The incredible Avios C-130 is back with two new hi-viz, vibrant, and lighter in weight color schemes, plus a host of other improvements. The improvements on the V2 are mainly aimed at reducing weight to improve the slow-flight handling characteristics. Like the original version, the C-130 V2 is completed to the highest level of scale detail, has a 1600mm wingspan, and measures over a meter in length.
Beloved worldwide, this versatile American four-engine turboprop aircraft has been used in many guises over its long period in service. Originally it was designed as a troop, and cargo transport aircraft, but very quickly found uses in a variety of other roles.
The Avios C-130 V2 is available in two brand new color schemes, the classic US Coast Guard scheme of hi-viz orange and white with scale decals, or a typical civilian cargo plane scheme in red, white, and blue. Both stand out really well in all skies, and both schemes are lighter in weight than previous versions. Features include pre-installed motors, ESCs, servos, retract landing gear with door sequencer, working cargo door, cabin light, nav lights, etc. The V2 also includes an improved rudder pushrod system with a rear-mounted servo which is lighter, and more direct. The wings are removable for transport and they include a quick-connect/disconnect plug and socket for servos, lights, and power. Assembly is fast and straightforward, it simply screws together, no gluing is required.
AVIOS presents the only true scale representation of the mighty C-130 turboprop aircraft, and in its V2 form, they are even better to fly. As the full-size has been a familiar sight around the world for many years, these striking Avios scale models are also destined to become a familiar sight at model flying fields all over the world. Well done Captains on an amazing flight. What a plane!! I cannot believe the automation on this for the money. The way the landing gear works is perfect. It really looked and almost sounded like the real deal. Maybe you could fill the cargo door with dog treats in case that lady comes back.

The zoom on the initial climb out and turn looked like a full-scale C--130! Very nice.
It has great handling on the ground when you landed. It didn't walk all over the runway like so many other model's do.

@@PetrincicBrosRC I have watched quite a few landing's of RC Aircraft, and the C-130 is the only one I have ever seen landing that didn't walk all over the runway. Even the Pro's with their super expensive Scale Aircraft with tricycle style landing gear don't track that well at all compared to your C-130!!! Now I have a reason to get one!
