Please use this video and this project in general as a CV. I’ve been following bludpanda and people he worked with through him and it hurts me not to see you guys in much bigger places, career-wise. Use this as a CV to work in DC or a WB establishment gaming department. This level of dimensional thinking, passion and intellectual background for architectury makes me want much better and bigger places for you guys as an old time follower.
I appreciate your enthusiasm about it! It's great you've been supporting me for so long. I am actually a game developer and plan on getting into the gaming industry, so I'm applying things here I've learned in school or working on other projects. Unfortunately Minecraft stuff like this isn't really considered professional experience, and these industries are very strict about experience. Maybe if this becomes a widely successful project and we release a gameplay-heavy map akin to the recent MC Batman DLC then it could be considered legitimate game dev/business experience in the eyes or professionals. It's not that we don't know we could be in higher places, the real world and these industries are way harder to get into that it may appear, it takes years.
This version of Gotham in Minecraft of all things is giving me design inspo for my dark n gothic fictional city for my comic lol you guys killed it 😂 it’s so scary but cozy too with the rain
Oh we are in for a treat. Not even a couple minutes in and at 2:22 we’re already given such a beautiful and masterful shot of the city. This is gonna be a good video 👍
9:50 something about this alleyway enclosed by the gate seems so cozy and familiar to me like if I was homeless I would stay here and I wouldn’t even be mad about it
Thanks for the compliment it means a lot, truly :) I've seen some of your content before, your gotham project is coming along really well! can't wait to see what you come up with in the future! :)
Wow, I'm excited to see how this project turns out, really nice job with everything! Also I'm really interested in what your bowery, New Gotham, asylum and Wayne Manor turns out so that will be cool to see in the future!
First of all this is fantastic and the level of detail is insane. Not only that but the layout itself seems so intricate and well thought out. Absolutely beautiful work. I also like the changes you made to the texture pack, are you able to use your custom textures on console or just pc?
Thank you! to answer your question, custom textures are universal on bedrock. you'll be able to use them on Windows, Console, Mobile, Etc. We just used the Windows version of the game to make them and implement them.
Great video and great buildings. I've been trying to do a gotham city myself for like 5 years and failing again and again. I know how complicated it is to planify and create the structure. I'm gonna be looking forward for the next videos. Greetings from argentina
The name of the block Is escaping me right now in all honesty. It's one of the education edition blocks. The RTX pack we are currently using affects education edition blocks. That is why it glows. We do plan to look into retexturing that block in the future if possible, so it's not so orange and ugly for people not using RTX.

These have got to be some of the most beautiful builds I have ever seen.
This is exactly what I've been looking for at the moment, have been so excited to see how this project has come along

This is amazing and deserve millions of views!! I've yet to see a city so detailed and you can see the hard work. Wow! So cool
Oh wow, this is so cool! That one scenic shot through the city took my breath away
The beauty found in the darkest and most hidden depths of the city, true visionaries here. 👏

Thank you! I'm wishing you the best of luck with your project!
5 buildings would take me 2 years
Is Wayne Manor/Batcave going to be build?
Yes. Wayne Manor and the Batcave will be made in the future.
Also what is that orange block that is used for the street lights that glow during rtx?
The name of the block Is escaping me right now in all honesty. It's one of the education edition blocks. The RTX pack we are currently using affects education edition blocks. That is why it glows. We do plan to look into retexturing that block in the future if possible, so it's not so orange and ugly for people not using RTX.
