I use all sorts of technology! I use AI, such as Chat GPT or Claude.AI, the Java programming language and MCP reborn to modify the video game's code. Artificial Intelligence definitely helps a lot, but only used for the most basic tasks.

It would be incredible if Endermen actually built stuff in Vanilla. Like over time you notice a strange spire appear over the tree-line and find a colony of Endermen recreating an End City.

Its kinda like... the natural inclination for Endermen is to slowly transform the overworld into their home environment, spiky pillars, living layers and void mines.

Some food for thought while watching this video. According to the unreleased book about Minecraft that Jeb wrote, The goal of the Endermen is to bring about the destruction of all dimensions by picking up and moving around various blocks that are supposedly important for holding the realm together.
so essentially, Endermen are like entropy.
This is like the 'in one probability monkeys can reproduce Beethoven' or something like that but with Enderman and having them accidentally create a massive castle.
The crenellations were quite lovely.

I think it would be monstrous to create a flat world with a redstone floor, to spawn an enderman with a command block in his hands, who will spawn the same enderman every time the command block is put on the floor
Maybe the reason why endermans is building pillars is because they were the ones who built the pillars in the end several hundred years ago

This was really interesting. There’s a lot more you could do with a part 2, such as giving the Enderman infinite vertical range (within the world limits, obviously) or seeing if they can eventually assemble a working Redstone contraption that does something.

Viewers probably expected a normal distribution shaped hill to form like in the thumbnail, but it didn't. This is because instead of randomly walking across the map which would have resulted in a normal distribution, the endermen teleported to their placing locations, with each block in the chunk having equal probability.

I'd be curious to see how they interact with mountains made completely out of sand over a much larger area. I imagine the endermen would function as a terrain smoothing function at larger scales 🤔
This was an interesting experiment to see on here. It was interesting with the simulated time placed in. Make me wonder if the enderman would be able to build a pyramid while moving blocks around.

In theory, this could be used as a sorting algorithm
I did one of my bases on top of a shattered savanna. I would see whole herds of Endermen under my base just chillin. The whole landscape on the bottom of the savanna was riddled with out of place blocks. They did actually change the landscape and it was a bit weird looking.
I didn’t mind that they changed the landscape but the ones holding blocks would not despawn and it got to the point where the surrounding area had dozens of Enderman just running around. 😂
I swear the speed ups of the endermen demolishing absolutely everything is making me laugh so hard…

This would be such a cool idea for a story. Like, something happens that makes all the endermen go crazy, and it becomes some sort of apocalypse because even though they don’t auto attack players, they would start rapidly destroying any kind of structures, including destroying the ground creating sink holes literally everywhere, flooding places by moving water, burning places by moving fire and lava, completely destroying all ecosystems, and there would be so many of them that the chance of looking one in the eyes, or accidentally hitting one when they teleport in front of you, would be WAY higher, and it would create a massive domino effect. It would be interesting to see how people would adapt.

I think the pillars are due to endermen having a higher chance of teleporting higher, which wouldn't usually be that noticeable, but with that many, the probability is much easier to observe. (This is just my hypothesis, as I know other mobs tend up hill)
