Colder climate but we have redback spiders which are similar to the black widow spider, I think it's pretty nasty if they get you but I don't know anyone who has been bitten personally. 3 species of snake all of which are venemous, the snakes are honestly very afraid and you aren't going to see them usually unless they flee, the risk of them is they go to sleep in a box in your garage or something and you accidentally disturb them. Pretty rare although there are professional snake handlers who you can call up to remove them.

@RoosterRC kings is all but dead in my region. I'm not all in as a full on fan boy either. The game is a 2 out 5 mechanically. Me and my group have been playing the crap out of conquest last argument of Kings

@d6wounds it's all good the player base is learning the game and some have put gradual work in from last time. The skaven was a loner someone dropped after 2nd game

@@historicaldoppelganger i've managed to paint up around 2500pts of night goblins since April. Play at my local club and i'd say 90% of the games i play are against grey armies.

@@holydiver539 conquest is the biggest game on the store near my place, i didnt get into it because of its 54mm scale. if it was in 28mm i would have not thought twice on getting into it.

Despite playing 3 tournaments iv not been matched into Brets yet. But they're obviously going to be very popular, they're one of the top 2 armies, which are also both in the starter box. It's still cool to see them getting played, how long before it gets old idk.

@@holydiver539 Imperial officer. Run one Steel Legion, one hunter cadre, one crossbow men and 6 stands of gilded legion. Then run 6 stands of household guard with the noble lord and a stand of longbow men. Also add in some men at arms and household knights. Then run a third leader with whatever you like.
