Ya'll.. THANK you for responding to this! Eddie Vedder is a musician and a poet. His lyrics are balm to many folks who feel broken hearted. If you get a chance - watch his song "ALIVE"... that song has helped so many people come back from the brink. Ya'll are so beautiful. Keep spreading love and awesome positive vibes.

WOW! So Glad you Finally got exposed to Pearl Jam!! Believe me when I Say at my advanced age of 59!! The 90s Rock scene blew me away as I was almost stuck in the 60s and 70s!! Also believe that you're touching on just One of their Great tunes and one of many Great bands of the 90s decade!! Gotta watch and hear their Tribute to Bob Dylan called "Masters Of War"!! That's just for starters. WOW, THANK YOU!!

Eddie Vedder the lead singer feels every single lyric and it shows! His passion is so palpable. This is my all-time favorite Unplugged performance and then next Alice in Chains Nutshell Unplugged performance!

"I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be the sun .. in somebody else's sky .. but why .. Why .. WHYYYYYYY can't it be .. can't it be mine?" One of the most meaningful lines every written, especially for all of us who've hopelessly and helplessly loved someone with all that we have, only to have that love turned away. Loved this song from the moment I first heard it many many years ago .. and as always love your reaction!!

He truly sings with his heart. When singers close their eyes, a lot of the times they are leaving the scenery around them. Only singing matters. They kinda get locked into their own world at the time. He definitely is great.

I think it’s probably because a roommate that I had back in the day was obsessed with Pearl Jam and he would play it constantly and I think I kinda got sick of it but this is my favorite, Pearl Jam song and one of my favorite songs enter the main can sang and not to mention he’s incredibly handsome

I've been fortunate enough to see peal jam 6times live, by far one of the best live band i've ever seen. You guys should check out Crown of thorns .It's a cover of a song by a Band called Mother love bone. The lead singer of that group passed away and the remaining members teamed with Eddie Vedder to form Pearl jam. The Temple of The Dog album was done in memory of that lead singer.
