In this video The Fastest Roadside Guy Alive takes a flat tire off of a vehicle and puts a blackjack plug in it. You can see as we remove the wheel air it up and locate the hole. Then we ream the hole to smooth it out and remove any loose debris. We then insert a plug and trim it up flush with the tire tread. We then air up the tire and put the wheel back on the car. this service you can charge 75-85 dollars for so its well worth having in your arsenal.

Couple things you can work on. Need better organization on your truck. Get a camper if you need more space. You keep digging all around for stuff, time is money. Secondly before you ream you need to already have your plug ready to go in right when you take the reamer out. You reamed then took it out and walked away to insert the plug into the tool while air is leaking out.. last thing you want is that tire bead coming off. Just some friendly tips I learned while plugging a million tires in my life
Good timing
You’re helping me out immensely. Been working a week now. 50+ calls. I went with a 3 ton aluminum jack. Milwaukee impact. I bought the pittsburgh wheel socket set you showed in another video.
nice. it sounds like you got a decent tool set up. watch my tools video if you want to see every tool i carry on the truck.

How’d you get so many calls in one week? What do you do to get jobs?
you just started and in 1 week you got 50+ calls? I need to know how lol
@@infamouz111 he probably lives in a busy city. Also advertising around highway stops and gas stations can help a lot. I did it for car detailing and I’ve got pretty busy fast. High traffic areas are your best option for ads.
If I can patch a tire for a customer, Instead of putting on a spare it makes their day. Sometimes you get some awesome tips for it too...
How long does that patch last for them? Thanks.
Anyway I can watch more with batteries service
Can you use a Jumpbox as a power source for a separate air compressor?
I’m in Los Angeles .. been doing road side for auto club for 15 years.. looking to go solo .. what do you think about Agero?
What’s your tire inflator setup?🤔
so 65 per hole in tire? or 3 max?
Get you a reflective vest, brother
When are you making another video?
Mostly on tik tok now. @thefastestroadsideguy
Are plugs a legal permanent repair over there? Or just a 'get you home' They used to last well but we aren't allowed to fit them in the UK anymore, have to have tyre off rim and patch from inside.
It's a hotly debated topic as well in the US. No laws against using them but there is a risk of liability to the shop doing it. Meaning if the tire fly's apart you can bet they will be coming after you for any damage that was done. And god forbid someone gets hurt as a result. I think Sam would be smart to do another video on the legal aspect of this. As a roadside business when you should plug. what releases to get signed to acknowledge that it is only a temporary repair etc.
My opinion if they have a spare put it on, let the tire shop make the call on the repair after they have inspected the inside of the tire for damage from running on it. Doing a plug from the outside you have no idea what the inside looks like.
Here is an example: ruclips.net/video/WxnkGiAOOhM/видео.html
But if they are in the middle of no where with no spare plug it up and make sure they know it's temporary (even if they run on it for years at least you will have a receipt that says "FOR TEMPORARY USE ONLY")
@@stevew9563 I would feel better just using the spare as well.
@@stevew9563 You're full of it. It isn't hotly debated here, it isn't even a debate. Hell, the tire shops do it all the time. Only way the shop or provider would face liability is if the plug failed, and even then it would be on the owner to prove that the plug failed due to incompetence. Plugs are made out of the same material they make tires from. The adhesive is the same adhesive they use in the tire manufacturing process. If properly done, that plug will be stronger than the rest of the tire. Let me guess, you probably think retread's are a "temporary fix" too don't you?
How much do you charge to plug a tire?
Did you not watch the video? He literally told you in the video. Pay attention
How much money can you make doing this type of job, looking to change work direction please
I don't know what you suppose to see with that spray bottle its not spraying nothing. You need to invest in a good sparay bottle gang.
I think I'm faster. We should have a contest.
Thus is an complete joke anybody in this bussiness should be able to do this
