New sub, the reason I watch is mainly because of the Historical content. Not everyone's cup of tea, but its certainly mine. The reason I subscribed is because of your enthusiasm. Great job, keep it going.
Great report! Couple of things for the Romans. The support attacks and general shouldn't have gotten the -1 to your save bonus, if I recall correctly. And the Romans the were shaken should have taken a break test for being shaken/shattered in combat even though they won the combat.
Rob Prince thanks for the knowledge on the rules. I'll try to perfect it it next time :) don't forget to check out the new hail Caesar Mega game from January 2017
lol the Roman leader is the same model I have, his name is Lucius Vorenus. EDIT: When I start making videos again, I'll defo link your channel, this is great stuff for Hail Caesar and Historical war gaming fans.
Looking to start historical war gaming in ancient era. Would you recommend kings of war, hail Caesar, or warhammer historical to someone who enjoys realism and lore and is relatively new to war gaming in general?
Al Haralambos I would recommend Kings of War historical. for two reasons reason number one the Footprints of the units are all standardized: a standard unit of five cavalry come on 25X50mm bases or a standard unit of 20 Infantry are five across four ranks deep on 20x20mm bases. the second reason I recommend Kings of War historical is that the rule set is 30 pages. you'll be able to build both Romans and Gauls and start playing and immediately. not to mention Mantic has several plastic trays and wooden trays to assist with the system. you can also play a large game of historical battle with relative ease in a matter of an hour's time.
Go the Greeks ,managed a draw against the 'poxy' romans ,well done! My Wild Irish will be taking the field against romans soon enough and these games help me a lot ,thanks.
Good game and really nice looking miniatures ! Holy diver 🤘 you rock
thx for chill'in
