- So after a week of tweaking out in my basement like CRACKHEAD ROACH! I’m finally gonna bring da Green Skins into battle. This is not only the first game of Warhammer the Old World but also my first of many battle reports for WTOW. ‘Ere we go Orcs and Goblins vs Tomb Kings 1600 points.

Just a few things I noticed you may want to have a look at for the next one:
Wyvern could have stomped Necrosphinx.
Wounds saved by regeneration still count towards combat resolution.
Close order stacks. Two units give +2, 3 units give +3 and so on.
Remember the Choppa rule. Not sure if it came up, but you mentioned the sword of might being good. It is, but you are trading away the choppas, so it's more costly for orcs compared to other armies.
There is no restriction on unit frontage. Go as wide as you want.
You have to beat the casting roll when you dispel. Rolling equal to it is no longer enough.
I didn't get the charge with any of my orc regiments so choppas didn't come up. How could the wyvern stomp the sphinx 😵💫😵💫

@@holydiver539 Clarification on stomps: There is no longer anything that presents monsters from stomping monsters. It's just an extra attack at Initiative 1.
Behemoths have the Thunderstomp rule in addition to Stomps which gives their stomps AP-2, but THIS cannot be used vs other monsters. So stomp away with the Wyvern.
@@holydiver539 Oh, and Big uns doesn't give AP. It gives Armor bane, so only AP on 6s.

@@holydiver539 What? No! You can stomp him. He can stomp you back. However, the AP-2 he gets for being a Behemoth troop type is not applied to the Wyvern. It is however applied to the Black orcs, just as you played it.

It's great seeing fantasy return. I've not grabbed the rules yet but I look forward to giving it a try.
Of course, this being me, I read the Skaven rules. They took away our slaves. For a race that's whole shtick is that they fight themselves and enslave the defeated Clan, it's a entertaining to see them remove that... And we all know why.
It's nice to see some miscast/ misfire charts, too.

I'm loving this edition of Warhammer. Great Batrep!!! I'm looking at starting Orcs and Gobbos. Boar Boys seem really strong

You must beat the casting role not equal it. Black orcs have lower leadership because they don't have warband, but they do stop impetuous and their charge is great! I've been using a small unit of Black orcs of 12 in the back lines with the orc shaman so he gets the +1 casting. I have no idea why the giant spider costs more than 200pts!
310 on the big azz spider is a bit much I'm still putting lists together trying to figure out. I've learned so much from making this video thx for the comment. Talk to me anytime👻👻
Looked like a great game. Black Orcs should definitely be immune psychologically.
I can make them veterans for an additional point But then the price goes up to 14 points per guy😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
For a one-time fall back in good order move after a bad cqc.
This is the funnest part of the game for me making the points be efficient and economical 👻
You are forgetting to count the wounds saved by regen when doing combat resolution. Even if they are saved, they count.

I don't really have a opinion on demons khorne and nurgle are better than the other 2 model wise
fiends seem overcosted :D
@iikkakangas2586 a lot of things that were good in 8th got a slight points bump
@@iikkakangas2586 Since Slaanesh's holy number is 6, I think GW sometimes makes it a gimmick to make them 66p. But since they have high M, I and their Musk, I think that makes them expensive too.
Are you using the increased base sizes? The tomb kings look like they are on 20mm.
We are going to use trays and shoes to be legal. He was on 20mm

Old World looks a lot like 6th Ed.
I honestly think OPR Age of Fantasy Regiments is just a better version of Warhammer. Alternating activations alone makes for a way more enjoyable playing experience.
