That's no longer Minecraft, but pure art. Without exaggeration, it's the most beautiful megastructure I've ever seen. The attention to detail is insane and not geared towards 'bigger is better' like other megastructures. Keep up the great work!
This looks amazing! It is, by far, the best solarpunk build I've seen to date! I always think, "You'd have to be super-rich or super-crazy to want to live in a solarpunk city." But this looks like a place where someone could actually live!
True! I feel like a major pillar of solarpunk is the focus on individuality and that being evident in it's appearance. What area of Vesta Verde do you think you would live in?
@@SludaBuilds Wouldn't necessarily say individuality so much as freedom, or like, anarchy, more being able to chart whatever sort of path or do whatever you want, than individualism. I think solarpunk is a fair chunk more collective than how we exist now, irrevocably tied with the ideas of eco-socialism and anarchism.
I LOVE that you are actually including the insides of the buildings and considering the logistics and infrastructure of such a city. A lot of builds look nice on a surface level but fall apart logically when you question their designs and would be impossible to play on because the insides are missing or because things are scaled up to an impractical degree for higher "resolution" if that makes sense. To make your build about more than just superficial aesthetics is what makes TRULY great designs in my opinion. Very well done! EDIT: Okay, some of the insides may be incomplete, at least it looks like it from some of the shots like at 22:50, but great job nevertheless!
Thank you sm! I'm glad people appreciate the interiors because it can be painfully time-consuming, but I agree that it adds a crucial layer to the build.
Yeah, this is a really cool build that looks immersive. Another logistical thing I noticed is that while it had restaurants and movie theaters, it didn’t have libraries, schools, and hospitals, which I thought were already more community-oriented.
Dude, every single time you built a little cube house I was impressed because all of them are unique, it takes a lot of creativity to not accidentally make a clone of a house you already made. This is actually my favorite minecraft build
absolutely phenomenal 😲. i love the lush island theme, and the beautiful city that really goes with the scenery. its like how a paradise would be without being cliche or unrealistic, the solarpunk is way better than the cyberpunk. it is obvious that you put in so much care and effort into the design and story, bringing together a fantastic masterpiece 😁
Thank you so much!!! I'm very fortunate to have viewers that appreciate the small details and extra effort. People like you were my biggest motivation for this project💛
I think Cyberpunk and solarpunk go together very well. Cyberpunk is a warning of how we can mess up the future and what we do not want. Solarpunk on the other hand shows a hopeful world that is still realistically achievable. If you put them together then they show that fundamentally it is not what technology exist that decides which one we end up with, since both visions of the future have very similar technology levels. Instead the difference is how people choose to use those technologies, who has access to them, how well the government does, etc
This is the most inspiring, incredible, and amazing creation in Minecraft I have ever seen, and I've been playing the game for 13 years. Hands down, this takes the cake, and eats it too. I am in complete awe. We need to build this in real life so I can LIVE there!
My main problem with Solar Punk is that normally the the buildings are white with foliage on them and d have little variety outside of shape, glad to see all different types of blocks are used for different types of buildings.
I almost never watch minecraft videos, but this felt like an artwork expressed via blocks. I had a huge, stupid grin on my face throughout the entire video and the way you described the lore mixed with the emotions and expressions that the build gave off was honestly so fun and joyful to watch. You've earned yourself a subscriber.
My favorite part of this build were the names you gave all the towns, buildings, resorts, etc. They heavily remind me of Super Mario Sunshine, as does most of this build really. Very quickly became my new favorite MC build. Lovely work!
This theme/style of build is very rare to find and soothing to watch. I really like this kind of build that has a very pleasing aesthetic of nature in the build. You’re so underrated, keep up the good work man!
@@SludaBuilds you deserve it. Honestly your build is stunning! Can I ask how you plan out these kinds of builds? I always struggle to get coherency and variation between my builds.
1. Love solarpunk style, and you absolutely blew it out of orbit. 2. Watching the building in this was like watching a 3D printer. I can only imagine how long it could've taken if you did it in Survival. 3. The lore is amazing and everything is so cohesive and gorgeous. I am especially glad you went back through and added mobs to everything. And all the little DETAILS! Guh, so much inspiration just from watching this.
Super refreshing to finally see someone build a full city that's in a unique style instead of just another generic American style, discount Chicago/New York looking city like everyone else does on yt
I love that your vision of this city isnt void of color. Solarpunk is always beautiful and green but i feel all we usually get is green and white whereas your version has a lot more color and vibrance
Im building a persistent 1.19.2 world that i would love to add this too as a compliment to Greenfield and The uncensored library. I'm building a world after i watched What Dreams may Come so i want to have a TARDIS and T60 battle armor in my afterlife. i would LOVE to upgrade this using Create to make the cranes and the monorail functional as im planning to do with Greenfield to make functional elevators, escalators etc throughout the city, automated delivery trucks etc. Your solarpunk city would make a nice Elf or Faewild capital city perhaps. Im using Create Above and Beyond as a starter to create a world that a video game could happen in rather than "a video game world". Everything from any RPG out there, random quests, NPCs, crafting, trading and all, just no specific plot.
1. new subscriber from this, AMAZING building. the way builders like you use all sorts of different blocks for textures is insane to me (like fletchers stations, or toolsmith tables, ect.) it's just mind boggling how people are this creative. 2. i LOVE solarpunk, and I especially love your take on it! the districts are so well thought out and put together and it just all makes sense! it really inspires me to one: build like this in my own minecraft worlds, and two: write. solarpunk, to me at least, brings back a very community oriented lifestyle that has been largely abandoned nowadays. its all so cool and i can not put into words how awesome it is!
This was an incredible video. Loved that the build was lore-based, one part that especially stood out to me was the buildings in the agricultural area were built into the ground so their roofs would be at ground-level. Awesome stuff!
Only a few minutes in so far but this is absolutely insane, the build is awesome but the editing is really well done too! Really nice job, great to see you back 😃
I have NEVER heard of Solarpunk before, but seeing this?? I wish more cities were like this in the real world, it's so beautiful while being practical, and the designs of it make it seem like an economists dream. It's the opposite of Cyberpunk.
This. Is. Fantastic. I'm always into man-made x nature like post apocalyptic cities with plants growing crazy on the tall buildings and houses and other stuff. But solar punk is definitely another good genre. It's such a shame that we don't see this a lot. Genuinely would love to see a movie or an adventure/action/story driven game in this genre. Also, you mentioned a nether portal. I'd love for you to make solarpunk city but in the nether in that same world.

this is BY FAR the greatest city build i've seen in a long time. And I'm quite the enthusiast, speaking as an architect and urbanist. Great video, even greater build. The best part was definitely the villagers singing in the end. Very touching
When I tell you my eyes were glued to the screen the whole time, this is the prettiest build I have ever seen. At some point my jaw dropped and didn't close anymore until the end of the video, each part got better and better. AMAZING job!
The only thing that rubbed me wrong was the largest crane in the industrial bay. The base is so thin compared to the top that it looks to have no support and looks uneasy. However, right after that you mentioned how this one neighborhood was built by the seaside to "Get away from the sounds of the industry" which immediately immersed me so much in this area. The rest of the island is so good and i honestly cant think of a better example of solarpunk in Minecraft. You're awesome!
This is hands down one of my favorite city builds ever. Solarpunk is one of my favorite sub genres, alongside cyber and steam punk, so to finally see someone build a really unique and well thought out city with this aesthetic is awesome.
I love how this whole build is Minecraft scale. Like so many other builds I see are huge megabuilds and aren’t meant to be for Minecraft-sized people to be walking around so this was a breath of fresh air 😁😁
@@AinetheIrish The city example in the beginning of a sad looking city is usually not how any city looks. It's extreme bias by someone who doesn't actually look up at buildings or has been to a city such as New York, Chicago, or even a new development like Miami, to see how much culture really is there when you take away to chaos, gritty life on streets, homelessness, and modern residential glass blocks that take up half the street.
it's definitely an exaggeration for the sake of the video. I absolutely love cities, but it's fun to try to imagine better cities because there will never be perfect one.
@@SludaBuilds and that's alright, people are always trying their best to improve, it turns out places like London in the 1800s became extremely polluted because people were desperate and didn't care at all about something that was important to them. The industries were definitely full of greed, but many were just accustomed to the practice. Especially chimneys, heaven forbid New York city in 1750 have chimneys the rats! Honestly, we only see these things bad today because we aren't busy enough, and have invested our practices into more angular discoveries like science and medicine more so than at the time. Though those people must have been very healthy and resilient at the time to have lived through without major illnesses, same with chimneys. Probably seemed charming at the time having all these homes puffing at night keeping the houses warm in winter. I don't exactly look at your proposed world and see anything remotely natural or friendly, everythings too large, strange, and clean with overly corporate looking materials for everything around you, glass domes encasing atriums instead being out in the open. Truly the best way to live was the towns of North America, open, well storied, beautiful homes that didn't take up too much and still remained populated, all completely sorrounded by 50,000 acres of forest and land that they have never inhabited until the next settlement/town. we also traveled the ocean by sail with zero coal production and the worst thing that entered the ocean was wood chips and tea 😉. It was remarkably normal, and I much prefer it to this tourist island.
The way you talk so casually while you've clearly put so much thought into the realism, the structure, the layout, the details, the story line and just everything makes this even crazier. This whole build is incredibly impressive ❤
I don't know what to say.. but in just 27 minutes this video is really a treat for the eyes and satisfies my expectations all your efforts and hard work deserve to be liked by everyone.
How do you like a video twice? This is absolutely STUNNING! I’d love to see the more in-depth build process on some parts, especially how you chose the shapes and color palettes. I especially love how you include lore and context behind the different pieces, explaining the history. You do a really great job of mixing colors, sharp and curved lines, shapes, scales, and terrain with man made structures! But while all of these are my favorites, I especially appreciate the time you take to mix *time* and *space* with old and new buildings! It makes the city seem a lot more lived in and comfortable, like it’s a place made by hands and not just an omnipresent builder, if that makes sense? It also grounds the idea in reality by providing context as to what’s where and why it’s there. Absolutely breathtaking. I could go on more about it, like the fantastic natural looking statue and the blending of actual infrastructure to make sense in the context of the build, but it would take a year to list out everything I love about this build! That effort paid off in spades, in my eyes. Absolutely gorgeous build, and a beautiful piece of *artwork.* Hopefully this comment helps boost your stuff to new viewers, too! You deserve a lot more! (Also I just wanted to mention how cool the music choices, editing, and crediting are! Definitely would have preferred to see part of the build process in full since someone mentioned how it was previewed backwards, but I’m not sure if that’s for the entire thing or not. It’d be awesome to see some behind the scenes if those don’t exist already. Plus, it looks super smooth the way you did it, so I don’t particularly mind either way!)
I love this so fricking much. You know what I love about this. In a way it excactly how I would imagine a devolped world to look like. Not something that is filmed to the brim with inconvinient sci fi
I'm so happy someone decided to bring this idea to life! I dream up concepts of such cities in my head every day, but I didn't even think it had a name. I'm so glad that some people understand the harmony between human beings and nature

I'm not sure. Voxel Heights, maybe? Seems like the place where a lot of new families with kids would live when they first come into the city.
Why is nobody talking about how he did the interior too? Absolutely phenomenal bro. Hats off to you.
The world if Caves and Cliffs included the firefly:

The world if E=mc2
jokes on you it was supposed to be in the wild update not caves and cliffs NYEHEHEHEEEEHH
@@madelynscorner right. But just imagine if Caves and Cliffs included it
It’s so funny you made this video, our Minecraft community is attempting to make a solar punk styled city so this came out at the right time
I LOVE that you are actually including the insides of the buildings and considering the logistics and infrastructure of such a city.
This is actually my favorite minecraft build
absolutely phenomenal 😲. i love the lush island theme, and the beautiful city that really goes with the scenery. its like how a paradise would be without being cliche or unrealistic, the solarpunk is way better than the cyberpunk. it is obvious that you put in so much care and effort into the design and story, bringing together a fantastic masterpiece 😁
how are you not pinned yet thats so generous 😭😭
GIVE THIS MAN A HEART AND PIN
Thank you so much!!! I'm very fortunate to have viewers that appreciate the small details and extra effort. People like you were my biggest motivation for this project💛
phenomenal is the exact word i was thinking while watching, funny i scroll down and the first comment agrees with my phrasing lmao
We need to build this in real life so I can LIVE there!
woahhhh Thank you so much kenridge !!! I'm happy you enjoyed it:D

Where will you go after death heaven for eternity or hell for eternity
Wonderful. The villagers wandering the city at the end is the icing on the cake.
Thank you:) was hoping that would make it feel more lively
I agree. also theres a baby villager stuck in the water at 24:10 😭
@@WhiskersAndCookie Oh, yeah, there he/she is 🤭🤭😬😬😖😖
My main problem with Solar Punk is that normally the the buildings are white with foliage on them and d have little variety outside of shape, glad to see all different types of blocks are used for different types of buildings.
Having designed and built biophilic projects with living roofs, public transportation hubs, etc. I love your design.
Hoenstly even just moving past minecraft, this is one of the best pieces of Solarpunk art I've seen. Really well done.
My favorite part of this build were the names you gave all the towns, buildings, resorts, etc. They heavily remind me of Super Mario Sunshine, as does most of this build really.
Very quickly became my new favorite MC build. Lovely work!
You da best🙂↕️
What an amazing project, definitely gives me a lot of inspiration for what I should build next. Keep it up dude!
Shut up you are trash , thats why i have never seen any of your video
This theme/style of build is very rare to find and soothing to watch. I really like this kind of build that has a very pleasing aesthetic of nature in the build. You’re so underrated, keep up the good work man!
This might honestly be the best build i have ever seen
Im flattered!
Cant believe you only have 2.5k subscribers, super underrated video.
It's a lot to me:)!
@@SludaBuildscan’t believe how many subscribers you’ve grown because of the video, so much effort put in, and so many benefits reaped!
I am overwhelmed by all of the positive comments! Thank you so much 💛Sub 4 more epicness!
bro u r amazing i love u but I cant open the patreon link
Just found you and just subscribed. never heard the term solarpunk before but it looks amazing!!!!!
Same ❤❤❤
🎉I like the map but i d’ont have money 😢 good work ❤ i hope one days i have the money or the map passe to free
Everything from any RPG out there, random quests, NPCs, crafting, trading and all, just no specific plot.
severely underrated channel, man. Everything you put out is a BANGER
'Preciate that! I really wish I could make this kind of video in a fraction of the time so I could put out even more for yall
1. new subscriber from this, AMAZING building. the way builders like you use all sorts of different blocks for textures is insane to me (like fletchers stations, or toolsmith tables, ect.) it's just mind boggling how people are this creative.
2. i LOVE solarpunk, and I especially love your take on it! the districts are so well thought out and put together and it just all makes sense! it really inspires me to one: build like this in my own minecraft worlds, and two: write. solarpunk, to me at least, brings back a very community oriented lifestyle that has been largely abandoned nowadays.
its all so cool and i can not put into words how awesome it is!
at first, i thought this was a big channel. wow. ur incredible dude
This entire build is so fricking incredible, you genuinely have the motivation, creativity, and talent I envy
This actually makes me emotional? I wish places like this, built for people to thrive and enjoy their lives, could actually exist.
Really nice job, great to see you back 😃
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANGO
just finished your empire vid
mangoo, i just watched a video of yours before this 1, the over 1 billion block buidling :)
Thanks! Glad it has your approval😎 your channel's success has been a huge inspiration for me. Really looking forward to your BILLION block build btw
Oh hey, nice to see ya
A splendid idea. I will ponder this
over a year ago i was searching youtube to see if anyone had made a solarpunk city in minecraft, now i get this in my recommended! what a crazy build! ❤❤❤
I don’t normally comment but this truly deserves to blow up. There are channels with millions of followers who could not of done this style justice. I wish you luck as you grow and please keep the content up.
Really appreciate that, I'm starting the next build today😈
I didn’t know your channel before but I am impressed by the work done and both disappointed that you are not more visibility. So here’s a gift from me to help you. (sorry for my English, I’m French)
Thank you so much! you did not have to do that💛 I’m glad this video found you:)
i've been waiting to see someone do exactly this in minecraft! the style translates really well into the game and i am so impressed with the level of thought, detail, and story. wonderful work
You’re honestly so underrated, this must’ve taken insanely long, the final result looks genuinely awesome.

An absolutely amazing build. Your take on the open air feeling with plenty of natural elements across the majority of spaces along with the aqueducts just brought the island city to life.
The scavenger hunt is a fun add to the world download! Great build.
This is the greatest thing of all time.
I LOVE Solarpunk and I think that this represents perfectly its essence. It’s bright, colourful land full of life I just LOVED THE VIDEO🫶🫶🫶
Interior designer meets Author, Truley awe inspirating the timelapse. Played Minecraft since pocket edition made its first release, made memories with me and my cousins. Love your effort.

I just finished watching! What a great piece of work! 6 months you said? Totally worth it! I enjoyed the video to the fullest!
Can't wait what you do next!
Thank you Captain! haha yea I was designing it while putting out some shorter videos, then realized I had to focus on it 100%. Glad you enjoyed!:)
It looks incredible
I was literally on the edge of my seat watching this video. I was that invested! This has to be the best build I have ever seen.
This is my new favorite Minecraft creation of all time. I had genuine shivers the entire time I was watching. I don't know if I can ever feel this kind of haunting wonder for something that isn't this peak. Thank you for this gracious contribution to my dopamine levels.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching:)
you are a very underrated minecraft builder you videos need more hype. I love how it has story and the city has life, you really deserve more acknowleadgement.
this is also a very good idea for a minecraft build ive never seen it before and really liked it.
Best Minecraft build of 2024 hands down. The detail and architecture is insane my dude.
omg omg omg
this is a huge step up and i cant wait to play it! very well done! i have no doubt that in some time, youll surpass the skill and reputation of great builders like shovel and trixy. keep pushing, and good luck for your journey on that path. im excited to see what the future holds.
Thank you so much! I would be absolutely thrilled to ever be mentioned in the same sentence as those guys haha
20:34 I absolutely love the gradient acknowledgment here! You took it into perspective so well! It turned out great because of it!
I want to live here in real life! Vesta Verde looks so comfy!
minecraft lowkey is art ngl
Voxel heights gives me big Townscaper vibes!
this is BY FAR the greatest city build i've seen in a long time. And I'm quite the enthusiast, speaking as an architect and urbanist. Great video, even greater build. The best part was definitely the villagers singing in the end. Very touching
Minecraft God mode. Congratulations, this is awe inspiring.
Thank you! I am glad for you (and us viewers) that you have this tool to express your vision.
Solarpunk is easily better than Cyberpunk. It has a lot of life and joy to live in. Sadly, governments don't build these in real life.
When I tell you my eyes were glued to the screen the whole time, this is the prettiest build I have ever seen. At some point my jaw dropped and didn't close anymore until the end of the video, each part got better and better. AMAZING job!
15:10 not the missing iron trapdoor! 😩
Ahhhhh!
Real 😭 PLEASE UPLOAD JUST A SINGLE VIDEO OF YOU ADDING THE TRAPDOOR 🙏🙏🙏
The only thing that rubbed me wrong was the largest crane in the industrial bay. The base is so thin compared to the top that it looks to have no support and looks uneasy.
However, right after that you mentioned how this one neighborhood was built by the seaside to "Get away from the sounds of the industry" which immediately immersed me so much in this area.
The rest of the island is so good and i honestly cant think of a better example of solarpunk in Minecraft.
You're awesome!
This is hands down one of my favorite city builds ever. Solarpunk is one of my favorite sub genres, alongside cyber and steam punk, so to finally see someone build a really unique and well thought out city with this aesthetic is awesome.
at 24:12 there's a child drowning in the river
Kid deserves it
@SludaBuilds what did the kid do?
You don’t wanna know…
I love how this whole build is Minecraft scale. Like so many other builds I see are huge megabuilds and aren’t meant to be for Minecraft-sized people to be walking around so this was a breath of fresh air 😁😁
0:01 most cities have never looked like this to anyone that pays attention.
what r u talking about
@@AinetheIrish The city example in the beginning of a sad looking city is usually not how any city looks.

It's beautiful, it's intelligent, it's elegant, and of course, it's full of life! All what's solarpunk aspires to be!
Awesome work, sooooo inspiring
Fortnite map?
The way you talk so casually while you've clearly put so much thought into the realism, the structure, the layout, the details, the story line and just everything makes this even crazier. This whole build is incredibly impressive ❤
This is, hands-down, one of the most amazing builds I've ever seen. It's, by far, the most expansive!
Um, so, this is actually insane 🤯 This actually looks so amazing like wth. Never in my life have I wanted to build my own city so badly than I do rn
Voxel heights looks like the perfect place for a university dorm in wich i would absolutely love to live in. Such a beautiful creation.
Absolutely gorgeous build, and a beautiful piece of *artwork.*
Hopefully this comment helps boost your stuff to new viewers, too!
This is one of the most creative and incredible builds ever
My husband was watching this video and I was mesmerized. This is an incredible build and truly inspiring city design.
I LOVE this kind of build, building with the contours of the land and making a point of the beauty of nature.
I'm so happy someone decided to bring this idea to life! I dream up concepts of such cities in my head every day, but I didn't even think it had a name. I'm so glad that some people understand the harmony between human beings and nature
Absolutely beautiful! I can't believe you did this in only6months. You must have worked yourself ragged. I love the solar punk aspect. Incredible amount of work. Thanks so much for sharing!
