When the opening credits started, I knew I was in for a ride
When i saw the trailer, i knew i was in for a ride
Miramax is a great studio. I wonder what makes a great studio, because Miramax is more like an indie type of studio in my opinion. They choose their Directors well and scripts are almost always on point. Great flick.
Not a PLC in sight
When just the opening credits are better than half the films that come out these days
Same
This movie was literally so amazing. The dialogue to the plot to the characters! You kind of have to shift through the locker room talk but underneath is pure gold.
Just saw a video clip last week. Now Im looking for the whole movie.
100% agree with you, amazing movie
I heard comments on the "locker room talk" (borderlining claims of antisemitism) and then I thought, how the f*** are gritty cockney gangsters supposed to talk or poke at each other ?!
Omg literally

Exactly. People are too sensitive.
Guy Ritchie is one of the greatest story tellers of my small and stupid time. For this much I am grateful.
it's a big and stupid time.

And his films are so re-watchable. I re-watched The Gentlemen recently and loved it just as much as the first time. I think anybody could pick up Lock, Stock or Snatch right now and happily watch it through for the umpteenth time.
You know a movie is good when a scene starts like this!!
0:26 - 0:50 Mickey's wife said those lines to him and hence it reminded him of her. Then he decided to check on her and called her. That's a nice touch.
Absolutely love this movie seen it 5 times
Ameen Norkie, I’m with you, the opening scene pulled me in ! I watched it over 8 times and counting. Hugh Grant is hilarious in his role.
That all haha
5 times? Wow you must really adore it. FFS
Guy has a true gift.
He makes somewhat simple plotlines look exciting and full of drama.
The hint in the first scene is: the gunshot is not muffled.
And a body falls down as well
Tbf a real suppressed weapon can actually sound like that in real life, they typically have a heavy smack sound like chopping wood with an axe
Who cares.....it's a film....
@@ryancnayr nope sound of a gun fired with silencer is different from without silencer even if you used the regular ammo.
there's 2 sound in firing a gun the sound of gunpowder explosion and the sonic boom the two sound travel fast and your brain cant process the two sound together so they sound like 1 boom. if you use a silencer the explosion of the gunpowder will be reduce significantly and farther canceled by the sound of sonic boom.
the subsonic ammo have lower gunpowder compare to regular ammo so the explosion sound are reduce too.
the sonic boom will not occur if you used the subsonic because the bullet will not break the speed of sound so the two sound is significantly reduce.
you can still hear it if you are in an closed area but in an open area you wont notice if the shot fired at 20 meters or more.
the sound of gun will be canceled in noisy places it's like a mechanical clock in your room if you played a music louder than the clock you wont hear the click ticking
Exactly
This is absolutely Guy Ritchie's best movie so far.
Guy Ritchie is like Quentin Tarantino ... they are not just movie directors ... They are the full package. They can make something genius out of of nothing.
Yeeessss!!!
Hugh Grant is perfect for this role. An absolute legend
On back to back longhaul flights, watched it about three times. Great actors, perfect soundtracks, complicated storyline but … soooo amazing. Ranking among my best ever!
Something about this film hit different I’m obsessed and the music is perfect for it
Another genius movie from g.r
I had hard time believing hugh grant could play a slimey roguetype just as much as I had hard time believing brad Pitt could play a irish bare knuckle fighter. Awesome at character creation in every film......
King Arthur & this are absolute bangers imo. And actually BOTH should have sequels...
One of the best movies I've seen in ages.
Never seen this movie, but when the text: A film by Guy Ritchie popped up. I was sold
I was pleasantly surprised by charlie hunnam's acting performance...and, by the way, by hugh grant as well
Charlie Hunnam is a phenomenal actor if you seen SOA you would know the man can give a truly great performance no one like him
This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Guy Ritchie is a genius.
Fantastic return to form for Richie
This was an amazing movie, can’t wait for a sequel 😂
This movie is just as good as any martin scorsese or david orussel movies in my opinion.
As Martin Scorsese? I think not, more likely Sam Mendes
I found this movie to be better than, Pulp Fiction.
@@themarathaman9624 yea i dont like pulp fiction. I don't understand the craze for that movie.
lol nah. It's better than lock, stock...but not better than snatch. And it wishes it was goodfellas or casino
this movie easily is in my top 10 of all time.. The song "cumberland gap" is also top 10..
boy oh boy, i love the old school british gangster movie
American/British/Irish 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇮🇪
I had a blast with this movie, it the calmest action movie ive seen but it does it really well bc of the story
Guy Ritchie’s movies are amazing
I have seen the movie only four times!
I bought the Track Suit as well.
I can`t get enough of this bloody movie!
Every scene is art in itself.
Colin Farrell just rules!
i love Matthew as well.
Heck everybody rules, especially the Downton Abbey Chick!
She is just class personified.
Yep.... "theres fuckery a float"
One of the best films ever made
I thought this was a beer commercial at first 😂
Charlie Hunnam and Hugh Grant comparing Tom Hardy impressions.
The best film that I have seen in a very long time!!!
Trebuie o interpatrundere ca sa vezi cat de captivant si ce traire iti …insufla acest film cu actori de valoare!
Exceptional!!🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠👏👏👏👏👏❤️🌹
Because I cant decide who is best, Guy Ritchie or Tarantino, I pick them both. Their movies are literally watchable 10 times as every time you will see something you missed .
0:12 secs .......’GRITCHIE’ ale!
That's guy richies brewing company, he makes beer as well as films. Also, Lore of the Land is a real pub.
This film is already cult!!! I love Guy Richie's film!!! And the cast :-o Beautiful!
and the words cult classic come to mind ... and it's fecking brilliant
Great movie, great characters, especially Collin,I loved him in this role
How have I never heard of this movie. Watching ASAP.
Hugh,Charlie and Matthew are amazing!🎬🌹💖
I feel classy when I listen to this song
fabulous intro. The song... Cumberland Gap....
Bravo! Incredible ensemble cast!
I saw this at the beginning of last year and I enjoyed it
My favourite film.....Guy Ritchie is a genius
love the music.
This is such a good film with such good dialogue and so many big actors. Or a "Great backstabbing syndrome ham to ham combat" if you will.
This film is art…
And a really good piece of art at that.
Saw the film yesterday, loved every SECONED.
It's a masterpiece
And on the beer pump gritchie English lore?
genius
Brilliant movie Guy Richie makes outstanding movies😎
My favorite movie!!!
Really enjoyed this film..
Doubt causes chaos and ones own demise..... yessssssir 💯
The moment when the music rise up is just EPIC
Hugh Grants best role.
Easily
Great song, great intro, great pub.
This movie is awesome.
This movie marked the return of Guy Ritchie for me
Excellent movie!!
Great movie from beginning to end, one of the few that is very re-watchable. I havent watched the series yet, kind of scared to given how high a bar the movie sets.
That opening song with the credits goes hard
This movie is awesome 😎. I love the story development and it's a ride for sure. Also it's very entertaining I have watched it 3-10 times already!
3 - 10? thats alot of wiggle room🙄
Simply the best🔥🔥🔥
No doubt !
Between Charlie Hunnam and Colin Farrel this couldn't be boring or ordinary. If Ritchie had been able to squeeze Tom Hardy in there it would have been epic.
Perfect!
Fantastic movie.
Best phuucking movie, Guy Ritchie's back!!!!💙🎶💯✌️❤️🎶💯💙
Going to do gntlmen again, just love coach...hes so funny. Just hav 2 more films o watch, daredevil, mmmm? N harts war. Wish i could see those others from ireland. .
I luv anything & everything with Matthew and/or Colin, but my NEW, MOST FAV IS DEF MR. HOTTY HIMSELF, Charlie Hunnam! OMG! I've been TOTALLY IN LUV since the first time I saw him in "Son's of Anarchy."🥰🔥
Reminded me of De Niro’s Casino.. the movie start with him getting blown up in his car
Wot??? Peaches 🍑 please!! Hugh Grant's on 🔥 Fire
The Gentlemen TV series looks amazing, especially the production. I think Theo James and Kaya Scodelario take the lead roles, and has guest appearances from Vinnie Jones Max Beesley ray winstone and Giancarlo Esposito.
So fucking good opening with this song so well picked and same with the way it’s shot insane!🍻🍻💯
Hue Grant created a wonderful character in this movie that he reprised in Operation Fortune Opposite Jason Statham and the wickedly talented Aubrey Plaza.
Dave Rawlings Cumberland gap what a great choice
My first thought was where do I get a suit like his
They sound so weird with the curses silenced!
It started as a Lincoln commercial
Any one notice the return of one of the old characters lord George I can't remember if he was killed in revolver or not
They killed it taking out the language
Yeah, swear words in their character's unique British area dialectics are hilarious and add to the scene.
I can't believe I missed this on the big screen 😧. Oh well Netflix on Christmas with the family will have to due.
It was never made for a movie theater. Strictly for Netflix 😊
@@frasermackenzie7275 🤔 That may explain a few things.
It’s kinda like Rock’n’Rolla
Como se llama la vanda de música
Phu uk what a great movie
Colin Ferrell Stole the show.
I'm surprised you didn't censor out "engorging" too
Dynamite opening song ! Dynamite movie, go USA !
Go USA ?
This film is about as English as it gets .
History
Class & education.
None of which you'll ever understand 😕
Matthew aside the only thing related to the USA in this movie is Guy’s EX wife.
Ok. Its. All. Good
Makes me bloody proud to be English 🏴
Mickey knew that where dave hand before so that's why he wouldn't shake his hand
What song is this ????
pLEASE HELP,, wHAT IS THE SONG NAME, TY
Buenas tardes Raymondo
Porque pide cerveza con un huevo?
Never sit with your back to the door... rookie mistake, I thought he was a pro?
Watch the film.
There are two doors, both on opposite sides, different corners.
There's no way he could sit facing them both at the same time, only one or the other.
Spoiler: he is a pro, and he has guards he trusts enough to not need to worry about doors.
So basically just the first 10 minutes of the movie?
What did Michael say to Rose
..state night tonight.. What does it mean?
What song is the intro
Cumberland Gap by David Rawlings
