Back to Racing Greed I go!!! Now that I have the crank pulley and high pressure fuel pump installed from Integrated Engineering we need to put it to the test on the dyno. I dyno tested both the 91 and 93 octane tunes and then finished off strong with the E40 tune from Integrated Engineering. I'm now starting to feel the power that these 3.0L Supercharged V6's can actually make. This is going to be a riot on the track!!!
All hardware installations are performed by Reiter Performance. For more information on their services please reach them at info@reiterperformance.com or check out www.reiterperformance.com for more details
All dyno testing is performed at Racing Greed located at 1650 Broadway St Unit 110, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6P8. They can be reached at rg@racinggreed.com or check out www.racinggreed.com for more details.

This is amazing Adam. Time for the IE 80mm throttle body (10-15whp) Jokerz performance ported blower (40whp) maybe an RS7 LPFP, maybe even an AEM meth kit for an additional (40-50whp) 😁you should probably think about upgrading to a CWA-100 for additional cooling especially for the track.
sheesh that E40 makes all of the difference
great video, just ordered up the IE stage 1 for my 13' s4... really excited!
Congrats!
Wow, that is mighty impressive! It is a shame I do not have access to ethanol. You got yourself a 10 second car, man :-) Very happy for you! You should be trapping 123-124 with this kind of power. You need a bit more traction and I think you will be able to run high 10's on the street. Not sure if you will be able to do it on the track though. Very hard to keep the starting AIT's below 50 C at the track unless you use my tips I have given you before-run the fans when stationary with the car off. When you start the car run the defroster at HI heat and rev up the car several times. In any case, the power is there and this is quite an achievement. Love your content-both RS3 and S4. You should have loads more subscribers.
Thanks! I'm confident that once I have the car fully dialed in I'll be running 10's. At this point though with simple bolt on's and no specific tweaking I'm thinking I'll probably run an 11.3 first time out. At least that is what I'm hoping lol
After the Track... throttle body with that 7300 rpm 🔥🔥🔥🔥 then dyno then track again... Love the content
Hey! Stop telling the future!!! Lol
Vancityaudi always bringing the heat. Thanks Adam!
You're very welcome!
Next up, larger throttle body and ported blower😁😁
YES!!!
I just love the Passat badge
Thank you
Fantastic videos!!! Esp the dyno videos!!
Thanks for your support!
Awsome video again Adam!!!!
Man those 3.0tfsi engines just loves ethanol blends!!! I have to say to IE has made great tune again!
Can't wait that 1/4 mile runs with those tunes, but still have to say that the time for 1/4 run would be around 11.2 to 11.3 on E40 tune.
If i may ask you to make new quick measurement for that HPFP duty % with that E40 tune?
I've seen between 70 to 80% HPFP duty cycle% while running the E40 dual pulley tune
First off I’ve been waiting for this exact video for a minute cause it’s pretty much my setup glad to see some numbers….. I played with the higher rev files but I toned it back down cause while it was fine I also like to baby the car as much as possible
Btw great video man
Thank you!
May not be an Audi owner but appreciate the entertainment!
Thanks brother. I'm looking forward to our rematch!
@@VancityAudi win or lose it will be a blast!
@@johnkussmann6224 I want you on camera this time around to talk about your car!!!
@@VancityAudi sounds like a plan! 👍
I wish I could see you do something like Rocky Mountain Race Week with the Passat or Jetta
Now that would be a dream for me! Sadly I'm in no where near the financial position to be able to take that much time off of work and travel that far to make that a reality. Maybe one day though!!!
excellent video !! Is there a difference in 93 octane with and without hpfp? I mean, is there a file for 93 octane with hpfp and a file for 93 octane without hpfp, or is hfpf only used for e40?
There are no separate tunes available to gain more power running a HPFP on a 93 octane tune. It will simply provide more headroom so you can run E40.
Oh me god it’s freak awesome 👏
Thanks!
Hey brother I love the channel! Very useful content with the software and dyno testing. Is that gauge mount on your RS3'S left heater vent commercially available?
It certainly is! vancityaudi.com/shop
@@VancityAudi Rite on! I'm looking to use it in my 8J. Does it accept a 52mm or 60mm? Not sure if I just overlooked it in the description
@@VancityAudi seems like the 8v vent is only slightly larger then the TTs unless there is a tt specific mount but I'd imagine it will work.
@@shiftya4 they fit 8V A3, S3 and RS3's, that's it, sorry
I'm about to buy a b8 with ie dual pully, exhaust/test pipes/intake, tcu tune, merc heat exchanger, test pipes, and lightweight wheels, so I'll probably make similar power as your 93 tune, I'm so damn excited. I'm just gonna have to upgrade the motor mounts before i do anything crazy
If you are using straight pump gas don't expect to make the same power. You'll more than likely make less
@@VancityAudi even on 93 octane?
@@Regan-el8qk no. I blend my pump gas with ethanol to make sure I get the most out of all my tunes.
@@VancityAudi so low-key false advertising ur I.E tunes?makibg them look better than they are?assuming every fuel file has headroom to take advantage of timing your 93 file really dynos higher than genuine pump 93?
@@Regan-el8qk 🤣🤣🤣 riiiiiiggght. I maximize the performance of every single tune I run on every Audi I've ever owned. For anyone running straight pump gas on pump gas tunes they are leaving performance on the table. By blending in small amounts of additional ethanol you are maximizing what the tune is capable of doing. Why not get every bit of power you can get out of what you pay for?
Thanks for the quality videos as always Adam , any plans for WMI?
I won't be touching WMI on this car because it needs to remain my daily. I don't want to get wrapped up in making sure my WMI tank is always full, haha.
@@VancityAudi I feel you, I have a kit I haven’t yet installed and mine is my daily as well .. you could always tap into the washer tank which is fairly large and give you a warning along with the controller..
However there’s always the risk of a pump failure or a clogged nozzle ...
@@brizax I've already had a motor hydro lock in the past. I'm staying away from WMI on this car.
@@VancityAudi sheeeeesh! :( 10-4 .. maybe I’ll sell my kit and just buy the upgraded hpfp plunger along with a ECA for my P3
@@brizax lol I like buying new/used partsb
Damn so you dont have any headers or exhaust done?
Here are those mods: ruclips.net/video/H9CcDmRnteM/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/QSnrVWN_xN8/видео.html
What do your numbers for the hpfp look like? Do you and IE have plans to play with the E40 tune to see if you can get more out of it?
The IE tunes will be staying as they are for the E40 files. They are confident they have as much out of them as they can get while retaining safe levels for all of the other necessary parameters. My HPFP duty cycle % now sees between 70 and 80%
I gotta talk with my tuner! I know my APR dual pulley isn’t close to that! Blending the ethanol is confusing to me, got to research more!
Here is a video to help get you started: ruclips.net/video/IGOt78HseOo/видео.html
Hey man, if you find mixing intimidating maybe check out this article. I think it would help show you it's not overly complicated. The most important thing other than mixing if making sure you are on the correct file to match. If you go from e85 to pump gas and forget update... kaboom.
performancebyie.com/blogs/ie-auto-blog/make-power-safely-ethanol-blends?fbclid=IwAR0qQyvTI_0aaSIJHUNb6SI5Mp4EM3TGfKGC_G0CJa8SxwYCXd-DuInEbuc
Were you getting harsh timing pull with 94 on single pulley? I'm stage 1 93 tuned right now, have the pully and stage 2 93 tune ready to go (eurodyne tho) Don't even know where I'd get e85 near me, I'm mid Vancouver island. lol
Down to Nanaimo for e85 apparently..
@@OutsideUnboxed I would HIGHLY advise you to immediately load the 91 octane tune and get off the 93 octane file. The Chevron 94 can not provide adequate knock resistance. I have seen multiple engines on different platforms blow up from running 93 octane tunes on our local fuel. There is a CO-OP in Nanaimo that sells E60 - E65 that you could grab jerry cans from.
@@VancityAudi thank you dude!
Great video! Is the “Passat” catted or catless?
ruclips.net/video/H9CcDmRnteM/видео.html
So what all mods were on at the time of this minus the dual pulley ?
All of the bolt on parts from Integrated Engineering except for the Throttle Body, as well as a Heat Exchanger from MercRacing.
@VancityAudi hey Adam what was temperature and DA during the day session ?
I show the temperature on the instrument cluster POV during one of the runs. I believe the DA was hovering around 1000 to 1200DA.
Sheeeeeeshhhhh
Any they do a full e85 tune on these cars eventually?
At this time no. There are some people though working on additional fueling kits to be able to take advantage of running full E85
how much power did this car make 100% stock on this exact dyno ?
That's shown in this video: ruclips.net/video/F0yOw6dDwV0/видео.html
What’s the limiting factor concerning E85? Why not full e85?
The fueling can't support it. E40 is the highest ethanol content these car's fuel systems can handle safely.
@@VancityAudi I was thinking injectors maybe? Is it fuel pressure?
@TurmyHD No one makes upgraded direct injectors or a LPFP on this platform. Port injection would enable E85, but upping the content level from 40 to 85 doesn't net the results people think it would, and that's why none of the big tuners have done it
how does the car feel after installing the pulley?
Faster and more whiney, haha.
Do you think the E30 tune on S3 will have similar gains of around 40 whp?
I honestly have no idea. Sorry.
S3 is a car for girls
tires set up ?
vancityaudi.com/faqs-2012-audi-s4-1
E40 is 100 octane??
Roughly ya. I imagine it depends on what octane level the pump gas is you are using to blend your ethanol into
👍🔥
Last time I tuned my TCU there was a 7,500 RPM tune. That’s what I’m running on stage 1. Has anyone else ran this tune?
That sounds scary AF!! I sure as sh$t wouldn't run that in my B8.
@@VancityAudi that sounds okay. u can rev dat baby till 7600 np.
ya, i saw that too. I put that in and after a few days of the mechatronics adjusting it's now smoother than the first ie tcu tune i had on it.
Until I have a high pressure fuel pump, what’s a good ethanol blend to have to mix with pump 91 gas
E10-20 is great and safe
@@manrajdhillon8569 perfect thanks 👍 will do that
Looks like we both have the same car ha
Log you car and see if it can handle it
@@angelsalcedo7532 you can check out my build @sapphire.s3 on insta!
@@manrajdhillon8569 As long as your fuel system is working properly it is. I have proven already though in my last video that if it isn't, you could be in for trouble at an E20 level if one of your pumps are failing.
