Hi, Is the autel IM608 able to clone the mercedes continental ECU SIM271DE2.0? And is it necessary to virgin the donor ECU before doing the ECU cloning procedure?
what numbers on the ecu did you end up matching? I just attempted to clone a 17.7.2 and it bricked 2 donors that matched the bosch number and mercedes part number.
@@DTEAuto MED17.7.5 _ PN/A 177 900 66 03 _HW 177901 99 00. I did it with IM608 but before that i backed up with KESS3. It was my first time using the GBox3 so i took some precautionary steps. Try and see if you can get the data off with KESS3, Magicsport, or Dimsport.
@@TheMasterFerrari yes I did everything exact, used power supply stay above 12V used gbox3 , I would be able to read the data from all modules no problem, original and donors, once it came to write, it gave me a fail message. I then attempted to read them again and both donors were now dead not letting me read them. I matched the major numbers that always normally do on Benz, but whatever it wasn't happy with it bricked them. You can tell in the video he wrote back straight into the same ecu, he just had it flipped so you couldn't see the numbers, obviously it was a perfect match with all numbers that it needed to match and why his worked.
