Thank you for watching! 💚
Picking the right colors for your house feels hard. But does it have to be? After creating 100 unique block palettes, I've realized I follow the same steps almost all the time. And it works so well I couldn't keep this method for myself. So in this tutorial I'm gonna show you the best palettes I've designed, I will reveal the simple system I used to created them, and give you awesome tips and tricks to improve and elevate your builds.

This is so amazing! Brilliant idea! Merci for keeping it free! I do have a question though: the block colors app site doesn't show an actual color "wheel" just a color square per se lol. How can I make it into a wheel so that I can utilize your tip on going the opposite color to make something pop?
What the fuck how do you only have ca 9700 subscribers with THAT level of video quality??? Highly underrated, amazing video!
I really hope you start making more design and landscaping videos. Your other content is fantastic, and I would love to see more from you.
These videos are always such a treat to watch
Thank you Mog, I'm honored! 🙏 (I'd love to ask you some questions btw, if that's okay with you)
Hello Mog!
hello lodi
its mogging time
Awesome!!!!
Best editing I've ever seen in a Minecraft video. No audience retention grabbing techniques, just pure sophisticated "less is more" design. Nice work!
That's a huge compliment, thank you! 🙏
I agree. Feels very sophisticated and artsy whilst also remaining minimalist.
@@HenriPacca hey, were you inspired by monogatari?
@@ultimatumdweebium2965 I don't know what monogatari is ^^'
@@HenriPacca ruclips.net/video/OFEdjf-W-dY/видео.html this video talks about the editing style in the monogatari series, you would be surprised how much it has in common with your editing style, the monagatari editing style is widely considered the best editing in anime

clean editing
Bro, I know that probably everyone at this point has said that they like your editing style, but I want to say it too. It is just minimalistic, and this makes it beautiful. Right now, many are calling themselves good editors; however, they are just copying and pasting editing styles with no personality. I am talking about those videos with subtitles for each word, with standard music and the same transitions every two seconds. So I am really happy to see a different and professional approach to video editing. I am an editor myself, and this is just blessing my eyes
Wow this is such a rewarding comment! Thank you! I put a lot of love in these videos 🙏
This is just straight out facts
@@HenriPacca By the way, are you planning to reveal how you edit your videos? It would be really interesting to see
@@ilikeeveryone123 Many asked for an editing breakdown, so that might happen :)

i think everyone should learn basic color theory! it’s really useful whether you’re making art, critiquing a film, designing a room, or even something like building in minecraft. thanks for showing that off!
as minecrafter and pso2 player who constantly build gundam
i agree
batukam
Gives you a deeper appreciation for smart color palates too! Just makes everything feel more thoughtful.
Color Theory ended up being the class from art college I've gotten the most use and appreciation out of. It's a skill that just seems to drift into the background of your brain, unnoticed, but leans over your shoulder to give you suggestions like "Put that color there, and that one there" or "Those 2 colors are too close together, they'll turn to mush if you're too far away". Maybe that's just the way my brain works, idk
its actually even important when picking clothes for yourself and making yourself attractive
This was one of the most aesthetically pleasing and informational videos I've ever watched. Well done 👏
Thank you, dude! It's a pleasure to see you here :)
Wild insert sighting
As an artist I gotta say, you explained color theory better than plenty of teachers! And you have such a wonderful and snappy editing style. It clearly conveys a personality of its own, while engaging the audience. Serious props!
That’s what I was thinking!
Explained simply and clear
Your video style is so engaging. Fun and bright, easy to follow and hits the target audience perfectly. Keep it going Henri ❤
Thank you so much! ❤️

this was actually really helpful for such a short video! as an artist i'm familiar with these concepts already, but i had honestly never thought about applying them to minecraft builds. thanks!

im actually amazed by the fact you only have five thousand subscribers, super underrated
Didn’t take the SpongeBob narrator as a gamer
This is what he's doing when he isn't narrating
This editing style is quite unique and pleasant! I honestly could go on for a while about all the little details I love, from the music, to the overall editing style, but I’m not sure how to explain it. But it definitely feels professional, unique, and relaxing. But a well edited video is nothing if the information given can’t compare, and in this case I will say that isn’t the case at all. The video was genuinely helpful! I’m sure many beginner builders will find this a valuable resource, and even those who are more advanced will find this useful! Thank you for this lovely video
Your channel is for my opinion the best for Minecraft tutorials. Quick, well explained and fun
Thank you! 🙏
3:44 You even made netherrack look good
Even Grian was struggling with using Netherrack in his last video lol. He tried to make it work but that block just looks ugly when it's in excess.

I love Minecraft and I love color theory. This is perfect 🌈
r u the spongebob narrator
I've never had issues with block palettes. I only build cobblestone castles.
Another great thing about this video is it being literally 4 minutes with useful information. No long and time consuming plot. Thx
Normally za French make my ass twitch, but this one? Puts a smile on my face 👍

new subscriber achieved. this is probably one of the best building channels ive seen. explains in an easy way, a minimalistic editing style, and ur voice, everything is in pure harmony. love your channel!!!

This is The Hardest Thing for me to accept, and probably why I suck at building- Not just in minecraft, either, also applies to Terraria and other sandbox games
I understand the concept, use the blocks for the color, not what it actually 'is', but... It feels so weird. Like using sandstone outside of a desert, or coral away from the water? Inconceivable to my small brain, regardless of how many times I watch other people make it look good.
Your editing and composition style is OUTSTANDING. The simple but flavorful script and classical music really give it a sophisticated feel. I’ve recently joined a server and needed inspiration for a home base, time to watch the other two parts!
Ah I'm glad I hit my target, I really enjoyed using classical music in this video ^^
I knew about colour pallette and that it was important in a build. I knew that colour theory was relevant for colour pallettes.
But what sets this video apart is that nobody ever explained how you use colour theory to build a colour pallette.
Thumbs up and subscribe from me. You, sir, have earned it.
dude when i watched this i genuinely had a lightbulb moment as you revealed how you turn blocks into colors and such, this is genius!!

Leave it to a Frenchmen to say "simplicity is key,"

The French make simple tasteful.
Fantastic video.

Ahahah i just discovered this video so randomly and even as a french with a pretty descent pronounciation, the french accent makes me so laugh, thank you ahah
Merci encore pour tes conseils !!
some of these pallets just look... bad... like im sure they can work maybe but it just looks like a house built out of whatever you had in your chest placed randomly on the house.
i feel that way about a lot of textured builds... maybe its just me
Wow, this houses are so beautiful. Wtf, i never imagined so many palletes possibilites would work this well in Minecraft
Makes me wanna get better at editing x3 great video!

This editing was amazing! Thank you so much for this! Mwa!
the edit is so clean im gonna bust
I almost thought this was the narrator from spongebob.
As much as I think color theory in Minecraft has caused some good. This videos shows off why I think it's overall been bad. Most of these houses are ugly af. Taking the average color of a block only looks good from far away. It makes no sense to have such clashing colors and random blocks in the construction. sure, birch logs and quartz are both white. That doesn't mean they look good together.
18k subs is EXTREMLY LOW for the quality of ur content!!!!!!!!
The level of editing is astonishing despite how minimalistic it is, and the music perfectly matches its simplicity. This video, which cpmbined the aforementioned factorss almost makes Minecraft construction seem like an art... And I guess it is, in a way. I wonder what program he used to make it.
next video you should make is some tips on the editing style because oh my gosh this is just eye candy
This video was so freaking pleasant to watch I just could not stop myself from subscribing
Did not expect to learn color theory from this random minecraft video

why the hell do u only have 13k subs? should have 13m. the production is fantastic.

BROOO, ur so underrated, pls keep making more videos!
think its important to watch what colors these houses are placed on top of
not every house will look perfect in every environment
use analogous and contrasting colors for the setting as well
Holy shit, what a high quality video from such a small channel.

3:02 bro outed himself in a Minecraft colour design video :] It can be/is coincidence ig
Could someone dumb it down for me and explain it like the process of the colors and what ones go where
Came for minecraft, stayed for the accent
this guys accent is perfect for this idk why but I can feel it
I taking this as colour theory. No one can stop me from using Minecraft for colors
I don't know who you are, but you sound like you give good hugs. Subbed
love the video but i think your style of architecture leans too far into vibrant artistry when there’s overall a lack of neutral colors, theme, motifs, and subtly.
I personally don’t mesh with the stylization but the way you explained it through traditional color theory was neat and the editing is phenomenal.
Thank you! You're right, I don't do neutral colors that much. Fortunately many great builders have covered this part. ^^
Naaah I thought the extreme french accent was only a hollywood cliche but its real
