Great video! I started as a PM last month and while PM wasn't on my first plans (actually, I intended to become a librarian because I have a graduation degree), I found myself thinking how Library Science and Project Management have a lot in common, especially when you said about making all the things go in the smooth way
I'm trying to rediscovery myself in this role and I really like your content!

Thanks for creating this video! I am working on creating tools to support my teams that manage projects but are not experienced project managers and this is a great intro to share with them.

Thanks for the video. It was so calm and relaxing. I'm subscribing just of the strength that you made the content to explain being a PM to its simplistic form. There is so much ups and downs, smiles and frowns when it comes to being a PM. However, as kings and queens it should never detour us from dropping our crowns! Thanks King for providing valuable content. God Bless You!

Many corporations are using the project manager as a Secretary Assisting teams.
In fact many big companies converted Secretaries and named them Project Managers.
And the most valuable skills are:
    1. Schedule meetings
    2. Take notes- scribe
    3. No voice, no leadership, just following orders

That's not half of what a PM should be but I can totally see that happening. A good administration assistant is not a bad job, guess they just wanted to make the title sound more fancy or they are hopping on a bandwagon when they honestly had no real need for a true PM.
I would take advantage of having that title to spring board to a real PM job with more pay and I would actually try to use and adopt some PM tools while in that role.

Hey man! I am in my last year of grad school and I am very interested in getting into project management. I don't have any work or internship experience because I was a college athlete. Do you have any advice on where to start and if you know of any specific companies that offer internship programs. I appreciate it so much!

Hey McGwire - I recommend starting with your school & reaching out to any resources you have there first. Then, start thinking about what industries you have interest in. Finally, just keeping applying. Goodluck with your last year of grad school!
