improve the quality of my videos 🙂👊 I need to get a decent microphone too, as the audio quality on my voice changes a lot depending if its a voiceover or recorded during the video. Any tips and feedback are always welcome though 👍 I have started editing the videos so that you can see my wheel fully and then I overlay the screen recording over the recorded image of my tv. I'm probably explaining that terribly, but it does look a lot cleaner than just a straight recording of the TV. I think my last video or so, I have done it this way, and I think it looks better. I only have a single monitor setup, so it's hard to get a nice angle where you see the wheel and screen but not the walls in my room. Thanks again, my friend. Happy Racing 🙂👊

Hi man. All is good, thanks. Hope you are well too. I have been trying to get top spot on this 1. I would love to have been able to get a world record! The time is ticking though because these times only get quicker and quicker when the Aliens arrive on scene. I'm currently 1.7 secs off the top spot. I'm hoping with a bit more practice and tuning, I can get it done 🤞😬

I was never a massive fan of Generations. The Handbrake and throttle were hit and miss for me. I loved the stages but I never felt I could rely on the handling. I'll never go back to generations. You know me. I was always biaised towards DR2 and this new WRC is pretty much the sequel to that but better in every way (apart from the framerate😢) Hopefully they can fix the framerate
I know how much you like DR2, so that says a lot. Brilliant!
@roostergeeracing6962 yeh, I'm definitely loving the game. The framerate isn't where it needs to be (for me on my little PC) and the game has crashed on me so many times! I don't know if that is just because my PC is underpowered or what but its annoying as hell when you are nailing a stage and the whole game suddenly crashes 😢......apart from that I don't have many complaints 🙂👊
Yikes! Too bad there isn’t a save setting. But you’d want to stay in that state of flow instead of picking up where you left off.
@roostergeeracing6962 Ah yeh, I know for myself, I can't pause halfway through a stage and go and eat dinner and come back and start where I left off. Like you say, once you are in that rhythm and flow you can't really get back into it if you are interrupted
