Nice build. Its nice to see the company going beyond what you are paying for. Attention to detail. Pulling out the old harness. Installing looms and getting the harness super clean installed. And to let you into the shop and film the process. Most shops will not allow a customer to go into a shop for insurance reasons let alone under a hoist. Anybody can argue what are they hiding? Its not hiding. Its the cost of insurance. Id argue back. Would you allow your truck to be loaned out and your insurance is willing to cover it.
The truck is beyond awesome but I have to say this guys shop is very impressive. Large, roomy, extremely organized and full of the right tools. I have a 98 Ram 3500 dually with Cummins 5.9 24 valve I’m restoring. I may be giving these guys a call! Really nice truck dude, good job.
this is my dream build!! I have absolutely loved loved loved! the early 70s fords! I've always wanted to do a true f450 chassis swap for the strength as well as the improved turning radius and do a built 12v swap with an Alison transmission. I feel like that build would be an absolute monster!
I had an uncle Doug who worked at the Chrysler plant in Fenton, MO., and he had some interesting Dodge trucks over the years and once he bought a Dodge truck with a diesel engine that was it. His trucks came down the assembly line as an employee's vehicle and he would install a cb radio and a shortwave ham radio and the antennas. And he hauled a 5th wheel camper with them.

That awesome you got CA to do your conversion. I have spoke with Dave the owner and he definitely knows his stuff. Seems like a man of his word and backs up his Transmission. Only down fall is I’m still waiting for a price to do my Transmission for my Ram 5500 from Karen (CA conversions) have sent multiple emails requesting a quote. I'm a high school drop out but I did pay attention in science class. It is as much how you use it as what it is. I had an argument with an engineer that I could lift one of the test cells with only a 1/4" bolt as the interface between the lower lift bridal and the crane hook. I put up a hundred which was a lot for me and he put up a thousand. I won the bet. It had a single bolt in a 20 sheer configuration.
