Hi, I'm not still using it, but like you, I never had issues. The only issue I ever had was if I turned the ps5 on and then turned the wheel on. I always had to have the wheel turned on and in the right mode ready to go, with all the cables plugged into the drivehub and everything connected to the ps5. Once everything was ready to go, I had to then turn on the ps5, and everything was always fine with it. Hopefully, this sorts the issue you are having with it. Let me know if you are able to get sorted.

@@footdownracing thanks for the reply I appreciate that. Yeah I’ve always kept things connected and just done the same, wheel on in pc mode, then turned ps5 on. I’m sure you used to be able to hold options and share and change from Fanatec/fanalogic mode etc but now does nothing, I’m wondering if my hub is cooked

I'm not sure what the issue is, but I do remember trying to change from FanaLogic to Fanatec mode. I only got it to change once from the default fanalogic mode, but I got no FFB in Fabatec mode. I would leave it in the default Fanalogic mode. Sometimes there is beta drivers you can install that are more up to date than the latest update. Check out this video in the link below to download the latest Beta instead of the latest update. You might find that it works when you install the latest Beta instead. Ah, thanks, man. Good to hear from you, and I hope all is well. I didn't play this game when it was 1st released, but I am of that vintage myself, I just never knew about it back then 😅👍 The community has really altered and added so many features to the game over the last 20 years, that it has totally changed it and kept it relevant as the go-to Rally sim for the die hard fans, to this day. I love the crackles and pops out of this car, too! I could listen to it all day 👌 I think that once you get the ffb set up on RBR, the tarmac stages feel so good. It's definitely the best feel on tarmac. I like EA WRC on gravel and snow. The default cars setups are great and EA wrc and Dirt Rally much more user-friendly titles. They are pretty much plug and play and a lot more forgiving than RBR. I love them all, though, and they each have their pros and cons. For realism of tarmac stage designs, it has to be RBR for the win. There is some amazing tarmac stages in RBR and I can't get enough of them ATM 🙂👊

@roostergeeracing6962 That camera follow is replay only but is so cool. You can change the distance from the car, the height, the angle, the side slip, the amount of shake of the camera. It adds to the realism and makes it feal like a cop car chase or a real road race. It's pretty cool 😎

Hi man. I love the growl of this car, too. It's savage 👌 Yeh, that is a button box. I got that years ago. I do have some buttons mapped to it for RBR, but I don't really get that much use out of it apart from that.

Ah, the button boxes look great and ice always wondered how much use they get once the car is started. RBR is getting a lot of fans.

The button boxes are great and maybe people that play I-racing or ACC where you need to change brake bias, traction control or other car settings on the fly, might get more use out of a button box than I do. They definitely can add an extra nice look to a rig though, I would agree. Its great that RBR is getting a bigger following. I hope you can get it set up for yourself and give it a shot. Its definitely worth putting in the time to download and set it all up. The tarmac stages are absolutely awesome. I think thats where it really shines. 🙂👊 @roostergeeracing6962

I'm not sure of why you are getting that issue, but I have heard of people getting a red flashing light due to a clamp on the shaft of the DD Pro coming loose. Check out the link below to Boosted media video on how to install the QR2 and try and re install the QR2 again. You can definately be more accurate and consistent on a wheel but I'm sure there are people out there that are faster than me when they are on controller and me on the wheel. But if that same person was to use a wheel, they would be able to improve their times even more, for sure

Yeh man, haven't played it in a while myself but there were definitely glitches with some of the times on the leaderboards. But there are some crazy people out there that get ridiculously fast times legitimately. Some of the wrc class times are unreal

Ah, thanks a million! You can't beat the aluminium frames for sturdiness and rigidity. But you can have the best and most expensive rig and equipment going bit still be absolute rubbish. I'm a prime example of that 😅 You can definately still have the same amount of fun with an office chair and a wheel clamped to the desk and be faster than someone with the best gear. @@footdownracing I agree with you completely. I had a steering wheel clamped (on & off) to my work desk for a very long time. A good proper rig setup just make the driving experience much better and you can share the fun with others. My wife and kids all love racing games. However, they love different racing games and have very different skills. 😂It's all about fun for most of us! 😀👊

@tdmdchannel2339 that's awesome, man 👌 That's the beauty of driving games too. There are so many different kinds of games from sim racing to arcade racing to trucking sims. Arcade games are great for those that want a bit of fun without the stress and the more serious sim racing stuff for those with a bit more skill and who want a bit more of a challenge. It's great that your kids and wife enjoy the sim rig and driving games too 🙂👍

I made this video before the PSVR2 was released based on all the reviews from people who had actually used the PSVR2 and the recorded footage that they posted. I made a video of my 1st impressions of it when I finally got it. I was disappointed, too, but they have updated it and made it much clearer than what it was at launch, believe it or not! I do think the VR is still a great experience, though. Get yourself some micro fibre lens cleaning cloths. They make a massive difference. Don't clean the lens with any moisture or cleaning products. All you need is the micro fibre lens cloth. Give it a go if you haven't already and also go into the brightness settings for the psvr2 and turn the brightness down. This will reduce that 'mesh' effect. I would say, don't give up on it just yet. The tracks look so different with all the elevation changes in VR. You just don't see those elevation changes on the flat screen. I hope these tips help you out and make it look better for you 👊

Hi man, there are 2 modes. Fanatec and logitec. It should default on the logitech, which should give you ffb. Whenever I changed it to Fanatec mode, I lost all feedback. Maybe yours is defaulting to fanatec mode. Also, make sure you have al the latest firmware updates installed. I can't remember how to change mode, but if you look up how to switch between Fanatec and logic modes on Drive Hub, you should find it. If you can't find it let me know and I'll try and find it for you

Yeh the Clubsort DD+ is compatible with ps5 🙂👍 I usually play EA WRC on PC but it does work on the PS5. I have it for the PS5 too and I haven't had any compatibility issues with any driving game on it yet

@@footdownracing, because I'm seeing quite a few posts on the forums saying that Clubsport DD+ doesn't work with EA Sport WRC on PS5, whereas on PC it does. The problem would come from EA Sport WRC, you need to update the game to take into account CS DD+. I've contacted EA support but they can't answer my question.

No, I didn't get a new TV. I just did a bit of editing magic to increase the size of the screen for the video. Looks awesome, for the youtube video though. I'd say a screen that big and that close would be too big. It would be like sitting in the front row at a cinema! You would have to turn your head to look at different parts of the screen. I've had the speakers for a while now. I must do an update of the rig and show all the equipment I currently have. I know you are a big fan of ACC. The cars feel and sound alive! They did a really good job with the Nordschliefe, and it is well worth getting if you are a fan of ACC 🙂👌

Yeh, I think they have lessons to learn with this new game engine. They have definitely reduced the amount of screen tearing compared to when it was 1st released. I feel your pain with the screen tearing because I hate it too, but I think EA and codemasters have a great formula here with this. I think the handling and fun factor (apart from the screen tearing) is great and I hope they can learn from any mistakes they made on this one and smash the next game out of the ballpark. I rarely would use the controller anymore. I really just use the wheel now. But I have heard of people using the sticks for acceleration/braking and steering. It makes sense that you would have more progression and travel through both acceleration and braking. I'd say once you get used to it, there's no going back to buttons. Cheers for the tip man 🙂👊

I must say that the clarity has improved greatly with updates since launch day. A lot of people experienced the same quality as me with the launch headsets. I think they were early headsets that didn't have the latest firmware installed at launch. Some people obviously did have the latest firmware installed because they saw no difference in quality after the 1st update. Don't get me wrong, I love the headset. I think it's great and they did an amazing job with GT7 on the headset, but it was originally advertised by youtubers as being like real life quality. They never put in a Disclaimer saying that the recorded footage you see on a RUclips video, is better quality than you get inside the headset. Which, it still is today.

It was fun while it lasted! Shoulda known I couldn't handle the candle 😅👊

Yeh, I was. I'm not sure if you can get that wobble out by adjusting the settings and damper settings in the Fanatec control panel on a pc or laptop. You might be able to reduce it. I will say though, that I have the Fanatec Clubsport DD+ 15nm and I don't have that wobble on the straights

I can't say whether or not the ffb is weaker or not as I never tried the GT DD Pro but I will definately take your word for it if you have tried both 🙂👍 For sure, if you don't have a wheel, go with a PS compatible wheel if you are wanting to use it with you PlayStation too. It will save you a lot of hassle. But if you already have a wheel and you can't afford to get a PS compatible one, then the drivehub could be for you. It served me well for years

@@footdownracing it's insane how much more ffb you get without using the drivehub. I was do dissapointed in realizing how much I was missing on console. Even though I main pc it just makes it that much more fun with my freinds on console lol. But I also tested the dd+ and again way better without drive hub.

@@footdownracing it's the best, so good. Didn't expect how much weight it had while turning due to the constant forces one of the only bases ive ever owned where it feels like there is always weight and forces coming through. I want the 2.5x rim though as I like that really nice dense smaller feel when ffb comes through it. When you have the mclaren gt3 like I do it's fantastic but the big rubber grips and the plastic make the ffb feel more well rubbery. When you use the dense 2.5x snd its smaller ffb feels sharp. Hard to explain but that's all based on rims. The ffb on the dd+ is incredible that's for sure. Mine is still breaking in. Idk if you noticed but it's like as you use it the more the ffb comes out. It's almost like it's adapting like there is ai in it or something. Haha but imo anything and everything has a break in period. Magnets. Components just everything. Even oil working itself in from factory.

Yeh, you could be right in saying it takes a while for them to break in. I have been trying to dial in settings for GT7. I dont think you can use just 1 setup for GT7 because the cars and tire compounds you use drastically alter how heavy the FFB is. I am probably the opposite to you in that I like the wheel to be as light as possible when turning, so I try and keep the forces to a minimum while still giving the subtle details I need. I think I was talking to you before about the DD+ before, was? You were schooling me on the various forces in nm it could pull and that it was the smoothest FFB you had ever seen in a wheel base. Was that you I was talking to about that?And you were looking forward to seeing what the trueforce or whatever its called could do eventually ​@reviewforthetube6485

It did work with the Dualshock 4 controller. See the comment by "porkertinker" It could possibly work with the DS5 too. I don't use the drivehub anymore as I got the clubsport dd+ recently

I don't think we will get psvr2 support with this update.......but I do have a feeling they are going to bring psvr2 support in a future update. I have my fingers crossed they can pull it off. I am willing to make sacrifices to graphics or whatever they need to do to make it happen 🙂👊

Nice 👌 Fanatec is the only DD Wheel I have tried. I love the quality of the Fanatec ecosystem and its great to hear this base is 1 of the best from somebody that knows about the various bases available. Thanks for the heads up. Oh man, I agree the wheel is savage but I was able to be just as fast with the CSL DD 8nm. If you can afford it, the Clubsport DD+ is the wheelbase to go for but for anyone who has only recently purchased the csl dd or the GT DD Pro, before they knew about this being released, and now they can't afford another upgrade, they shouldn't be worried. I think the csl dd and gt dd pro are amazing too. They are all so smooth and I actually got the fastest time in Estonia, Vahessaare in EA Sports WRC in the H2 RWD category using the 8nm csl dd. I tried it with the Clubsport DD+ and I can't get close to my previous time. I'm sure if I stayed trying it all day I might eventually beat it but it just shows you that you can be just as fast using the csl dd. I am delighted I purchased the Clubsports DD+ but I have enjoyed the CSL DD since it was 1st released, so I was due an upgrade. Cheers for the comment my friend. Hi, I don't speak Italian, but I put your comment into Google Translation, and I think you said you only have a cockpit view? I don't have DR2.0 anymore, but I think there are 2 x cockpit views. Find the button to change your view in controls. You can change the control setup and edit the buttons to suit. You should have 2 x 3rd person views, a bumper view, a hood view, and 2 x cockpit views (I think) I hope I answered your question properly 🙂

There should be a button mapped, so that you can change view to bonnet cam. Check out the video below. He shows how to map the inputs to your buttons. Just select camera, press x (or whatever the select button is) and then press whatever button you would like to use to change cameras with. I don't think you can adjust the FOV of any other cameras apart from the cockpit view. But check out the video below and hopefully it helps. This isn't actually VR Gameplay. I made this before the headset was released. I did make a video warning that the image quality isn't as good inside the headset as what is shown in gameplay footage. I don't know if it's quite as low as 480p but 720, maybe. I still think the headset really does add to the immersion, though. It awesome to see the detail inside the cars and it brings the tracks to life too as you don't get the same sense of scale on a flat screen.

Yeh, I love EA Sports WRC, too. It's great fun. I think they have a nice range of cars from old school to new school, but it would be nice to get some new dlc cars added to spice things up 🙂👌

There was never really any mods for Dirt Rally or Dirt Rally 2.0, so I would imagine EAs WRC will be the same. But you are right. It would be cool if there was a community like ACs and RBRs that made cars and stages for it though 🙂👌@mightyn00dle64

@@footdownracing I know and it’s a shame because the modding community always brings good quality content and it keeps the gamers off the devs backs when they’re taking a while to drop a big update. From what it seems to me allowing people to mod creates a win for the consumers the devs so it baffles me why more games don’t do it.

It might be because they don't want the physics engine modded. People would be able to benefit from increased grip, for instance, in an online rally event. Or it could be that they want to be able to add stages themselves and charge a fee for any addons. It's probably down to 1 thing in the end, and it's probably money. If the devs can't benefit with profits from modder content, then they won't allow their game to be modded. I can see why they might not want the game to be modded when it does host online events. It wouldn't be fair on players that don't have their game modded. Having said all that, I agree with you about mods being cool and giving an extra lease of life to games with new content that devs don't bother creating.
