Well done Martin & Robin, endorse the fact that the games don't necessarily have to be epic to be interesting. Think the Messenger mechanics worked well although they certainly had to dodge & weave (& blunder 😆) to get off. Martin, The castle is the Mutts Nuts btw. Thanks again Gents👍
Agree. I’ve been holding off moving to Hail Caesar and multi-basing because I was worried I wouldn’t have enough units soon enough to have interesting games (I paint slowly and have no opponents so need both sides to play solo) but this convinced me. It can be done!
It can definitely be done, in the last few games we have had no more than 9 units and in this one realistically only abiut 5 each that were really doing anything 👍
I am so very glad that Robin and you are still making this campaign. Your videos have turned me on to tabletop gaming. Love the Dead Man's Hand vids. And a warm hello from Tampa, Florida, USA
Thanks very much, I really enjoyed all our WOTR games, there will be another soon.its a great period to get into as everyone probably fought each other at some point so you can pretty much do whatever you want 👍
Thanks for an entertaining battle report! I actually caught up a bit on painting while watching this! PS even though three documentaries later I STILL don't quite understand the WOTR, I love how you guys are running a campaign!!!
Haha its definitely not an easy ride getting your head around it what with all the changing sides, murder, executions and then other bits. Really pleased you like the report 👍
I love these scenarios and the little rules additions, it really broadens the game and the period. I know I've said this before, but you have a great eye for a table layout.
Glad you enjoyed it, my forces were 6 units of Bill and Bow under the Bastard of Fauconberg and 2 units of Bill and Bow and a songle unit of Foot knights under Sor John Coyners. Robin had 9 units under the Duke of Suffolk however he spilt them so 4 stayed in the castle. I keep meaning to add a more comprehensive list of the forces so this is a good reminder 👍
Yes!!! Looking forward to this! Have you more ECW coming? I was inspired by your good self to delve into the period and I'm now rapidly painting up a force led by jolly old Rupert lol
@@7thson726 Oh by the way was thinking it might be cool if there's a chance that unsupported or shaken units would defect to the enemy rather than being destroyed on a break test or perhaps as a possible result on a blunder in the wofr supplement, in sort of a Blore Heath manor. i don't know just an idea.
Hi Andrew, welcome to an absolutely awesome period to model and game 👍 for me the best place to start is to grab one of the infantry boxes and have a go at a few units. There are various army deals out there but you can get a decent sized force from a box of Perry WOTR infantry, men at arms and light horse (for example) I've done a video on how i went about it here if its if use ruclips.net/video/NhdmtIraMV0/видео.html
Hi Martin just watched your video which you sent me the link to and it was very informative what information do have on load Stanley and what role did he play thanks
Thanks very much 👍 do you mean the command / order rolls, if so i would however it would add so much time to the reports, proabably another 45 minutes or so. I habe thought about it 👍

Thanks for putting this up, really enjoyed the narrative that fell from play. Always good to see 'dining table' battles with 28's as that is my world.
Thanks mate, i think 75% of people will be the same so its fun to ahare what can be achieved 👍
A great looking game that looked like it was played in a good spirit. Thank you.

Great game. All down to the last turn, great stuff.
I couldn't believe it, i think if youboause it you can pinpoint the moment i nearly had an aneurysm when he rolled that 3 move blunder at the end 👍
Great game some of the luckiest unluckiest 🤔 lol rolling I’ve seen in a game looking forward to the next one 👍
Haha maybe that should5be the tag line - the luckiest of the unluckiest haha 😅

Hi there, thanks very much glad to hear you enjoyed it. There is more ECW coming, another battle report should be out in June 👍😁
What material are your tracks made out of ? Thanks for sharing your great videos!
Hi there, they are bought from Last Valley Terrain, but they are made from hardboard and various fillers i think 👍
Very nice! Is this Perry Miniatures?
It is indeed 👍
Great battle report, are we going to see a bombard in the siege?
It would be rude not to really 😉😁

Hey Martin good BR. How’s Ted ? Haven’t seen him .
