I own an Arex Delta Gen 2 L. It is simply a fantastic handgun, of great quality, very accurate, with great ergonomics; I just had the trigger group polished by a qualified gunsmith, added up a tactical gun light, and Voila! *The Arex Delta delivers performance!*

These weapons are fantastic! I am 74 years old, been a gunsmith since the late 60's. Carried a 1911 seems like...forever. Time change!! Bodies, eyes change. There is/was one issue with the Arex from the factory. Ready? The magazine release buttons. just a tiny bit hard to hit. Solution? Get a new bladed XACTO knife... trim down the plastic dam around the buttons. Then a little emery paper to finish it up. WOW! PERFECT! Didn't cost you anything, and you didn't even have to tear the weapon down to do it!! Oh, you CAN polish the top of the trigger transfer bar a bit... but there is no point of making the trigger "lighter" just a bit smoother. 300 trigger pulls and it does smooth up. I did some stippling on mine, front and back strap, and up a bit by where my finger rests. Perfect weapon, and even an old geezer can put 15 rounds out of 17 into a soup can lid at 15 yards. Easy carry... doesn't pull my pants down. Custom Kydex Holster.. I HIGHLY recommend it!

At a local gunstore, here in my country , I saw and handeled the Arex Delta 1 and also the Taurus G4X XL.... the look very alike. Love both of them, surely AREX Deltas are finer guns., but both are cool ! I really admire Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia and Checz Rep. They are Masters in doing things with good quality.
I own 3 Taurus guns and they all perform flawlessly
@@dronepilot260rc I own a G3C... great little gun. The local dealer in my country is importiing All Taurus Series and now the Taurus T4 in .223 REM, beautiful and reliable carbine. Taurus has improved quality in a 100% in the last years, specially due to their Production Plant in Georgia. But it is what it is, possibly AREX has higher quality in their materiales and production. But both are great brands

@@NoNo_IStay I don´t own one, but I love revolvers, sprecially the 3 inch or so., for 38spl and .357 mag. I even think that 8 or 10 round revolvers will long barrel in 22lr or magnum are devastating ; good for self defense in terms of damage to a sucker at 10 to 25 feet. Specially with hollow point. If you have revolvers let me konw about your experience. Regards
@@NoNo_IStay I used my friends 44 magnum long barrel and shot the cap off of a water bottle from 20 yards. Revolvers are fun and dead accurate
May not be exactly apples to apples, but I have always thought The Arex Delta series was missing from the debate when in comes to EDC concealables. You mostly hear people talk about comparing the P365, Hellcat, Glock 43, or Smith & Wesson. I've shot all but the Hellcat, carry the P365Xl, and to me the Delta fits right in.

Pretty fkn sweet. I like the grip, looks perfect. And the oversized triggerguard for gloves. We gotta see some American guns like this! The beveled nose is great too. Please do another vid with a can attached!!
I love my Arex Delta L. I custom fitted a Glock compensator with tritium sights, red dot sight, and flashlight. It shoots amazingly well. And it fits my hands very very well compared to the rest of my collection. The barrel is also safely rated for +P rounds. I really don't know why people haven't jumped on them. Esp when they are extremely cheaper (I got it for 350) than most and the quality is there.
Was looking at the full fat zero 1 tactical on their website and it looks awesome

Great review, just a heads up. You don't need to pull the trigger to disassemble the gun. It's one of its features

Man this video was right on time I been wanting to see a physical comparison in size. The other day I had like 5 windows open comparing the size specs with other firearms.
I have one of the optic ready m gen 2. essentially this, without the threaded barrel. I have the sup' sights and an mprd 2 on it. 20# spring. I LOVE that thing. carries well, shoots great. definitely a recommend.
Quick querrie, I have a Arex Defense Global Ordnance Arex Delta X Optic ready, 4" barrel. I love this firearm, except, the mag release is a pain. It does not release about half the time; has Global ever made the European extended releases available here. No joy when I contacted them. BTW, you are my favorite gun reviewer, no bull just the facts. Keepagrinning.
I will say that if your gun malfunctions in a gunfight, this IS the gun, that you want to have due to its easy reinstall by just placing the slide in almost the original position of just snapping slide into place.
I like that some of the holsters that host the G19 also fit this gun. I have the X version and really like this one. This one just feels right in the hand, at least for me.
That’s one of many things i like about the Arex. Currently running a safariland AlS glock 19 holster.
Alien gear makes holster specifically for Arex Delta gen 2 M and other models.

I have the grey gen 2 like the one in your video. This is an outstanding underrated modular pistol! I just bought and installed an X grip in od green that really accommodates my larger hands. The X grip also holds a 19+1 mag. It's not however as easy to change out grip modules as the Sigs or Berettas. You do have to knock out 2 roll pins and there are a 2 piece fcg to deal with. Not too bad though. Great review as usual Sootch!
How much? I love the look of this. Dont see it as compact though.
Bought a delta gen 2 loved the concealabilty and capacity but hated the awful trigger and snappy recoil . My wifes sw shield tracked flatter than it so i sold it and bought a bunch of caniks

The perfect carry really depends on your body size, if I try and carry my XDM ELITE 4.5 inch OSP with threaded barrel appendix IWB like I do my XDs Mod2 OSP with a 3.3 inch barrel it would be far more uncomfortable and would ultimately weight more too....
@@anthonyarcher7268 no I was also considering the MASADA SLIM, 43x or SIG p365 XL thank you very much...🤣😜 But yes I decided to stick with Springfield Armory strictly because of it's specs it's a great carry option!

@@jknewb6276 I feel that on a spiritual level the reason I got the hellcat instead of the pro is so I could use it in multiple roles like a broke bish from 11-15 rounds can be a cc or a home defense you can’t go any smaller with the pro

You didnt mention how hard it is to find a good holster for it and if your left handed or want a compitition holster you might as well forget it

What's the main advantage of having this gun vs all the other polymers on the market? Why should anyone get this over a psa dagger or something (besides things that can be modified like the trigger, sights, barrel, etc)?

I’m not a fan of the Arex grip module. Bul Armory Axe models have excellent grip modules/frames. Currently, I’m interested in three-3 handguns:
1. Walther PDP Pro
2. Bul Armory Axe Tomahawk
3. Sig P226 X5
Everything else is ordinary…
Only #3 isn’t ordinary. An everyday Walther and a Glock clone are hardly anything special.

Depends on what you'll do with it.
Masada is phenomenal, but a little bit large for carry. The Arex is smaller so better suited for carry.
Both have great triggers and both have limited after market support.
Hey man can you do me a HUGE favor and verify if the PPQ or PDP mags fit in the Arex? I am thinking about getting one but they passed this stupid 10 rnd mag limit in Washington but I have bunch of PDP and Glock mags. Good stuff, thanks man.

Did arex fix the magazine release, I own both the L and M the only ding on both is the ambi magazine release is a pain to make it work at times.
You can get an extended mag release from Global Ordnance.

I replaced my plastic plate with a calculated kinetics type 2 for my 508T. Not saying the plastic isn't capable, but was a good upgrade, imo.

An Aliengear Cloak series holster will keep your Xd close to your body. Give them a look.
That thing needs a dogtag optic plate from calculated kinetics. If they make one. That's my only complaint on optics ready pistols. The lens gets dirty so quick from crap out of the breech during firing schedules longer than one mag.

how do you like it compared to the canik tp9 elite SC and xdm elite?
It carries better than the Canik and Springfield, however the trigger on the Canik wins hands down. I carry this along with the Elite SC. The round capacity was a big selling point for me as well as it's profile. I would take this over a P365XL any day.

DO NOT carry te 17 rd mag as a backup
and I dare say as a proimqry carry mag. They are prone to shatter easily. One of mine shattered when hitting flier when dropped. I’ve owned mine over years or so. If you drop this spare in a gun fight when trying to reload -- you’re going to be in only loading to rounds.
hopefully arex realizes that people want to upgrade their current guns and not buy an entirely new gun for 3 upgraded features.
This gun has all the bells & whistles of the Shadow Systems G19 clone at a third of the cost. Can't break this thing.
Re holsters works with; CYA G19, early Bravo Concealment G19 and Cebecci Arms leather IWB for Walther P99 full size.
This is for the Gen2 M w out threaded barrel.
Crimson Trace laser-light combo can be fitted with some minor fiddling as well.
you compare it to the p365xl which is hilariously smaller than that.. closer comparison would be hellcat pro or G48😂 and even still, it’s thicker than those

The loaded chamber indicator is a joke and a waste of engineering and more cost to the consumer, no one wants it and a company that doesn't realize something that simple is a company I don't trust and as a shooter if you need to feel in the dark for a bump to tell you if you have a round chambered then you shouldn't own a gun. I'm sure the gun is decent but I won't be buying it! Great review though sootch00, love your channel!

Glock 19 is considered a compact. What does compact mean to you? This Delta is similar in size to the Glock 48.
