Hello! In Brazil we call this pudim (pudding), but we put milk, condensed milk and eggs in a blender, blend it and then put in a mold that already has the caramel in the oven like in the vídeo. The amount of condensed milk is 6x more though. I love it!
Omg sooo good, I love caramel custard. My uncles would make them by a pressure cooker as they using small mason jar cups and man..so sweet😖💓. Hint of dash of cinnamon and extra sugar sweetness tasting like gold.
My mom’s easy recipe for delicious flan 🍮 Ingredients: 1 can of condensed milk 1 can of evaporated milk 4 eggs A bit of Vanilla extract (add to your liking) And Cajeta (for buttering up the pan) How to: Blend everything together and then place it in the pan buttered with Cajeta. You will have to place it in the oven “a baño Maria” which is basically putting in a bigger pan that contains water which will allow the flan to cook better. Place it in the oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes depending how thick the flan is. Make sure to do the stick test, if it comes out clean then its done. Another recipe she does is the same flan recipe but she changes the vanilla extract for Cream Cheese and its like a cheesecake tasting flan, very delicious!
You can also use this same recipe to make chocoflan! You make the chocolate cake box, pour it in a pan buttered with cajeta then pour in the flan. Make sure to pour slowly in the center so the flan can settle down at the bottom (looks pretty cool) and bake that at 350 for about an hour and a half “a Baño Maria” and do the stick test. Let it cool down then place in the fridge to serve chill
In Croatia it is called Rožata/Rozata, and it's without condensed milk and whipping cream. Its main ingredients are milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and a little bit of rum if someone likes.
