Construction Project Managers can have different responsibilities depending on what company they work for. Smaller companies will sometimes use you as the Project Manager and job Superintendent, among other non-project management duties, duties that at larger companies would be filled by separate individuals. In a situation like that, just having the ability to manage a project will not be enough. You will need actual hands-on experience in the type of construction that you're managing. But this will not always be the case, as I've seen companies fill the position of Project Manager with people who have different attributes other than construction experience. Some of these attributes being earned, while others they were just born with.

Hi! Thanks for watching! There are hundreds of training courses out there. Other than a Google search, you may want to check the PMI.org web site. They have many courses.
Hi Elvis, this is not only a very useful presentation but a brilliant simplified version to explain the PM role. I absolutely love it. Just subscribed 🎉😊 oh and do you have any similiar video presentations about a Delivery Manager role?? Or a video about the differences and similarities between PM and DM roles?
Hi! I don't have a video on the DM role, but I can tell you here that the delivery manager role is often found at larger companies, especially Consulting firms. At a smaller company project managers also act as delivery managers. Where it exists, a delivery manager is typically a slightly more elevated role than that of a project manager. A project manager runs the day to day project and team, while a delivery manager tends to own the customer relationship. They spend their time managing customer relationships. A delivery manager will typically have multiple projects under their responsibility and project managers sort of report up through them as delivery managers ultimately own the relationship with the customer. I hope this helps!
I am new venturing into the PM space. I must confess that this is worth my time. I now know how to venture into the career. Thanks for sharing this honest video. I appreciate. I will reach out to you via the email you provided at the end of the video.
How can someone be this sincere.? God bless you. I'm a Project Manager and I approve this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best video i've seen. Thank you for the valuable information.
