    Been looking to replace my PD 3L just to try something new and honestly haven't found a better bag for my needs. The huge single pouch is great for an EDC, especially if you use small pouches to organize. Access is just so much easier and simpler.
    The biggest thing for me though is that most EDC bags can't hold an iPad mini which has become an essential travel EDC item for me and most EDC bags aren't tall enough in the 3L range.....the PD 3L fits it just perfectly.
    My least favorite part of the PD Is the strap. The locking mechanism to hold it in place is bad...needs improvement.

    Thank you, very good video. To go further, would you have an idea of the resistance to heavy rain and shocks? For info, I'm using a PD3L with a Sony RX10IV + batteries + charger, which is pretty tight.

    Hey Bro,
    Here is some constructive critique.
    Lighting wise - I could not see anything inside the Wandrd main compartment. It was just black.
    You did not wear the bags for us to see how they look when someone wears them.
    You did not show how you fill them up and use them.
    You have enthusiasm and good camera presence.
    I would hate to see you waste them with non-useful videos.
    If you remake the video or make a second version I will watch it!
    Wish you success in the future!

    Thanks for the comparison. I have a PD 6L and am looking for a smaller one to use with my Canon M6. I like the larger main compartment on PD 6L bag, but already dislike the 6L PD bag due to the outer zippered pocket (mostly useless), and the fact that PD rounded the zipper on the 6L bag so putting an iPad Pro 11 in is next to impossible - all due to the rounded zipper. I initially liked the look of the wandrd but two things turn me off. (1) The narrow opening to the main compartment, and (2) really hate black interiors - very hard to find things, esp. when much camera gear is already black. And often you’re using the bag in a low light situation as well. Will keep looking as I will give both of these bags a miss.

  • @cccycling5835
    @cccycling5835 11 месяцев назад +1

    I would pick the Wandrd. I cycle and hike a lot, and I’ve owned that exact PD 3L and the lack of the stabilizer strap makes a huge difference. I’ve had a lot of Peak Design products and they’ve all had some sort of fatal flaw. I’ve had the zipper fail catastrophically on a PD Sling 5L and it was awful. A lifetime warranty isn’t any good when I’m out in the field. I do think the PD looks better though.

    I opted for Peak Design because its design is unisex and much more aesthetic. The Wandrd is not feminine. Moreover, I think it’s a shame that purely feminine photo bags never have reasonable prices. Sometimes we want to carry our camera with us in the city or at a party but not necessarily a tourist or hiking bag...😂
