- Today we fit the optional GR Yaris camber bolt direct from Toyota (Part Number 90105-17015) this part is different to the stock bolt as it has 3 dot on the back of the head of the bolt. We fit them down at A-Line Alignment and see what difference they make and are they worth it?

Fitted these, plus an anti-lift kit, stronger torque mounts, engine and gearbox bushings. Completely transformed the car and removed the understeer on corner exit (an issue with these cars when you're on it).
Hi, very useful video. Why did you change the top bolt when the Toyota manual seems to indicate that the lower bolt should be changed?
I was going on the advice of the alignment shop and what previous owners have done.
Hi, your rear camber is different than stock, just wondering how you made that without replacing the arm
that's the stock figures that the car came with. I haven't changed any rear suspension parts.
hello there! Great work! I have 2 questions if it possible to answer: 1) at what Nm did you torque the replaced bolts? 2) did you jack it up first and then you torque them? thanks in advance!
We did them to 275Nm of torque. We jacked up the car on the alignment to get correct alignment. Then tightened up the bolts but not all the way. Lowered it. Checked it was ok. Then tightened up to spec.
Hope that helps.
@@FaithlessEmoRacing thank you!!!
So, did it go round corners noticeably better with the changed camber?
I’ve not had a chance to really push it. But does feel lighter on its toes compared to before.
Nice video! Why the difference in camber left & right?
@@maxseminck8060 so it’s very hard to get it exactly the same both sides with these bolts. You have to raise the car off the ground. Loosen the bolts and then tighten up and then drop back down. Then check. If you had all day it would be fine to get it exactly the same.
In reality a proper camber bolt would give you a better result.
@@FaithlessEmoRacing ok makes sense thanks 😊
Il bello sarà quando ti si muovono da soli e ti cambia il il valore del camber senza saperlo. Non è corretto un bullone in quella maniera, occorre eccentrico
