- I am so excited I can hardly stand it, yep I bought a sewing machine. This sewing machine has changed my sewing drastically. I still need my other sewing machine for decorative stitches but this will be my main squeeze for the foreseeable future. I purchased my machine from the store below

Why on Earth are you not famous? 🙌🏿👌🏿💪🏿 Brilliant, and hilarious video! Thanks. And I've just contacted my store to buy one 😉.
James you made my day. Thank you so much for leaving a comment. You will not be disappointed with this machine.
When you commented, "i didn't even tell my husband that i bought two machines instead of one.." I laugh so hard, funny we all can relate to that...
I am currently, covertly, probably going to buy another sewing machine. And lug the huge box past him without a word. And get very defensive if he says anything like "But you already have two sewing machines????"....
Gigi vh the joke in our family ( with one person excepted ) is that one fear in my life is that when I “pass on” my husband will sell my quilting stuff for what I told him I paid for it!!!!!!!! My daughter goes into hysterics over that one. I now have 6 machines and considering another. By the way my fourth is a 2010 TL. Ha! Ha!
@@dorsetboronia6744 I did buy a new machine. He didn't even notice. I have the same fear as you. Maybe why women haunt estate sales...lol.
@@Kayenne54 we do have a few laughs don’t we. Best wishes to enjoying your machine.
@@dorsetboronia6744 I imagined your scenario. Hubby waving his hand towards my craft room. Asks kind stranger "how much do you reckon?" and stranger says "Wellll...conservatively, about $25,000"...Hubby meets me in hell and has a strong word or two to say...things like 'bare faced liar" and "hoarder" and similar...
We are LOVING your video!!!!! We TOTALLY do care! We are so excited!!!!! Thank you for choosing Janome!!!!!
Thank you so much for leaving a comment this means the world to me.
See, this is why I love JANOME! I have a MC12000, and couldn’t be happier ♥️❤️💕. But, I do see the M7 coming soon 😀
Oh my! I don’t own a Janome but the fact they bothered to comment and sound so genuinely enthusiastic makes me pause for a moment 🤔. BTW enjoying your video so far, very relatable, I don’t like having people watch me either, all of a sudden, I sew like a noob 😂

Girl, what a great idea about the bobbin running off a spool of thread. I have never thought of this. SOMEONE should make this happen!
Right, in this day and age how isn't this a thing?
Thanks for sharing your experience into purchasing a new sewing machine! I really enjoyed listening about your venture.
Thanks for watching
Thank you for the wonderful review of this sewing machine. I went right out and bought one. ❤️
I really believe that you will love it
Fantastic video! I feel like I just watched my coolest friend set up her new machine and now I want one too! Thanks for sharing your journey. I just subscribed and can't wait to see all the quilts and bags you make 😀
Thank you so much for leaving this comment. You made my day. I can't wait to bring you along on this journey with me.
Omg I love your video sooooo much! Literally comparing these 2 machines so the title snagged me, but your ENERGY!! New sub, can’t wait to see more 💛
Awww thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment I have so much more coming. Welcome to the club
What a lovely presentation and introduction (for me) to your channel! I have a Janome Mega Quilter, love it, love it!! Enjoy your new machine! Gosh and you are HILARIOUS!! Totally love this video!!!
I am so glad you found this channel. I love this machine so much. Thanks for leaving a comment
I'll be buying the HD9 BE next week. Can't wait! Thank you for this video.
Janice I really do love this machine and I still use it daily.
Hey Sis! Loving your videos and energy. I had mines sitting in a box for 3 weeks now and was searching on how to thread this wonderful machine and ran across your videos. Yes, I was like wow we went through the same thing at the store. I wanted to buy an industrial machine but was running into to many loopholes and they told me to test this machine out. I was sold. And now thanks to your video, I am up and motivated, with machine threaded now and ready to go! Yessss! Thank you so much for this video. Looking forward to watching many more of them.
You are probably going to love it.
You convinced me 100% I ordered mine yesterday. I mainly make soft furnishings but I love quilting too. I’m going to get the free motion kit also so I can finish some of my quilts Thank you so much for your videos I love your sewing 🤗
Thank you so much for your kindness and leaving this comment. I love this machine with a passion
LOL, watching your video did make me chuckle. You are a salesman's dream client. The way you related all this information is ace. Thank you
I'm so glad you watched it and enjoyed it
This is one I have been looking for! I am glad you have this video and now I made decision on janome vs juki! Thank you so much!
I'm glad you found it helpful
Thank you for the video! I have Singer Quantum Stylist myself and contemplating getting a new machine. I have checked the specs of HD9 and it seems great, especially that it is so fast - I'm seriously considering of getting this one myself too. Happy you got maaaaaany more subscribers now and I'm sure you'll have many more :)
Thanks so much for watching. I love this machine so much I'm getting another
First, THANK YOU for making this you tube video. I watched many before purchasing my Janome hd9 be. LOVE LOVE LOVE this workhorse of a machine. Have used it non stop since i brought it home a week ago. Made 2 backpacks for my granddaughters and it sewed so effortlessly . I also have a singer 9960 quantum stylus and last year i purchased a Janome s9. I feel i have all the sewing power i will need to assist me with all the projects i am excited to work on in my retirement. I never thought i would be the owner of such high end machines. But, boy does it make my investment worthwhile ! Keep making your videos. I learn so much from your you tube channel and i love your energy😊👏🏼🧵🪡✂️
Thank you so much for sharing I hope this helps others know it's not just me that machine really does great for heavy-duty projects.
I needed this video and it's so crazy because these are the 2 machines I'm considering. My mind is set, I'm saving up for the HD9. Thanks for talking about it like buying a car. I will be checking out prices at different shops before I drop all this cash on a machine
I'm happy it helped and something else because it's such an easy machine to work you don't need classes really so you can order it from whomever gives you a great price. For computerized machine I try to stay closer to home.
I’m going to get this machine, you convinced me!!!! Im so excited.
I bought a second one to travel with. I still love it.
July 2022 now but loved your review, adventures shopping and set up. Love ❤ Janome. This model has a lot of nice features.
I still love this machine. I use it everyday.
I finally just put in my order for a Janome HD9! I’ve been obsessed with finding one for a good price since I watch this video!
I'm still loving mine. I'm going to do an update video soon. I'm glad you got a good price for it.
I have had a Janome since 1984. I made a few things on it but put if away for a lot of years. I pulled it out during lockdown and after a visit to the repair shop (timing) we are rippin and runnin. When it is time to replace the old thing I will definitely be getting another Janome, probably an HD3000 (Black) Thank you for your video and welcome Ayo to RUclips.
I think I'm going to buy an M7 very soon
I RAN to my dealer right after watching your video. They had a used one for $1,000. Hope that was a good deal. I'm excited to have fun with it!
Yay. I'm so happy that you enjoyed my video and bought one. It has changed my sewing life drastically and I'm falling more in love with it daily. Thank you so much for sharing.
I bought the HD9 because of you yay I bought the black one thank you so much for your review ❤
Can you feel my jealousy? Congratulations I'm super geeked for you.
You appear to have grown from 5 subscribers to over 6000 - and now one more! Because this is a great video, so full of helpful information and funny. I’m only part way through, gotta watch the rest, bbfn.
Yay I love new subscribers. Thanks for hanging with me. I'll be doing an update on this machine soon.
Love this review! I am torn between this machine and the Brother PQ1500SL, and your video has been very helpful.
I understand the struggle. Thank you so much for sharing. This machine is the love of my life. Let us know what you decide.
Thank you! Thank you!! So glad I watched your video, perfect what I was looking for!!!
I'm so glad I could be of some help. P.S. I still love that machine
WOW, you’re my new RUclips bestie. I’ve been struggling with purchasing a new machine. I was bouncing between an industrial machine (you know one of those big bulky ones that sit in their table) , and a heavy duty professional tabletop machine. You’ve convinced me! And, to top it off, I’m really close to the shop you purchased yours from. I’m going by tomorrow.
Many, major thanks to you!
I've always wanted a RUclips bestie! Robin is a gem I'm in love with my machine and I think you will be very happy with it.
Can you please answer a few questions for me? 1) do you keep your Singer as a back-up for zig-zig when necessary? 2) it’s a bit large, would it be difficult pack and take on a trip? 3) Does it come with any extras? Thanks, bestie….
By the way, I’m clearing out some paper crafting supplies and have about 10 packs of 8.5 x 11 ofPark Lane card-stock and a bunch of glue dot runners. If you’d like them let me know.
@@valleriejoy thank you so much but I have stuff I need to give away too.
I love my HD9! Happy to see how much you love it too! I hope you've tried your AT200D by now. I love it too!
I don't even remember where I put it. I will find it one day I'm sure.
Love the quilt on the chair you are sitting on. Wow. Beautiful
Thank you the video for it is on my channel too. It's by lazy cozy quilt
Your quilts are AWESOME too! Mad style. Like 80s vibe. Love it. I'm an 80s girl. :)
Thank you so much for noticing. Stay tuned there is so much more coming
I tried the Juki 2010 but it really couldn’t handle the heavier thread in the bobbin which defeated what my goal was. I shipped it back and will definitely check out the Janome. Thank you . Very informative and entertaining.
Oh no! I'm sorry your machine didn't do what you needed. Let me know if you like the Janome its still my jam.
Your story sounds so familiar. I started on a singer quantum stylist but soon realized that a 50 watt sewing machine wasn’t necessarily cut out for all styles of quilting. Still love it. Just not for quilting. I now own a Juki 2010 and Bernette B79. Between the two, I’ve been able to do just about anything, including embroidery. Like you, though, my eye is on that M7 if I ever decide to up my game and sewing space. It’s hefty in size and price. Lol. Thank you for your video!
Yes that M7 looks amazing. I want to be able to embroider so badly I can't wait to get an embroidery machine. Thank you for sharing
You made me laugh so hard because you’ve never experienced sewing on an industrial machine. My father had a manufacturing business so I grew up around those machines…rows of stitchers with those machines humming away. You brought back some wonderful memories. Bless you….lovely informative video.
Thanks so much for sharing. I would love to try a fully industrial machine one day.
Wish I had seen this before I bought my Juki 2010. I think I might try to sell my Juki and get the Janome HD9. I’ve had the Juki for less than a month. I have 2 other Janome machines, don’t know what I was thinking. Thank you for all the good info.
I'm sorry that you don't love your Juki but I have nothing but good things to say about my HD9
Thank You so much for your review. I almost bought the Juki with the cutter in the pedal. I need a powerful machine to glad through Denim and heavy weight dense fabrics. This is it other than a industrial machine which I did not have space. I never heard of semi industrial machines until this year 1600 stitches insane.. Tip on sewing is just keep practicing and reading patterns and it will be like riding a bike. I believe everyone should own a machine as a practical appliance like Rowenta Iron :) Keep on Shining Love the AYO
Awww you are too kind. The Juki is cool but I love this HD9bs9 much better. I think you will be happy with how this sews denim. If you can get it under the needle I don't think you will have a problem.
Subscriber #5 here lol. 🤣 I have a juki tl2010q off of amazon through a vendor in December 2018. I got the deal of a lifetime it seems. Got it for 800 with lots of feet, including walking foot, needles galore, bobbins. Also the Sewalee quilting rulers. It’s not even priced that low with no accessories. But it’s a great machine and I love it. Welcome to the high speed machine club... it’s fun! Have a great day.
It sounds like that was an awesome deal. Welcome to my channel and thanks for sharing.
I must have bought the same machine as you off of Amazon... the Juki TL2010. Every dealer I called said they couldn't come close to the price. I already have 2 Janomes and love them also but really jumped at the Juki deal. No regrets!
love your hair puffs and that bow too! So cute! You look happy! :)
I'd just bought a sewing machine. I'm usually very happy by nature. Thanks so much for dropping by
You are amazing. I have a Judi Haruka. Janome is an amazing machine and I struggled with my choice. It came down to. Price and I get an amazing deal. I’m a new subscriber as of today. I LoVE your energy. God bless.
I'm so glad you found me. I think you made a lovely choice you can't go wrong with either one. You are gonna be sewing everything so fast.
omg I LOVE Your craft room! It's amazing!
You are too kind. It's just a desk with too much stuff on it.
Very good information, I’m looking to buy a janome!! Thanks
I totally support that decision I still love mine.
Love my HD9!! MS Harriet , that's her name, flies over seams!! No bogging down on thick seams!! I had it 2 wks and I almost done with a quilt top!!
I keep telling everyone this machine is really great. I am so happy to know that you are enjoying it. I can't believe how fast you are finishing your quilt top.
I grinned the entire video. Janome is awesome. 💜💜
I'm so happy you stopped by to watch
Great video and commentary. I've been looking at the same machines you were, and the heavier thread for bag making does entice me to strongly consider the HD9. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
I'm so glad you watched it. I'm really in love with it.
Just found you! Bought the HD and can’t wait!!
I'm super excited for you. I still love this machine
Thanks so much for this. Really informative.
You are more than welcome
Lots for me to think about. Thank you!
It really made a difference I understand
I just saw you video. I just put a HD9 on layaway and so excited to get home. Got an awesome deal like you. Swear we so alike. I also have Singer 9960. Love it. I got HD9 cause I need something for when I start making bags. Also I am new to quilting. I do have the janome M7, actually it's my mom's but it sits in my living room. Love all. My next machine will be Janome M17.
We are total twinzies. I bet you will be in love with your HD9. If I get an M17 it will be because Janome gave it to me. I just don't think I can swing that addition into the mix. And I refuse to get rid of my M7.
piecing correctly takes patience and the correct rulers as well as knowing your machine and cutting accurately. I have been quilting for 25 years and I am dead on accurate with all my points and I do this by making sure that when I cut my fabric it's accurate and then using 1/4" foot that makes my piecing correct as well and measure measure measure as you work through your piecing. Have a 1 x 6 " ruler and get used to using it. Glad you found a great machine to help you learn to be a great piecer. A cheap machine did not help (singer) now you have a great machine and it will make your projects so much better. Good luck!! Thanks for the review I am looking for a HD9 for my handbags (I have a Bernina 770 QE plus, yes I have expensive taste lol - and this is my 6th machine in 25 years..my hubby loves me and I sew like a demon lol).
Thank you so much for your comment. I love that you have a top-of-the-line Bernina but you still want an HD9. You are absolutely right I am a much better piecer now. My Singer machine was lovely for that time in my life but my new machines are definitely great for where I am now.
You are wonderful! What you said about your blocks never coming out the size they're supposed to and the seam with not coming out the way it's supposed to, that's so me! I started quilting last September and finally I don't really care anymore about failing block size requirements! I just try to cut the fabric bigger than I need to and then cut the blocks down! I'm looking at the Juki 2000 TL because the presser foot that comes with it is a scant quarter inch, no messing around with adjusting a needle, and the hinged quarter inch foot that you have to buy so is a quarter of an inch on each side, so you don't have to turn the HST around to sew down the line. I was looking for.feet with no guides. I don't want that guide pressing it to fabric when I'm sewing down the line of an HST. No machines them except for the Juki. Nobody, including the Juki Company, knew what I was talking about, except the site Juki Junkies. I did so much research; someone ought to be paying me for it. All I want to do is what my Featherweight did - sew on the side of the foot without having to look at an indent and without having to use a guide. I've decided that sewing machine manufacturers never sew, or it wouldn't be so hard to find a foot that makes a true scant quarter inch or quarter inch, made without a guide. I bought a Destiny sewing embroidery machine for what I thought was a lot of money even though it was a reconditioned machine from a sewing store, but I'm so frustrated with the feet. I don't want to keep having to write down the numbers of how many mm I had to move the needle to achieve what I want. Good Lord. manufacturers must not even sew! I'm using my Janome 3160 and the numbers just don't match on the needle plate with the numbers on the extension table, so trying to use Washi tape doesn't help. It's so frustrating. I'm going to use the hell out of the machine before I buy it! Thank you thank you thank you for a great video!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I totally understand I used to get so frustrated but now that I have this HD9 I can get blocks to come out correctly without even thinking about it. The HD9 uses the guard on the side that I butt the fabric next to and it does not leave any indentation because it's not on the foot. I love the guide so much it has increased my love for quilting. I can't wait to know what machine you decide to get.
Thank you for the awesome information. I'm looking at a new machine since I started sewing items with cork. I have a Singer Quantum 9060 and so does my sister. My Singer was awful from the get go and my sisters is a work horse. I spent over $150 to get the timing and other issues fixed only to get it back and have it breaking needles which wasn't why I took it to the sewing center in the first place. With that being said, last April 2021 I went out and purchased a Pfaff Ambition 630 it does what I need it to do, but now since I started making purses, wallets etc with cork, my Pfaff isn't handling the bulk :( I started looking at the Juki TL 2010. I also have a 26 year old Janome ME4123 but I rarely use that anymore, it still works perfectly, I just wanted more options. Thanks for this video, I'm going to look at the Janome I know they have a great product.
I loved mine so much I bought a second one to travel with.
Thank you so much for sharing this info I’m in the market for a straight stitch machine with power and I was going to go with the Juki TL 2010Q until I saw your video. I’ve been quilting since 1984. I had been sewing on a Bernina 660 QE that I love but it’s a computer machine and the circuit board is no longer available so I need to find a machine that will last and last for years to come. I paid over $3,000 for my Bernina over 22 years ago and I’m not going to pay $5,000 - $8000 for a new computer machine that will be obsolete in 25 yrs bc I can’t find a circuit board! So you sold me on this machine cause all I wanted was a straight stitch machine since all I do is quilt and make bags so thank you for making my decision an easy one 😍
I'm so happy you found my videos. I absolutely love my machine I think you will be happy.
I went to my sewing machine center here in town and got to hear how quiet the Janome HD 9 is! Wow I love it! It’s on special for $1499 till the end of December so I’m gonna put one on layaway I can’t wait to get it! Thanks so much for this video!
I love my HD9, its a beast! So glad Yr loving yrs too :)
It is my JAM!
Hi! I bought 2 machines last year!! Same day as well! Neither have even been threaded yet but I am making a purse for my grand baby so I have been watching lots of videos on my hd9be! This week end I will make that purse! Next is the baby lock victory serger!
I think I did the same & I have never threaded my serger. We will get to it.
Nice video. I am considering purchasing a straight sewing machine because I sew bags. Thank you for sharing.
I loved this so much that I'm going to get another one.
I LOOOOVE my HD9!!!! I purchased this one over a Juki because I was told (albeit from the Janome dealer - but he's also a repair technician) that Juki parts are hard to get. Even though both machines are from Japan, Janome parts are easier to come by.
I love my HD9 too.
Enjoy your attitude and I hope to watch more from you. I'm trying to share your video with family members but I'm 80 and not technology wise. I am looking for a new sewing machine as soon as I figure out how to share this video.
Oooh I hope you find a sewing machine you love as much as I love this one. I think you are plenty tech savvy because you commented and shared. Go you.

I'm jealous the black one is beautiful and sleek.
@@MACoutureCrafting I tried it out in the store and it’s just so beautiful! And the function is so smooth and fast!! I had been looking at the MC6650 but I just don’t need all that extra stuff right now and that beautiful sleek HD9BE just sang to me.

I watched this video last year and have been thinking about this machine ever since. When I went to pick up my brother scan and cut, they had the Janome HD-9 BE floor model with all the quilting feet for a ridiculously good price. So, after coming home and thinking about it, she’s coming home with me tomorrow….
Whaaaaaat. Yay. I think you will be so happy with the purchase. I bought another machine today too. Stay tuned I'll tell you all about it.
@@MACoutureCrafting can’t wait to see what you got!!! My other main machine is a Bernina but I really like to use it more for FMQ with smaller quilts. You make me want to quilt!
Anyway I love your reviews on this machine. I sew layers of faux fur and I've burnt out so many machines 😬.

You had me at OMG. :) I to am self taught the last 50 years. I sew just about every day. Plus size clothes for myself, quilts and now handbags. I about ready for a semi commercial machine. I use my brother pq1500sl. Fast and does only a straight stitch.
P.S. saving up for my first serious machine for my next adventure. A cylinder arm with detachable/attachable flat bed is my next purchase. It is the best of both worlds for leather/vinyl work for me.
Loved this! You have me thinking about one of these but I need to wait as I just got a new Pfaff 😂
Congratulations on your Pfaff. Even though I have an M7 this is still my #1
I need to check this machine out! The way you advertised this machine they need to pay you!
I loved it so much I bought another one just to travel with. This machine is special.
Thanks so much i will get one
You won't be sorry.
I've had 2 different JUKI TL2010Q models and they are not for jeans or heavy duty fabric.. I ended up selling those 2 and getting the juki 1181N Which has a servo motor and much stronger machine. Now, I have a juKI DX7 and QVP 4000 those 2 machines go over jeans like butter!
So what I'm saying is not all the juki machines are great but most of them are You just have to find the right one for your own personal sewing needs.Ive had one Janome an HD 3000 and I loved it although I did have to adjust the hand wheel and make it tighter because the belt kept slipping and this was when it was brand new. After that it was a pretty strong machine for being mechanical but they failed on the design of the needle threater it was the push button type which was a joke and did not work at all other than that I loved the HD 3000 congratulations on your new machine ♡ ❤️
Thanks for watching
Subscriber #6 ❤ awesome video. Thank you 🙏

Your amazing, thank you
I'm so happy to share
Your journey sounds so much like mine I also started with that the singer quantum doing quilts and then I moved to the Janome 9450 and then I got into bag making and I tried to make the bags on the 9450 and I was just killing the machine so now I have a real industrial Juki 1541 I still quilt but I also bag make
Oh boy! We do have twin journeys If I had the space I might have bought a legit industrial too. Thank you for sharing.
I think the Janome HD9 is pretty much the Singer S16, which I have. It looks just like it, including the placement of all of the features (all 3 of them😀). I am so, so glad I have it. That 1600 sts per minute is wonderful, the stitches are so even, if you do a lot of sewing, an industrial straight stitch is just great. I learned to sew in the mid-'60's, by both my mother and my paternal aunt who was a successful children's fashion designer. It was drilled into me that it's about the patterns and the sewer, none of the extras you get now. Although I remember when my mother got a buttonholer for her old Singer. But no zigzag, stretch stitches, etc. I had an okay Singer as a young adult and I made two tailored dress shirts for a boyfriend on that thing. Other than the buttonholes, I did the whole thing in straight stitch, with the help of David Coffin's "Shirtmaking". Congratulations on your new acquisitions!!!:-)
Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I bet you are an excellent sewist. My first machine is a Singer and it has done very well for many of my projects
@@MACoutureCrafting And thank you for mentioning the Quantum Stylist and your good experiences with it!:-) I am looking into upgrading my mother's 1980s (or 1990's?-- can't remember if it was for her 50th or 60th birthday) Kenmore, and am looking at the Quantum Stylist, the Viking Emerald 118, the Jade 20, or the Janome HD5000. The last was what I was originally set on, but now the first 3 are much more attractive. I wasn't going to get a computerised one, but am now softening on that. The big drawback with the Quantum is that you can't alter the pressure of the presser feet, which really helps with knits. I am making myself crazy with this decision!😀
@@amierichan1428 don't make yourselves crazy You probably can't go wrong with any machine. I loved my quantum its just not as powerful as my newer machines .
When I bought my juki 18qvp I bought it from a dealer in Japan who shipped Free and I got it less than a 2000 here! Brand New. Then I traded in my janome 9450 and bought the M7! I am set! M7 IS GREEEEEAT
I love my M7 I need to do a review on it. Thanks for sharing.
If it makes you happy, you’re not doing it wrong.🙂
I love this. You are absolutely right
Love this video!
I'm so glad that you liked it.
I'm not a quilter. I'm only recently getting back into sewing with my 27-year-old Kenmore, which was made by Janome. I had been considering Janome's HD series for heavy duty sewing. But I will consider your recommendation if I get into quilting, which has been at the back of my mind. Thank You 💞
Oooh bring that quilting to the front. The community is so much fun. The shapes and colors and fabrics are a hoot. I still love my machine.
I had to laugh when you mentioned the bobbin problem. You are so right.
I'm happy someone agrees with me.
I didn’t even know this machine existed! I appreciate your comparisons. I have a Brother PQ1500 and I’m really happy with it. I also contemplated the Juki machines but I went the cheaper route. I need to purchase another machine for a small condo and the Janome really peaked my interest with its ability to sew through so many layers. It’s a bit out of my price range though. Will be following your journey with this machine for sure!
The more I use it the more I want to use it. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
New sub ! You had me at “that machine was a bad mama jama!” 😂
Lol you never know what I will say. Thanks for watching.
This was a great video.
I'm so totally happy you liked it
@@MACoutureCrafting your personality really shined. I clicked the red button. Hope you have a nice day.
I’m already a hardcore Janome user, but throw in that the company is aware and supports diversity, and I’m sold 💯!
Thanks so much for sharing that. It is lovely to see diversity in this industry
I love big bobbins, I cannot lie! I also wondered why they can’t use a spool.
You and me both. Thank you for commenting
You inspired me to buy a Janome MC 6500, not the beast you got but, for $500 with rolling bag and accessories not bad.
Not bad at all I think you did great
@@MACoutureCrafting got there it is a MC 6600P!
Your description of how fast it sewed is like the female version of guys and sports cars 😆.
There is a channel I like called Power tools with thread because that is exactly what it is. Lol Thanks for watching
Nice quilt❣️
Thank you very much
Hi I love my Janome Hd 9 love love love ❤️Hugs Jeanette Beccau from Sweden ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yay. So it is not just me.
I have just had this for Xmas n set this beaut up but for 100%cotton the pressure is on 1 n the top thread tension is on 1 .Xx
Nice
Ha! I bought this machine about the same time as you, and then bought the MC6700P later on for decorative stitches
I ended up buying the m7 I haven't done a review on it yet but I really love that machine
Congrats! I’m in Northern California. I’m hoping the store you went to is willing to ship. Great video!
I believe they will ship Robin was amazing
Hi 😀 I contacted Robin and purchased the JANOME HD9 version 2. Thank you for this video, and helped me with my decision to purchase the machine and also saved me tons of time finding a JANOME dealer. Robin was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend her! ❤️👏🏾👍🏿🌸
@@Quilt4Joy I am too excited for you. I really hope you love your machine as much as I do.
I just bought an Janome HD9 … was looking for a machine that will be happy to help me through my sewing BAGS journey … just began sewing bags in January of 2021, bought a Juki TL18QVP and wanted another machine for bag making at the next level - two of my favorite resources - one near home in FL and the other near home in SC both told me I needed the Janome HD9. Receiving it in my SC home in May. Cannot wait, but very nervous to try it. Love my Juki, but needed something to easily sew on leather.
This comment was right on time. I'm currently testing the Juki 18 QVP I'll be giving my thoughts on the machine in comparison very soon. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
How is your juki tl18 compared to your HD9?
Hi! You are one of only a few vloggers I know that use the HD9. I LOVE IT!! And thank you for doing this video! I'm wondering if you've tried tex 45 or really curious about a tex 75 or tex 80 thread on this bad boy?
Thanks for commenting I have tried texting 45 and it worked fine.
You are fabulous and Janome knows who you are!!
You are too kind
Regena!! Isn't Mac the best?! She is fabulously creative :)
@@JoannaMarsh I completely agree. I also love that combines that creativity with fabulous presentation skills!
@@JoannaMarsh I'm just trying to be like you.
@@MACoutureCrafting Ha! Don't do that!! The world needs MAC!
You are a beautiful black woman! I love Juki and Janome which I have Janome sewing machines with all the bells and whistles and I bought the Juki QVP haruka! The newest TL model they have. I think it’s called TL18. Then I wanted a long arm and I love the big sister to my machine which is QVP something but it’s a Longarm. I can’t afford it yet. It’s nine thousand dollars so I got a Qnique 15 pro. Very nice machine but it’s my learning machine because you can’t just sit down and use a Longarm like they do have n videos so yeah lots of learning! The QVP haruka or TL18 was 1200 dollars to me on sale but I think it’s 1500 regularly. Janome is made in Korea. I love Koreans and have many friends from Korea. I do live Janome too and looking at Janome long arms. They are very nice too so I get your problem choosing. I don’t know Juki background.
Thank you so much. You have a dilemma just like me. So many options. I can hardly stand it. I just want too many things. Stay tuned I have more machine reviews coming.
Just subbed to your channel. I’m in the same boat between a Janome -vs- Juki. Thanks for the video and explanations. BTW love thread spanx comment 🤣🤣. Do you do your own free motion quilting? Was wondering about the throat space for that. ?
Yay. I love new subscribers that leave comments! I do tiny free motion but coming from my other machine this has way more space. I'm going to do an update video with the Janome table attached.
same here...
I discovered JUKIs in 2006 my first was a Serger the MO 734DE LOVED IT! Then when babylock came out with the air threater and had a patent on it I knew juki would eventually get it so I waited....and a few years later they DID add the air threading! So I sold my 734 and got the MO1000...oh before that I purchased the JUKI serger/cover hem combo..sold it though..I did t like it
Thanks for watching and commenting
I just found a local dealer selling a few Juki-tl18QVP for 1,000$. They were used at a retreat and checked by techs then repackaged. I’m gonna buy one. The deals so good I can’t pass it ip
You will be in good company people absolutely love that machine
Excellent price for a TL18!
