Great video, could you make a video explaining how to program a DME MEV17.2.1 the car's doesn't read, but I have the key and cas3 matched. (X1 2011 2.0) THANK YOU!
I did this just now and the car starts and drive but the milage is not correct and the vin # is different meaning the original car vin # is now not matching the car it is showing the downer ecu vin, how can I change the vin #?
This procedure only works Bosch ecus. It doesn't work on Siemens and continental Ecus. It only allows you to read the ISN on Siemens and Continental. It doesn't give you the option to save the eprom or write ISN. Im using OTOFIX IM1 with Gbox2, which is basically the same setup you got
Regarding the tampering fault have you attempted to reprogram one of these cloned DMEs after the bench write to see if it'll go away? Through CIP in the 608. Would be curious. But on the other hand, considering only the EEPROM is touched with this method will that mean this DME won't be able to be reprogrammed in the future?
Have yall done like a swap out on the ews modules, in particular im trying to get an ews from a '99 323i to a 2000 z3 because the chip/transpondent from z3 fob is missing. Would it work if i dont swap the ignition cylinder hence door locks, just put the chip into the key, and the modules on the dash?
just subscribed to ur channel after watching AWESOME teaching/information thanks for sharing and happy new year from CANADA.
Love you brother good job upload more videos like this

If you have an ecu that can't be read how can I program the downer one I want to put in the car?
Hi
@Dynamic Auto Works, you just plug in a mouse on the Autel?
Is the Autel Im508 capable of cloning?
