Hi there, I replaced the mechatronics unit on BMW e70 x5 and I am getting coding successful but progeamming failed. I am using ms909, any ideas? Car is stuck in park. I swapped the old unit back in and the car got into the gear again. I am scratching my head, your help would be appreciated
Mechatronics are pretty solid made so you might want to try changing the TCU/GWS. If you’re for sure its not that then some people say you cant code a used mechatronics unit in, only a new one but there’s probably a way around it if you know someone smart enough

Hi. Why do I have error 5143 no message EGS receiver, ACC transmitter? I have a remanufactured 6HP26 gearbox. She sometimes drags the gears a bit, 2-3 or 4-3 or 3-2, and suddenly brakes the car sharply. There is no power, 8.2 seconds to 100 km/h (545 and 5.8). She has adapted, she has learned, but the symptoms are as above. Please help.
A little insight. Have 608pro. Doesn’t reset to swap vin even with 608 via OBD. Bench job or swap mech unit and no reset or coding needed. It’s a multi part process. If I could find out if Abrites could do via OBD I’d use that then either Abrites to update calibration file or ISTA as $40-50 thru OEM using icom module. It’s not all rosy as some make it out to be. This should be a $700-900 job easily. Brick one and have customer replace at ur cost then you’ll realize why. It’s a wonder how these $100 guys make any money when you mail them ur part. $100 and they still have to claim that as income, pay taxes, train themselves, feed their family, etc.

For Diag, and coding this tool is fine. But anything related to immobilizer you would need im508 or 608

Yes, if it has not been programmed yet, definitely.
You also need to renew transmission control unit as well if has been used before.

@@Bigray1993 My problem was fixed yesterday. It was the sleeve at the x8500 connector. Because the sleeve was installed incorrectly at the connector.
