Pilot your very own C-130 Hercules with this exquisite scale aircraft. Completed with the highest level of scale detail, this Avios C-130 Hercules is the best replica on the market. With a 1600mm (63-inch) wingspan and measuring over a meter in length, the Avios C-130 features fully sequenced landing gear, a working cargo door, navigation lights, and scale props.
Beloved worldwide, the American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft is capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings. The C-130 was assigned as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft. The versatile airframe has found uses in a variety of other roles, including as a gunship (AC-130), search and rescue, scientific research support, weather reconnaissance, aerial refueling, maritime patrol, and aerial firefighting. It is now the main tactical airlifter for many military forces worldwide.
The historic aircraft features pre-installed electronics, removable wings, and bolt-together pieces. Coming in two color schemes, the C-130 is available in the Blue Angels US Navy aerobatics scheme (Fat Albert) or Military Grey. The Blue Angels use a United States Marine Corps Lockheed C-130T Hercules, nicknamed "Fat Albert", for their logistics, carrying spare parts, equipment, and to carry support personnel between shows. "Fat Albert Airlines" flies with an all-Marine crew of three officers and five enlisted personnel.
The Avios C-130 has a cargo door that can be operated by an aux channel on your computer radio. Fantastic for any candy drop events at the flying field. A cabin light has also been added and it can be switched on/off automatically when the door is opened or closed.
Avios presents the only true scale representation of the mighty C-130.
Features:
• Electronic retractable scale landing gear with sequencing gear doors
• Scale-like Fowler flaps with updated connections for short take-off and landings
• Opening cargo door
• Super bright landing and navigation lights that can be seen even in daylight
• Special wiring wing connectors allow for easy removal and replacement of wings
• Plastic scale components like windshield wipers, pitot tubes, and dew point sensors
• Four different sets of decals

From having an eflite EC1500, this is 1000% better! 👍
Looks like Avios is upping there game. Great to have good choices.
As excited to watch you unbox as if I were unpacking it myself.
Can't argue much with the price. I wish it was cheaper but I think the price meet quality of parts plus that's absolutely a masterpiece airplane.
Gotta love this plane!! Great job👊🏼
Just ordered one. I have had good flying with Avios models and I have quite a few. Quality is usually very good. I might even order the civilian model as well.
Great comprehensive review John 👍
Good stuff John. I'll watch the flight video for cg and if a 2200 is all it takes to balance it.
AirHammer out!!
Awesome video thank you.
Only one problem! . . . Now I want one!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Beasley!
Nice video!
Loved the first version and I ordered a new one as soon as they was available.
Personaly I think they made a misstake not to let us choose from a white and a military gray version. Nothing some paint want fix though. :)
Reacted on the on the high price, almost double from the original version with not much changes to speak of. The biggest change is the rudder servo.
Awesome flight and great vide! Price is good, might just have to get me one!
Yeah buddy! Link in the description :)
They moved the rudder servo from the bottom of the fuse to the tail and also redid the flap horn. Lots of slop on the V1
Really looks nice
Yessir, and made it lighter!
nice !!! could you sync the inner slat/flaps with the gear ?
Newbie here...Great video. I have a NX8 transmitter. How do I get the flaps to work together like yours?
Would just like to ask how you have found it regarding Transportation and having to fit at least one wing at the field ? - thanks for this video I will use it when I build (assemble mine)
I transport them in one piece, I have never taken it back apart.
Great video John, thanks ! What brand of battery and size fits cross wise in this hatch ?

@@JohnVHRC Thanks !!
@JohnVHRC did you add in any elevator correction with the flap settings? If so, how much do you use? I'm nervous about flying mine with flaps as I don't have any idea how much flap/elevator correction to add
As I usually mention in my videos. I do flight modes. With each trimmable. So I trim each flap setting in flight as I fly it. I need to make a video on how to do it.
@@JohnVHRC Any chance you could share your flap/elevator settings with me? (As a starting point)
What Rx did you use? Are the Inboard Flaps and Outboard Flaps going to separate Rx channels? Overall... what's your Flap Rx and Tx setup? Thanks.
Spektrum AR7000 7 channel. I did end up using a Y for the flaps as I didnt have enough channels to separate them. Not sure what you mean by rx and tx flap setup?
@@JohnVHRC Thanks... using a Y cable answered my question... appreciated.
@@JohnVHRC I Y-harnesed my inbound flaps to the gear channel then set travel to 150% and 7 seconds. Worked perfectly and didn't mess with gear deploy at all
👍
Is the CG 65mm per the instructions in the manual or 55mm to 60mm per that quick setup piece of paper?
60-65 is fine, you can tailor from there.
@@JohnVHRC thanks, man!! I performed the maiden yesterday… it flew very well… thanks again!!
@@jaysrc Glad to hear!
What’s that weird extra slightly oval foam piece for?
Good question, never installed it.
Lot of plane for a mere $400
where can I buy the large one
Link in description
@@JohnVHRC Oki sir
No interest in packaging at all
Some people are.
