Sounds like a game only for rich people.
its made for pro pc gamers, so yes it is for rich people
console/phone games made pc games trash, so he wanted to make a game that pushed the limits of pc gaming and ONLY for pc gaming
Tree "PRO" gamers *WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA* There is no such thing as "PRO" gamers hahaahahahah
You can play the game without paying anything but the game starter packages, once the game will be released, but for now you pay for a ship to support the developpement because it's still in developement.
You just need to purchase the game. For $45.00 USD, you get the Star Citizen MMO. If you spend $60.00 USD then you also get Squadron 42, which is a full single player campaign. Those packages allow you to choose between 2 ships. These are the free beginner starter ships: The Mustang Alpha or the Aurora MR. Those prices are no different than you would spend on any other Triple AAA game at release. In fact it's cheaper and for 60 bucks you get 2 games.
Anything else you choose to spend beyond that is simply extra support to help fund development. In appreciation, you are given the option of upgrading or choosing another ship based on your donation. Yet none of that is required. Upon release, at launch, you will be able to earn every ship through in-game credits.
1un4cy North Korean president approved!
Hey! Its May 2018, will this method still work if I sign-up now for the first time? Are they still doing these sales with the lifetime option on new concepts? Please let me know and thanks in advance!
What if those concept ships don't come out anymore and I end up wasting my time and money by buying the package I don't want and waiting all that time for them? (How much was it? A couple months, that's a long time, can I get a more accurate time frame?) Plus why don't they sell LTI separately man since so many people want it?
Dang son I ant got the money to buy a starter package AND a concept ship AND THEN pay the difference on the ship upgrade.
Boyyy I can barely afford the starter package lol
Stuff like this is why people say Star Citizen is a scam.
LTI was meant to be a bonus for the original backer at the start years ago. But when it stop they found that people stopped buying so many big ships so they added it back again. They pissed of the original backers when they went back on it but that's not a scam.
The Concept Sale is NOW ON if you wanted LTI, but hurry up because it ends tomorrow morning.
nooblets.com Have you played elite dangerous on your channel? If you haven't please do.
Its a good game and cheaper ;) But I will not play it until you can capture npc ships
nooblets.com ark had a new update for xbox one do you mind going over why they took away admin commands or just all of it in general
What if you buy a game package that has lti and upgrade from there? Does it carry over lti
Plus under what tabs do I find those concept sales, I don't want to miss it or worse never find it?
Thanks for making this video. Good clear explanation. I brought a package years ago as a kickstarter and have LTI on a ship. I wasn't sure how it works these days, as it looks like things have changed a bit, and so I wanted to find out. This was back in 2017, so is it still like this? On a side note - Isn't it a bit cheeky to expect people to pay $300 for something they could lose entirely six months after the game comes out? Considering the game is still in Alpha! These ships don't actually cost CIG anything once they are created remember... they are virtual! They can spin up thousands for nothing and sell them for hundreds, so you would have thought they could at least let backers keep them.
When is the next Concept Sale coming and where do I find it (under what tabs)?
Is The Life Time Insurance going to be purchasable once the game launches as an in game feature?
For example I could insure my ship (Avenger Titan) for say, 20,000 aUEC (just a guess) and that would yield 3 months of insurance.
If this is the scenario then it isn't so bad. However it would be nice to see a Lifetime insurance that is 100,000 aUEC or something.
they have said insurance prices will be almost nothing. Idk how accurate it is but I heard someone say it will be like the price of a magazine of ammunition = 7 uec. I doubt it will be quite that low but it will probably be less than 1000.
You are the smartest uploader ever. Thx a lot
How to get LTI:
1-Pay minimum 45$ for a LTI concept Dragonfly.
2-Pay to upgrade another 60$ for a medium profit ship like Cutlass or even 250$ more for a beautiful Constellation Andromeda.
Enjoy your new ship in a GAME IN ALPHA after paying like 6 games at the same time.
I LOVE SO MUCH this game but it's worth to pay this amount of money?
No one is forcing you to buy more ships. I love the game and I only paid $60
This process has been updated, it is no longer possible to upgrade from one ship to another and keep the amenities that come with the new ship. Now when upgrading, one maintains the previous ships amenities. Thus upgrading from a ship with only 6 months to one with more than 6 months will retain the six months insurance.
What if I upgrade my mustang to a nox, then to a connie. Will I get 6mo insurance or lti?
So I can buy this one ANVIL C8X PISCES EXPEDITION - STARTER PACK WARBOND - IAE 2949 and later use the LTI for a Freelancer max?
Dont you need the Digital Star Citizen Manual and the Star Citizen Digital Download included?
If you melt your starter package you lost it all. You might have an upgraded standalone ship but no game to play when it starts.
First I watch all your awesome Ark videos. Now I find you playing SC. I thought I had read that LTI is going away with 3.2 or something. True or did I just misead?
Is it possible to upgrade your Starter Ship to a Concept ship to obtain LTI?
No. Insurance stays the same when you upgrade.
You can also buy many ships ingame. Don't fall for that LTI hype. Insurance will be cheap and not a "gamebreaker".
But when you buy them in game it'll cost you UEC to insure them. This method is for people anal enough to pay real money (and jump through a few hoops) for LTI. This will ultimately save players time and UEC if their ship gets blown up or jacked.
Nice advice. Thanks.
I don't and won't play this game but I still watched and liked because it's Steve. Plus I play ark and like you kain and mishbah
this still applies ? are there any concept sales now ?
It looks like people don't understand the concept of funding for this game. It isn't that different to EA but instead of paying money for the game, you get the game and a ship and watch it being developed. Cheapest package is clearly stated in the video and you can fund the game more by buying more expensive ships but totally unnecessary. I liked the concept of this game and bought the cheapest package a long time ago but haven't even installed it. Just happy to fund what look to be good games, I haven't played about 10 EA games in my library. Consider the competition in this genre, Elite Dangerous, which is absolute garbage, I am hoping this one comes good.
I got a very good question: So if I want to have more than 1 ship with LTI do I have to buy more than 1 concept ship so that each one can be upgraded to the ships I want?
yes, get a small ship with LTI then upgrade it ruclips.net/video/mIANnDbBkXY/видео.html
I dont know. All the contend right now is so expansive, and this insurence cost. I see a lot of ships. Can i play this game without buying one of the ship packages? Is there a free starter ship for all beginners?
You just need to purchase the game. For $45.00 USD, you get the Star Citizen MMO. If you spend $60.00 USD then you also get Squadron 42, which is a full single player campaign. Those packages allow you to choose between 2 ships. These are the free beginner starter ships: The Mustang Alpha or the Aurora MR. Crucible King Thanks
They have occasional Free Fly weekends where you can play without buying, and fly a variety of ships.
Wait! Are those real dollars? Are people paying that for a virtual ship?
Prof. Awesome yup 😅🔫
This is interesting but I think it's kinda silly that you have to deal with insurance in a video game. I do agree that you would treasure your ship more and be more cautious with it. But to me I see it as a cash grab from players and a hindrance later on. I think if you die or lose your ship it should re spawn where you would re spawn at with some of your loot gone so your hours are not totally wasted, like at the nearest space port or space station. If they implement an insurance system that is easily purchasable with only the in game currency or with a premium that you can pay for if you want for the casual or the everyday player then I would be ok with that. But in the end I think that it's kinda weird lol. Great video man!
Alas, Z2u delivery fast yes!
I'd buy one of these, but this stuff is expensive shit and i'd never play it without LTI period. Its bullshit and classist to have it so expensive
KingdomHeartsss but they need some help,(160,000,000 in the bank).
Anyone know the current LTI ship? if one?
4:45 "imposibow"
Lol i forgot this game existed but i bought a ship on november 25th 2012 lol
Insurance has said to just be a cool mechanic mostly for pirates, because when they steal a ship it won't have insurance- so they need to spend a lot of money scrubbing the ship. As for the price of insurance, it will be dirt cheap similar to fuel.. so I wouldn't really worry about losing your ship
that's unfortuante because it makes the game meaningless when you lose your ship with no consequence.
Christ Almighty no wonder this is the highest crowd funded game. People literally throw money at it for the pleasures of having virtual assets.
i think i really should upgrade my lti anvil arrow to a constellation andromeda, what do you guys think ?
this game has become a money pit, just keep shoveling those dollars in.
Is this information still viable?
yes
but watch my BEst ways to buy star citizen vid its better
Does this still work?
A friend of mine said it do not.
ofcourse it still works i just did it on the last sale
@@NOOBLETS Awesome! I brought a hawk a while back I want to exchange for a super hornet or saber . I wouldn't mind one of those titans either.
if the hawk has lti if best to ungrade it to the better ship so it keeps the lti ;)@@PugDungeon
LTI is the worst thing they could of added to the game, i duno wtf they were thinking and ive heard all the excuses and saying you lose all your cargo and upgrades to the ship ect but still, you know when your playing you'll never lose your ship
han solo lost his ship, and so should we if we are dumb enough or get outsmarted
Tree Because YOU CAN BUY LTI WITH INGAME MONEY LATER ON, OR EVEN HAVE A FEW MONTH OF INSURANCE
wait so to play the game I need to buy a ship package worth at least£100?
You saw the one for $54 right?
its 45 $ for game with starter ship
You do not need LTI. You are trying to be astonished at the price that you don't need to pay. This video is instructional for a specific goal.
When is ep 3 of ark?
It was a bad day, and will take time to edit, but tommorrow ;)
nooblets.com ok thanks 👍🏽
People don't understand that this game is in early alpha. The prices for the ships will most definitely go down, and there will be way to get those ships with in-game currency. The prices are only like this currently because the developers need money to actual develop the game. Believe it or not that costs quite a bit of money.
we're the he'll is ark?
actually my auto correct is broken
it is supposed to say. where the hell is ark
I PLAY OTHER GAMES AS WELL!
lol but I'm way more interested in ur awesome ark videos
I feel awful to support this game and pledge money to them! I have been waiting for this video and now it is too late, it's not like it matters because I thought this LTI is going to be free as promised. Life is too short and these people (game devs) are milking us dry! I recommend getting Hellion instead, dirt cheap and exceeds what I like to call STAR SHITIZEN!
You still can melt your package and do this again
Thanks for respond. How can I do that?
How did hellion work out for you lol
does this still work?
Yes it should always
they have hawk now with lti
good point :)
dang it 4th
Or better idea... buy LTI in-game for in-game currency.
is it available ? i have bought my ship but didn't started playing , it was more for he crowfunding that curiosity
but it seem LTI is important so i am kinda curious now lol
LTI only comes with the original concept ships developed during the Alpha stage. In game insurance will be nominal tho...credits are really easy to come by in the game. It just depends what you ultimately want to do in the game how and how involved you want to be.
why is everything cost real money thats ridiculous
HitMonLeeSin you are ridiculous
wow! Is z2u credible? yah!
Noobs please start a series on Elite Dangerous, much love xx
jesus christ, I want to get in to star citizen but EVERYTHING costs money. Want a new ship? better pay up a ludricous amount. Want to upgrarde your ship? Here is a 5 dollar charge for that minute change that costs us litteraly nothing. You already pay a lot for a buggy as shit game which is in alpha en throws away all that you've worked for every 3 months. Nobody reminds you of that so you have to get disappointed by surprise...
Ironically these videos actually convinced me NOT to pledge. Spending real-world money on a virtual ship that dudes can just steal, unless you spend MORE real world money to buy a dinky concept ship and then upgrade it for hundreds? Nah brah. Nah.
you can get ingame insirance for next to nothing in ingame currency, atm you don't even need insurance till games is released properly. not at any period during testing do you need insurance, you can freely and instantly reclaim your ship.
his voice......
Yes
This game seems like a massive rip off... $300 for some non-existent entity... cool ship but shit...
You wouldn't be buying the $2000 one then ;)
nooblets.com wait so how I understand it you can buy a $2k ship that can be destroyed and you have to get a new one because if so fucking shit I ant buying that game
You get LTI with it, so after time you will get a replacement
People... ALL YOU NEED to play the game is a starter package. $45 plus whatever taxes you pay in your country. *YOU DO NOT NEED TO SPEND HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS on a ship.* The people who buy these expensive ships are in fact contributing to the crowd-funding of the game. All these other ships will be available for in-game currency.
When release day finally comes, you will no longer be able to buy ships with real money. You'll have to do some grinding for them. Being able to buy them now is just a sort of "reward system" for helping fund the game's development.
lol, Is z2u credible? yep,
this game is just a money grab whatever happened to buying a game and playing it to unlock better stuff
That's exactly how this game works. It's currently $45.00 USD and you play to unlock better stuff.
Lmao you don't know what REC is now do you.
angry try hard lmfao whats it like to fail at youtube
The game is simply $45 bucks, which is cheaper than any Triple AAA title at release. For $60 you get both Star Citizen and Squadron 42. There is no subscription fee and when the game launches you can earn every ship in-game as you play. Anything else you wish to donate to development is up to you and not required. I don't see how that's a money grab.
Crucible King what the 54$ for a ship or the 330$ to upgrade it and this game is not a money grab 🤔

This game is pay to win. I could just buy real house instead of paying for this game lol.
lol,a real money sink this one, sending people broke.,Star Citizen.Didn’t they get an absolute shedload of money for free in the kickstarter?Chris Roberts is already rich,I would rather give money to a starving bloke in an alleyway, this bloke was already rich then begged for millions and millions in a kickstarter now has the audacity to charge for every piece in the game, like a spacesuit,a weapon or hundreds of dollars for a single ship, then the insurance bullshit, absolute scam, they charge a price for everything in the game, don’t like how greedy the game industry is becoming, look at Destiny, taking a full game ,splitting it up into pie pieces and charging for each piece so everyone is paying five times what the original game would have cost, some real shenanigans in the game industry today.Exploitation.People will no doubt fall for this, the rich like North Koreans president will stand on their soapbox and go this is capitalism, deal with it,while there will be poor who will lose their wives, families because of the amount of money spent.Looks like 500 minimum will be vacuumed from gamers from Chris Roberts who already got a huge bag of millions sent to him on a kickstarter, stinks!
This game will go the way of ea if the devs try microtransaction shit in game, people aint taking this shit anymore, game publishers play us for fools but not anymore.
The gaming industry,so fucking greedy.
163,000,000 made from kickstarter,what a joke!
poo game
