To be fair, that character is from the states and seems appropriate to consider himself a lion in a foreign jungle, or the UK. But, Tiger might be a better choice, I prefer Lion myself.

As I recall, the irony of the whole movie is the guys who wanted to usurp his operation only had to wait and he would have sold it to them willingly. Instead, they started a fight they couldn't win and provoked him to stay in business.
He was willing to sell. The point of their attacks on his business was to drive the price down by several hundred million.

@@ragerontilt4778 Not at all. What I was saying is that he should've been worried knowing that Michael is right-handed, but that he was keeping his right hand hidden while they talked. Especially because he didn't like him to begin with.
It is a great scene just a shame it’s not a real event in the movie.

The video is incomplete compared to the theatrical release. After he poured, he used his right hand to stir the coffee, thus, giving the illusion that he was unarmed.

I like how when Dry Eye yells fuck, they directly cut to Phuc.

@@lowkey621 The sequel was more or less done with the latest Netflix series Ritchie released under the same title. All of Guy Ritchie's projects deserve sequels. He never fails to make an entertaining cinematic piece!
I literally just watched it and it’s was worth it
For those that don't know, there wasn't a sequel to this movie but a Netflix series under the same name done in the same universe released this past March. I strongly recommend watching it as it's just as entertaining as this movie is!
Thoroughly disagree. It starts strong but gets completely absurd while being utterly formulaic repetitive episode structures by number 4.
@@BarderBetterFasterStronger Opinions will just differ. I thought it really heated up after Ep 4. The twists and turns and backstabbings are so fun to watch. And the soundtrack is mesmerizing.

The full scene reveals that this isn’t what actually happens - it’s just a dramatic made-up version of the conversation. However, it’s still a cool scene.
I think that is the point where movie has multiple unreliable narrators :) Richie sometimes have good stuff like that.

yeah, I've been thinking about this scene for a while specifically because of the number. The only thing I can think of is that he was doing addition on his calculator with different figures for different parts of the business to come up with a total number offer. I think this because he looked at him and then it made him seem to think of something else and then added something else in. Either that or it was the biggest business deal in human history that didn't happen.
