Looking at getting this snail for my 2j leaning towards the 1050 though. What would you recommend mate the 900 or 1050 ?
900 is going to spool a little faster. Really depends on what you’re looking for. He uses the 1050 on his built 2J and makes nearly 1k whp with it. The 900 will get you at least 800 wheel or more.

The drain pissed me off on this I had to cut up a old coolant hose and weld it together and angle it 45 degrees amd.it barley clears . I've tried just about evey drain and it would either leak or rub against the turbo

No water lines hooked up to the turbo? hows your experience with running no water lines to the pulsar?
I don't run them on any of my cars. I look at it the same as any old gen turbo. I see the waterlines as preservation for daily driving 100k miles or hard driving, like road course or drifting
Why would you not run water in a water cooled turbo?

How did he stop the car from stalling when making a pull then staying in neutral with stock Ecu? Or does he have to be in gear as slowing down to prevent that thanks
It stalls often. Because the boost pressure going back through the maf.

Yeah you really have to learn the tricks. Best bet is to stick it in a higher gear and cruise to keep it from wanting to stall after a pull. The MAF is a real buzzkill.

Random question but I have a cx kit on my is300 and am trying to figure out if this turbo would fit or would it hit the firewall? I know your setup is a little different but just wondering how the clearance is

No point in adding filler when its 3/4 thick. More than enough material to run full heat and fuse.

Its a rev 9 manifold

@@RabidJz Hey thanks for the answer. Im looking at possibly getting one of those housings for my Pulsar G35-900 but im unsure if the whistle is on all the time even at low rpm and around town? Ideally its only on when the turbo is on load?
Whats Turbo drain length
It’s 650mm from Aeroflow Performance. It’s probably a tad too long but with it coming from Australia I didn’t want it to be too short and have to order another 😅
